Bashkiria is rightfully considered one of the main winter regions of Russia. Here, in the lap of majestic nature, sports festivals and competitions are constantly taking place. In the capital of the republic alone there are 3 ski resorts. This is where we will begin our review of the ski centers of Bashkortostan.
Ski resort “Ak Yort”
The year-round sports complex "AK Yort" welcomes guests every day. The location of the center is within the city of Ufa. This is one of the favorite places for active recreation lovers, because you can ski down the slope even in the dark, after a hard day. “AK Yort” has 2 slopes with a height difference of 75 meters and a length of 450 m. These two slopes are intended for experienced skiers. Beginners can master this sport on a separate slope. There are always instructors here who will help you master skiing or snowboarding techniques. The surface of the slopes is ideal, it is maintained by snow compaction equipment, and if there is a lack of snow, snow cannons begin to work.
To rise to heights, use . There are two of them at Ak Yorta - large and small.

The center has an equipment repair and rental service, as well as a store with a large assortment of alpine skiing snowboards, masks, helmets and much more. Ski resort “Olympic Park”
Within the city of Ufa (Bashkiria) there is the Olympic Park - a place where lovers of winter fun and winter sports flock in winter. The complex quickly became one of the main attractions of the city. Getting to the resort will not be difficult; several minibuses and buses go here. The ski season begins here in mid-January.

The Olympic Park has 4 tracks, which are adapted for both beginners and professionals. The total length of the tracks is 1600 meters. All routes meet modern European safety requirements. Snowcats walk along the slopes to create an ideal track surface.
- Green track – designed for skiers of beginner and intermediate levels. The elevation difference here is small, there are no sharp turns.
- Blue trails – there are 2 of them in the complex. On these trails you develop good speed and you can get a dose of adrenaline on steep descents and turns. The length of the blue trails is 500 meters.
- There is only one red track in the Olympic Park, and it is the most difficult. On straight sections of the tracks, the speed develops at breakneck speed, and sharp turns make the descent especially dynamic. The route runs through the forest, which makes the descent more interesting.
In the near future, the management plans to open several more tracks for athletes of intermediate level.
The resort is equipped with several lifts: 3 rope tows and 1 chairlift.
There is night lighting on the slopes, which allows you to extend the pleasure of skiing until late in the evening. The item works. In a small cafe you can warm up, relax and have a snack.
Ski resort “Park Pobedy”
The city ski resort "Park Pobedy", located within the boundaries of Ufa, is an ideal place for those who have just begun to master alpine skiing. Victory Park is easy to get to and there is public transport.

There are two trails in the park, both gentle, level and wide, which makes the descent quite safe. Their length is no more than 250 meters, and the height difference is only 64 meters. Two rope tows help you reach the top. Everything you need can be rented. And to make you more confident on your skis, patient instructors will come to your aid.
Families with children like to come to Victory Park; everything here is arranged for a comfortable stay.
Ski center “Assy-tau”
Near the Bashkir city of Beloretsk, southeast of Ufa, the Assy Tau ski complex (formerly Bashtau) is located.
Directions to “Assy-Tau”
There are 3 trails prepared for skiers:
- The professional track is 800 meters long, the height difference is 90 meters.
- The track is 450 meters long with a height difference of 90 meters
- Route for children.
At night the slopes are illuminated, which is ideal for evening skiing.
The tracks are maintained by a snowcat from BOMBARDIER. The rope tow is working.
For visitors, you can stay for a few days in comfortable houses on the resort grounds, or in the Assy-Tau sanatorium, located one and a half kilometers from the ski resort.
The complex has all the conditions for a pleasant pastime:
- A separate slope for tubing lovers.
- Warm changing room
- Rental of ski equipment and snowmobiles.
- Lots of cafes with delicious dishes.
- Sauna.
- Billiards and table tennis.
- Club with dance music and DJs.
Ski resort “Arsky Stone”
The Arsky Stone ski center is located on the territory of the recreation center of the same name. The location of the center is 18 km from Beloretsk. From Magnitogorsk – 110 km. The season lasts from November to April.
This place will be interesting for beginners in skiing and couples with children. Here you can easily and comfortably hone your downhill skills. You can spend the night at the recreation center in a building with a capacity of 40 rooms.
There are two tracks on the territory of the complex: blue and green level of difficulty, each length is 250 meters, and the height difference is 30 meters. To get to the top, a rope tow was launched with a capacity of 600 people/hour. There is evening lighting of the slopes. It’s comfortable to ski here, since the slopes are serviced by snow-compacting equipment. And if there is not enough snow, and it’s time to go skiing, an artificial snow cover is poured with the help of cannons. For snowboard lovers, there are springboards and a half-pipe. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there is a lot of entertainment here:
- Tubing track;
- Ice rink;
- Horse rides;
- Russian bath;
- Disco and show program;
- All necessary equipment can be rented at the rental office.
Ski resort “Abzakovo”
Everyone knows about one of the most popular ski resorts in the Southern Urals - Abzakovo. This resort is not inferior in its infrastructure and service to the best ski resorts in the country. He has been working for about 20 years. Major sporting events are constantly held here. The season lasts from the end of October to May - this length of the season is due to the presence of an artificial snowmaking system for the slopes. It is located on the slopes of the Krykty-Tau ridge.
Ski slopes “Abzakovo”
There are 13 trails of various difficulty categories that meet the requirements of international standards. Their total length is 15 km, and the elevation difference is 320 m. The routes are served by 7 rope tows and 1 chairlift. There is also a lift for children - a baby lift. try virgin slopes.
At night, some of the trails are illuminated.
Experienced instructors will help beginners learn to ski. A ski school has been opened at the complex.

In addition to alpine skiing, here you can go ice skating, cross-country skiing, tubing, and go on a snowmobile safari. There is an equipment rental and a repair shop. Delicious food will be served in cozy cafes.
Sports and recreation complex “Zvezdny”
In a picturesque, ecologically clean place on the shore of the Pavlovsk Reservoir, the year-round sports complex “Zvezdny” is located. This place is valued for its natural beauty, the possibility of active leisure, silence and clean air.
In winter, skiers can ski here on two slopes that run on Mount Relska. The slopes are suitable for both beginners and confident skiers. There are 3 rope tow lifts. The trails are maintained by snow compaction equipment, and if there is not enough snow, snow cannons are turned on. There is an equipment rental service. And you can learn the basics of the skill from instructors.
The Zvezdny snowpark is famous throughout the region. It is equipped with various figures, apparatus and jumps that riders will appreciate.
In addition to skiing activities, in Zvezdny you can go fishing, ice skating, cross-country skiing through the forest, try out snowmobiles on a safari, play billiards or bowling. A residential building and guest houses have been built on the territory of the center, where you can stay for a couple of days to breathe in plenty of clean air and relax. There are restaurants and cafes, a barbecue area.
Ski resort “Kandry-kul”
On the shore of Lake Kandy-Kul, the ski center “Kandry-Kul” is located. Here you will find 3 slopes. The length of the first two is 400 and 500 meters, and the third is reserved for tubing lovers. An Austrian-made chairlift with a capacity of about 600 people/hour takes you to the top. The tubing slope is equipped with a support-free lift. There is lighting.
The trails in Kandy-kul are very wide (30-40 m) and well visible, which ensures the safety of the descent. The slopes are very well maintained thanks to the work of snowcats. The ski season lasts from November to April. Below are prices in Kuandry-kul for the winter season 2017/2018.

The complex is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. At the top of the mountain there is an observation deck with a cafe, which offers a wonderful view. There is a ski equipment rental service, secure parking, and a video surveillance system. In addition to skiing, guests of the center will find many other entertainments here: snowmobile trains, ice skating and tubing.
Ski resort “Krasny Klyuch”
Ski resort Krasny Klyuch is a place for unassuming people. It is located 100 km from the capital of Bashkiria, in the village of Krasny Klyuch, which is famous for its mineral water. The base is not very well known to a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts; mainly the local population relaxes here.
There is one track for skiing, which is well lit at night. But! The snowcat tracks never touched the snow-covered hill. Therefore, only extreme sports enthusiasts can ride here. But all dangerous places are marked, which creates a certain degree of safety. The route stretches for 840 meters.
Beginners who have more or less mastered their skiing skills will be able to improve their technique well on the slopes of the Red Key.
The complex is equipped with a drag lift.
There are instructors who will teach you basic techniques for controlling skis or boards.
Equipment can be rented at a rental office, but the choice is limited. You can have a snack in a small cafe located in the trailer.
Ski complex “Kush-Tau”
Near the city of Sterlitamak there is the Kush-Tau ski center. There are 3 tracks for skiers and one tubing track:
- The main route is an 800-meter descent of different inclinations, here you can go straight down to the rope tow.
- The training route has a simple and short descent with a good rollout. Leads directly to the base buildings. There is a designated area for children to ride.
- The northern route runs through the forest and is steep. This is an ideal slope for training.

The total length of the slopes is 2.5 km, and the height difference on them varies within 180 m. The slopes are equipped with 4 rope tows of different lengths. All trails are treated with snow groomers.
On the territory of the base there is a rental point, a cafe, a bathhouse, a sauna, a gym, and discos are held in the evenings.
Ski resort “Mratkino”
The Mratkino ski complex occupies the mountain of the same name in the Southern Urals, whose height is about 800 meters. During the period of perestroika, the resort fell into disrepair and was transferred to the Metallurgical Plant, after which a serious reconstruction was carried out. In 2010, the center was donated to the Republic of Bashkortostan. Now we see it in a modern updated form. "Mratkino" has become one of the popular places among fans of active sports.
Mratkino is closest to Magnitogorsk - 90 km, the distance from Ufa and Chelyabinsk is 264 and 303 km, respectively.
The total length of the slopes at Mratkino is 11 km with a height difference of 300 meters and a slope of 13-70%.
Trails and lifts
- The giant slalom course on the northern slope, its length is 1250 m, and the elevation difference is almost 300 m. The slope is 12.5-75%.
- The giant slalom course of the southern slope, its length is 1 km, with a height difference of 196 m, a slope of 12-35%
- The giant slalom and downhill course is 1 km long, with a height difference of 196 m, and a slope of 12-35%
- The track for a special slalom stretches for 900 m, with a height difference of 195 m, and a slope of 12-70%
- Children's track. The length is 300 m, the drop is 15 m, and the slope is 5%.
Guests are served by 4 ski lifts:
- 2 chairlifts are installed on the Northern and Southern slopes of the mountain
- 1 rope tow 900 m long on the Southern slope
- 1 children's rope tow, 300 m long, located on the children's training track on the southern slope of the mountain.
Lighting is installed on all routes. The slopes are treated with snow groomers and, if necessary, snow cannons are turned on. Experienced instructors work here who teach both children and adults. You can pick up equipment at the rental point.
In addition to the ski slopes, there is a 10 km long cross-country ski track.
Guests of the complex can stay at camp sites located next to Mratkino. You can rent an apartment or house in Beloretsk or stay in a hotel.

In addition to skiing, you can visit a sports club, swimming pool, shooting range, and gym. Various holidays and events are often held here.

Ski resort “Omshanik”
On the slopes of Mount Kardygan there is the Omshanik ski complex. Experienced skiers pay attention to this resort; there are no easy trails here. The surface is not treated with snowcats. In Omshanik there are 2 trails, blue and black marked.

The black run is intended for experienced skiers; its slope is 42 degrees and its length is 800 meters.
The blue slope is suitable for advanced skiers and amateurs; its slope is 28 degrees and its length is 1200 meters. The blue route passes through a forest belt.
Both tracks have night lighting. A rope tow takes you to the top. The downside is that there is no equipment rental service.

If you decide to relax with your family, take your children with you. They will be interested in visiting the mini-zoo, which is located on the territory of the stables. There are rabbits, goats, and horses that little guests can feed and pet. Those interested can take several riding lessons.
Those who want to stay longer at the resort can stay at the Sports Hotel or rent a room or guest house on their own. You can eat in a cafe or in communal kitchens.
The Pavlovsky Park ski resort is located among the forests of the Pavlovsk reservoir - 120 km from Ufa. The cleanest air, beautiful nature, coupled with active recreation give a boost of energy for many days to come.
Ski resort “Pavlovsky Park”
The complex has 4 tracks for skiers and snowboarders. The length of the route varies from 800 to 1200 meters with a height difference of up to 140 meters. A cable car takes you up the mountain. At night, skiing is available on only 1 slope. The trails are prepared by snowcats and meet modern requirements.
If you have never skied before, experienced trainers can teach you the basic techniques. A full set of ski equipment is available for rental. The prices here are quite affordable.
On the territory of the center there is a hotel that offers guests rooms from standard class to luxury class.
Pavlovsky Park is ready to offer many more entertainments: tubing and ice skating, winter fishing, snowmobile safaris, and airplane flights. And what wonderful festivities take place during the New Year holidays! Everything that is offered in Pavlovsky Park has a good level of service and comfort.
Ski complex “Uyazy-Tau”
“Uyazy-Tau” is not just a ski resort, it is a full-fledged year-round active recreation complex. “Uyazy-Tau” is located near the village of Oktyabrsky in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The complex has 6 trails.
Trails for beginners
- Route U- This is a training route, which is intended for those who have just started skiing for the first time. Instructors teach here. The route is flat.
- Route No. 3– a slope for ski lovers and beginner athletes, gentle enough to slide down the mountain at low speed and have time to admire the beauty of nature.
Trails for experienced skiers
- Route No. 1– a slope with natural relief, very wide and steep, there is a section passing through the forest. The length of route No. 1 is 750 meters, the elevation difference is 145 meters.
- Route No. 2– imagines a straight slope with natural relief, very high speeds develop here. Length – 800 meters, height difference 145 meters.
Trails for professionals
- Route No. 3c(Half-Pipe) is a half-pipe, the length of which is 200 m, width - 20 m, slope height - 7 meters. This track is served by a special snowcat designed to treat the surface of the halfpipe.
- Route No. 2c Designed for mogul and parallel mogul. Its length is 250 meters. The route is replete with natural obstacles - hills, it has good steepness and uniform snow cover.
- Route No. 1c equipped with three types of springboards - single, double, triple.
Snow groomers go out to the trails for processing every day. In the evening, lights are turned on on the roads. If necessary, snow is added with an artificial snowmaking system, this allows the season to open in November and close in mid-April.
There is a cable car system on the slopes - 2 rope tows and 1 baby lift.
In addition to alpine skiing and snowboarding, you can go tubing, skating and cross-country skiing in Uyazy-Tau. All equipment is available at the rental point. You can set up your equipment and have your equipment repaired at the service center.
Ski center "Metallurg-Magnitogorsk"
Next to the Abzakovo resort, next to Lake Bannoe, the Metallurg-Magnitogorsk ski center has been operating since 2003; it is only 40 km from Magnitogorsk. The resort quickly won the love of the local population, especially since there is plenty of entertainment here in both summer and winter. In 2010, Metallurg-Magnitogorsk received the title of “Best Ski Resort in Russia.”

54 0Today we were at the Krasny Klyuch ski resort on Pavlovka. There are a lot of people! It’s understandable - it’s the holidays, it’s not far from Ufa, and the weather was just great! I share photos, videos and prices (information on prices is current on 2016).
Who doesn’t know, the Krasny Klyuch GLC is located in the Nurimanovsky district of Bashkiria near the Pavlovsk reservoir. By car from Ufa you can get there in two ways - through Iglino and Krasnaya Gorka or through Blagoveshchensk (this is about 120 km).
I can’t say anything about the first road, but as for the second, starting from Blagoveshchensk, it is, of course, quite dangerous. There are a lot of sharp turns, and in winter it is not particularly cleaned. If it's icy, like today, it's generally fun. Well, okay, we're not talking about roads now :).
Update: in January-February 2016 the road was cleared 😉
Even upon approaching the ski slope, it became clear that people had moved away from the New Year's festivities and rushed into the fresh air. Cars stood along the side of the road because they did not fit in the parking lot.

Tubing, snowboards, alpine skiing– everything was completely dismantled. To rent something, you had to wait an hour, or even two. But the happy faces of the skiers said that it was worth it :).
Skiing in Krasny Klyuch: photos and prices (updated in 2016)
If you don’t want to wait, then it’s better to go to the opening (that’s what the rental guys told us). Unfortunately, there is no lighting here, so the GLC does not work for long - from 11 am to 6 pm.
By the way, when we were just planning to go to Krasny Klyuch, I couldn’t find it anywhere on the Internet equipment rental prices, but for some reason the GLC does not have an official website. That’s why I’m posting a photo with prices here, maybe someone will find it useful.

Trails.
There is only one track on the territory of the ski center, and it is mainly aimed at experienced beginners. The length of the route is 840 meters; there are descents and drops along the entire length of the route. But for those who have decided to try their hand at extreme sports for the first time, there is also a way out; you can begin to learn riding skills with an experienced instructor and off-piste, for example, in a quiet and beautiful forest, not far from the main route. For those who like to ski in the dark, the main track is well lit.
