One of the main joys of summer is relaxing on the shore of a lake or river, under the scorching sun at the height of the day or under the calm sunset sky. Relaxing and having fun on the beach is a great idea. However, you need to figure out which of them are beautiful and well-appointed enough, and most importantly, safe for health and comply with sanitary standards, in order to devote time to them. Below are the beaches where swimming is officially allowed in 2016.

A family beach where it’s good to spend time with children and a large group. This swimming area has not only an equipped beach, but also a children’s playground with an excellent environment, the “Barsky Domik” restaurant with a varied delicious menu, and even its own small zoo. Serebryany Bor lives up to its name: relaxing on the shore in a pine forest provides an incredible experience. Beach address – st. Tamanskaya, beach No. 2. The entrance is free.

This beach complex is intended not so much for a “casual” holiday, but for a purposeful trip to celebrate. There are parking lots, sports grounds, and several different cafes on the beach. The area is open from 11 to 22, admission is free.

In addition to the main complex, there are several additional ones. The Uletai beach occupies an area of two hectares and is perfectly equipped for corporate events, weddings, and large-scale receptions. The area is equipped with sun loungers, hammocks and sun loungers. There are also tents and hotel houses for visitors who come for a long time, sports courts and a water transport rental service. All this is quite expensive, but done at a high level.

There is also a beach for nudists nearby (they call themselves “naturalists”). This beach is hidden in the forest, and the uninitiated will have to try hard to get to it. Below you will find information on how to get there and what other nudist beaches there are in Moscow.

Located at Akademika Vinogradov St., 12. In recent years, local authorities have done a good job of improving the reservoir, updating the coastlines, restoring the embankment, and civilized benches and sun loungers, ladders and bridges appeared on the beach. To the delight of vacationers, there is free WiFi on the beach, boats and new catamarans are available for rent.

Swimming is temporarily prohibited due to inadequate water quality until satisfactory results are obtained again.

This beach is one of the most prestigious, one might say elite. Everything here is top class: excellent sand, a bar with a wide selection of drinks, there are establishments with cuisine from different parts of the world, from Italian to Eastern, plus a barbecue area. A special children's playground makes Beach Club an excellent choice for families with children. There are large stages where there is a constant disco with excellent DJs and a diverse selection of music. Finally, the yacht club provides not only yachts, but also boats, scooters and skateboards, as well as everything you need for windsurfing. Address: Leningradskoe highway, 39, Vodny Stadion metro station, also accessible from st. Voikovskaya.

This small beach is just a small strip of sand near the shore of the lake. However, it has everything you need for a good and safe holiday. There are places for changing clothes, sun protection and benches, plus there is a lifeguard tower. There are no cafes or restaurants, but drinks and food can be bought at kiosks.

You can get to the beach by electric train from the Kievsky railway station (get off at the Vostryakovo stop), from the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station by bus No. 66 (get off at the terminus), as well as by bus No. 781 from General Dorokhov Street or bus No. 809 from Peredelkino.

Recreation area "Levoberezhny"

Another free recreation area on the Khimki Reservoir. The choice of services here is quite simple; in particular, it is not possible to rent water transport. But there are grounds for sports games, you can play football or volleyball or throw a frisbee. A special “children’s” swimming place is convenient and safe.

Beach address – Coastal passage, 5-7. You can get there from the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station by bus No. 65, 138 or 739, get off at the Soyuz Hotel stop. There is also minibus No. 138, which goes directly to the reservoir. Access to the beach is free.

Another popular vacation spot in Zelenograd is the large city pond located on Central Avenue. Attractions include a comfortable grassy beach, cafes and eateries. There are areas for active games and a first aid station. You can get there from the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station by minibus No. 476, get off at the “Palace of Culture” stop.

Black Lake (Zelenograd)

In Zelenograd, one can also note Black Lake, located in the 6th microdistrict. This is a small beach, surrounded by tree plantings and equipped with toilets and changing areas. There is no trading infrastructure there, so you need to take drinks and food with you. There is a children's playground in a modern style and a special place for children to bathe. You can get there from the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station by bus No. 400 and get off at the first station in Zelenograd, after which you walk through the forest for about five minutes.

School Lake (Zelenograd)

Located in 10 microdistrict of Zelenograd. You can get there from the Rechnoy Vokzal metro station by minibus 431m (to the Oktyabrskaya stop). The drive will take quite a long time, a little over an hour. The area of the lake is 7.2 hectares, the depth is about 2 meters. The beaches are sandy, and there are boat and catamaran rentals.

Beach at White Lake

A simple but well-equipped beach near White Lake offers a sandy area near the shore, a football and tennis court. The beach facilities are modest: there are changing areas and sun visors. There is a rescue service post. You can buy food and drinks at the stalls. Boat rental is available; One hour's ride costs 250 rubles.

You can travel by any transport through the village of Kosino from the Vykhino metro station. You can also walk from the Kosino railway stop (near the traffic police station) to the village of Kosino (distance about 1 km). Motorists should drive along Novo-Ukhtomskoye Highway, pass Muromskaya Street and go to the parking lot of the Lokomotiv FC sports base. Entrance to the beach is free.

Also, according to unconfirmed information, swimming is allowed in:

  • Bolshoi Garden Pond (Bolshaya Akademicheskaya St. 38a);
  • Stroginskaya floodplain (Tallinskaya street, Stroginsky Bay of the Moscow River).

Nudist beaches

Moscow has a sufficient selection of nudist beaches: there are officially three of them. One of them is the aforementioned Serebryany Bor. You can get there from the Polezhaevskaya metro station on route No. 190, go to the final stop. Then you need to get off the Stroginsky Bridge and walk through the poplar forest, and in 10 minutes you will be there. This area does not have the usual beach amenities, but there is a catering system with waiters (let's just say right away that they wear clothes here). Entrance costs 100 rubles.

Another nudist beach is located on the Stroginskaya floodplain. You can get there from the Shchukinskaya metro station by buses No. 638 or 743 or by minibus 696 to the Vodnoski Stadium stop. From there you need to walk about 20 minutes along the water.

The third nudist beach (at the Lyuberetsky quarry) is not equipped with any amenities at all; you need to take everything with you, from sun loungers to food and even drinking water. You can get there from the Lyublino or Kuzminki metro stations by minibus No. 174.

We wish you a pleasant, hot holiday on the beach that will please your soul... and your body.

How to behave correctly in a pond?

To ensure that your vacation brings only positive emotions, you must follow a number of simple rules.

1. Swimming is only permitted in permitted areas. This way you can be sure that the bottom has been thoroughly checked and cleaned, and that there are no dangerous microbes in the water.
2. Do not go into water deeper than your waist unless you know how to swim. It is also not recommended to swim behind buoys or special fences.
3. Remember that cold water can cause cramps. Therefore, you need to go into it slowly. The water temperature should be no lower than 1719 ºС, and you can swim for no longer than 20 minutes.
4. Do not go into the water after prolonged exposure to the sun. With a sharp change in temperature, a reflex contraction of muscles can occur, which is fraught with dangerous consequences.
5. Do not swim while intoxicated.
6. Do not dive into water in unprepared places, such as cliffs, piers or boats.
7. Do not swim close to a ship or boat: you may be pulled under its bottom or overwhelmed by a high wave.
8. Do not use air mattresses or inner tubes unless you know how to swim.

Be attentive and careful when relaxing near the water, and then summer weekends will give you only pleasant emotions and a boost of energy for a long time.

Reservoirs of Moscow, waiting for bathers and bathers

In May, Rospotrebnadzor inspected Moscow's water bodies, examining the quality of their water. Divers examined the bottom of ponds and reservoirs, checking for the presence of waste and construction debris, and specialists took water samples. The research results showed which bodies of water are suitable for safe diving and long-term swimming.

There are more natural reservoirs in Moscow suitable for sunbathing - 125 . But you can only swim in 9 of them.

Lake Beloye and the Stroginskaya floodplain were rightfully recognized as the cleanest. But, on the contrary, those affected by fishermen who often spend their winter leisure here are the Beach Club, Serebryany Bor and Meshchera. They have to be put in order.

We remind you that the capital's beaches welcome visitors every day from 9:00 to 22:00 from June 1 to September 1. But these are just formalities - they officially open when the water reaches 18 degrees.

So, Moscow’s reservoirs, where you can not only bask in the sun on the beach, but also swim:

  • Lake Beloe
  • Levoberezhny beach
  • Meshchera (Meshcherskoye)
  • Pinery
  • Stroginskaya floodplain
  • Troparevo
  • beach complex "Beach Club"
  • Big Academic Pond
  • Shkolnoe and Black lakes
  • Large city pond in Zelenograd

By the way, this year the safety of vacationers will be ensured by 23 search and rescue stations and a diving team.

And modern video surveillance systems will allow you to react with lightning speed and come to the rescue.

You can't swim in Moscow fountains

The number of fountains in Moscow is growing faster than the number of reservoirs where swimming is allowed. Therefore, in order not to travel far, people prefer to cool off directly in the fountains.

In Spain and Italy, it has even become a tradition to climb into the fountain together after another hot football match.

Attention, Rospotrebnadzor prohibits swimming in Moscow fountains.

  • Firstly, the water circulates in them in a closed circle.
  • Secondly, the water is not purified.

This means that if a dog or a sick person swam there before you, all the microbes will remain in this water.

Previously wild beaches have been landscaped and turned into comfortable recreation areas with places for fishing and barbecue, outdoor exercise equipment, showers and changing cabins, sun loungers, playgrounds and benches. The only negative is that swimming is prohibited:

  • Khoroshevsky Straightening Canal, Novikov-Priboy embankment
  • Karamyshevskaya embankment (Moskvoretsky natural and historical park)
  • Kirovograd floodplain from the Moscow Ring Road along the street. Isakovsky (natural and historical park "Moskvoretsky")
  • left bank of the Moscow River on Zhivopisnaya Street (Moskvoretsky natural-historical park)
  • southern side of the Upper Kuzminsky Pond (natural and historical park "Kuzminki-Lublino")

Capital reservoirs: plans for the future

According to the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin, at present there are not enough swimming and recreation areas in Moscow - some areas are completely left without water and beach pleasures. On the eve of the season, he set a task for the relevant departments and district authorities to organize beaches.

It is possible that this summer we will be able to enjoy new improved reservoirs with clean water. For example, now the Angarsk and Ostankino ponds, as well as the pond in Kuskovo, are under reconstruction.

Year after year, our capital is “growing”; its possessions include impressive areas of what were once green areas near Moscow - in the near future, places for recreation and swimming may be equipped there too.

As you can see, in Moscow in the summer of 2016 you can find excellent beaches and clean reservoirs in which you can swim. So the hot season for those who, for one reason or another, stays in the capital will be no less impressive. And there will still be travel, you just have to want it!

Large garden pond

Even last summer, during the heat, hundreds of Koptevsky janitors and construction workers flocked to the shore of the Bolshoi Garden Pond. Dark-skinned men in family shorts not only swam, but also washed right there, scaring away the rest of the vacationers. But recently security appeared on the territory, and entrance to the beach became paid - 50 rubles (children under 12 years old and pensioners - free). This was enough for the migrants to disappear. Girls began to sunbathe topless.

pros

The beach is very clean, there are wooden sun loungers, two beach volleyball courts, a dozen tennis tables, drinking water fountains, a stationary toilet with the ability to wash your hands. There are also rescuers - they make sure that no one drowns. There are two children's playgrounds. You can sit either on the sand or on the grass. There are trees, so you can find shade. There is also rental available. Renting a boat costs 500 rubles per hour, a pedal boat - 200. However, you need to leave 1000 rubles as a deposit.

Minuses

There is a cafe, but it is not open. Therefore, bring your own food and drinks. The same, by the way, as sports equipment - a volleyball, tennis rackets and a net. In July, Rospotrebnadzor temporarily banned swimming in the Bolshoi Garden Pond, but the public is still splashing around.

How to get there?

To the Voykovskaya metro station, then by trolleybus No. 57 or minibus No. 661 to the Nauka Stadium stop. Or to the Petrovsko-Razumovskaya metro station and then to the same stop “Nauka Stadium” by buses No. 179, 114, 204 or minibuses No. 132, 191, 661, 658.

Recreation area "Levoberezhnaya"

This recreation area on the canal named after. Moscow is perhaps one of the most comfortable in the capital.

pros

Fairly clean water (swimming is officially allowed) and the shore. The beach is quite extensive, so it is not crowded even on nice weekends. There is a large children's playground and swings. There is a paid trampoline (200 rubles for 20 minutes) and the opportunity to play table tennis for free - rackets will be given to you. For fitness lovers - horizontal bars and parallel bars. There are rescuers on duty at the tower, and they patrol the water area on a boat. There is a shady park near the beach and if you are tired of the heat, you can take a walk there. There is also a forest - you can move there and organize a picnic with barbecue. There is a pretty decent cafe on the beach. Water (0.5 liters) - 50 rubles, beer (0.5 liters) - from 80, salad - 100, kebab (200 grams) - from 180 to 320 rubles, depending on the type of meat. There is a first aid station here, open daily from 9 am to 9 pm. According to the nurse on duty here, vacationers rarely come in and mostly with minor cuts - their feet are injured on sharp stones. The beach also has toilet stalls and a fountain where you can wash your feet.

Wild beach on the Khimki reservoir

This is the only undeveloped site on the eastern shore of the Khimki Reservoir and is very popular with local residents.

pros

A sandy beach with a beautiful view of the water area of the reservoir. Hanging over the water is the elite residential complex “Yacht City”, where these yachts are parked. From time to time they go out for a “walk” - an impressive sight! On the beach there are benches standing in the shade of trees. The bottom of the reservoir is sandy. Nearby is the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo forest park, where you can, after sunbathing and swimming, go to barbecue at special picnic points.

Minuses

The beach is wild, so there are no changing cabins or toilets. For these functions, vacationers are forced to use dense thickets. There is no cafe, but drinks and food can be purchased in advance at the store on the ground floor of the nearest building. Swimming is officially prohibited, but people actively swim. True, it’s better not to swim too far: reckless drivers on jet skis like to frolic near the yacht parking lot - and at any moment they’ll get caught.
