Receiving the title of Seeker of Truth and accompanying the guardian. When Tyr was killed, Irgrim decided to give his artifact to the most worthy of the vrykul, but for thousands of years he was unable to find a suitable suitor. Irgrim took refuge in the sanctuary, protected by seals, and waited for someone who could enter inside and challenge him.

When the Burning Legion began an invasion through the Broken Isles, a paladin began searching for the artifact, destined to become the new leader of the Knights of the Silver Hand. The hero was able to pass the tests, including the battle with Irgrim, and took possession of the ancient artifact.

Irgrim's Trials

After the fall of Tyr, Irgrim the Seeker of Truth helped his brothers in Tirisfal adapt to life in the new world. Knowing that his relatives fled to the north, he went in search of them in order to transfer his weapons to the most worthy of them. Eventually the road led him to Stormheim, where he met the mighty descendants of his race. From these he gathered a group of applicants.

Irgrim built an arena on a stone island. He announced to his brethren that he was looking for a successor, strong in body and spirit, with a heart devoid of vices. To gain the right to own his weapons, applicants had to pass tests. Many berserkers and dragon riders accepted Irgrim's challenge, but all suffered death. For many years Irgrim carried out his tests, and finally the flow of applicants dried up.

Irgrim was disappointed, but this did not break his will. He built the sanctuary of Tyre and doomed himself to imprisonment, waiting fully armed for the true defender to appear. The wards placed at the entrance would incinerate anyone who tried to open the door with cleansing flames. Only one whose heart is pure and whose will is strong could contain the flame. It was just such a warrior that Irgrim was waiting for.

Saga of Gorvold

One of the most famous contenders for the Guardian of Truth was the vrykul Gorvold, who arrived in Stormheim from Northrend. But he, like everyone else, could not pass the test and was forced to return home. His wanderings became a saga that spread among the vrykul.

Gorvold Ironbrow was a great warrior, one of the few who proudly stood against the dangers of days long past. He won victory after victory thanks to his skill, as well as the powerful artifacts of antiquity that he collected. Wandering through the forbidden lands of the Storm Peaks, Gorvold learned about a shield that belonged to the warrior Tyr. The shield became his obsession, and the warrior scoured the entire continent in search of this artifact.

Having explored the forgotten battlefields in the north, Gorvold learned that the owner of the shield, along with Tyr's detachment, had gone south, escaping the turmoil of the collapsing titan empire. Gorvold built a mighty ship and set sail. Gorvold followed south, and neither storm nor sea monsters they couldn't make him go astray. He crossed the continent, looking for the smallest clues to reconstruct the course of events of a long-past battle.

He discovered the vrykul, living a miserable existence as exiles after Ymiron issued his decree. They did not dare to appear in the possessions of the fallen guardian and his worst enemy, but they treated those places with reverence. Gorvold discovered that the trail did not end at these ruins, but led further. After the great battle, the defender of Tyre continued on his way. Gorvold did the same.

No one knows where Gorvold eventually got to or what he found. It is only known that he returned empty-handed, forever losing his mind from the failure that befell him. He only said that he could not pass Irgrim's test. Since then, Gorvold began to rush into battle with a fury only typical of a berserker. The once skilled fighter was overcome by reckless fury and eventually fell in battle, taking his secrets to the grave.

Receipt

The source of information in this section is the supplement Legion to World of Warcraft.

When Lord Maxwell Tyrosus invited the paladin to choose an artifact that the order would search for first, the hero chose the ancient shield created by Tyr. After the conclusion of the Northrend campaign, Orik Trueheart decided to devote his life to studying the history of Tyr. He found evidence that in ancient times Tyr forged a powerful shield. Now the Servants of the Sun have joined the paladins, and there is a real opportunity to find the lost artifact. Tyross suggested that the hero contact Orik for details.

Orik stood nearby with Tahu the Wise Wind. The dwarf said that the source of information about the shield was the Vrykul saga. Tyr once created a shield for his greatest warrior, and Tahu, able to speak with the spirits of the departed, could help question the protagonist of this saga. Orik was glad that the hero decided to join the search. The Vrykul warrior was named Gorvold, and he was buried on Barrage Hill, which was located in the Howling Fjord. Tahu could find the right grave, and after a small ritual, a conversation would take place there.

Howling Fjord

The barrier hill was located in the southwestern part of the fjord. When the hero arrived, Tahu and Orik were already located near the fire on the edge of the hill. The dwarf handed over the saga to the new assistant so that he could read it himself. In the saga it was written that Gorvold went in search of a shield that belonged to the warrior Tyr, and spent a lot of time on it. But he couldn't get the shield because he didn't pass some test. Having read to the end, the hero asked Taha to begin the ritual.

Tahu replied that he was mistaken in assessing how long ago the events of the saga were. He needed more time to prepare for the ritual. Tauren gave the hero an enchanted stone set to a scroll with a saga. The hero had to walk through the vrykul graves and use the stone to find which one belonged to the author. Tahu clarified that the author's ancestors or descendants are not suitable. After several unsuccessful attempts the hero discovered the required grave, and Orik and Tahu caught up with him.

The Seer began the ritual, asking Orik to focus all his will on the spirit. The ghost of Gorvold appeared before them, saying that he died to get rid of shame. He asked why the guests were bothering him, and Orik demanded to know about the shield. Gorvold, forced to answer, said that he had found the sanctuary of the warrior Tyr in Stormheim. Vrykul was unable to enter, but tried again and again until the pain took over. He returned home in shame and decided to wash it off with someone else's blood. Orik promised that he would complete what Gorvold had started, and Tahu granted the vrykul deliverance by releasing him. When the ritual was completed, the tauren said that he was returning to the Netherlight Temple to report the success to the Conclave. Orik decided to return to Dalaran and asked the hero to visit him there.

Having met the hero in Dalaran, Orik stated that he had already heard about the island in Stormheim. There were rumors in the tavern that a certain great warrior had managed to penetrate the tomb of the vrykul king. Orik was confident that this was exactly what they were looking for, and offered to fly to the island riding on the hippogriffs of the Argent Crusade. Kato, a friend of the dwarf and a capable healer, was supposed to meet them right on the island. Orik warned that the sanctuary would be protected by the power of Tyr, if Gorvold's words were anything to go by.

Island of the Abandoned Shield

When they reached the Island of the Abandoned Shield, the blood elf Kato was indeed waiting for them. Orik greeted his friend and stated that he felt the presence of an artifact. A vrykul woman emerged from the shrine, accompanied by a storm dragon. She screamed about the robbers and demanded that they get out of the sacred land. Orik, Kato and the hero attacked her and the dragon. When they were victorious, the doors of the sanctuary swung open, revealing troops of ghostly defenders.

Making their way deeper into the sanctuary, they found ancient scrolls that told the story of Irgrim. When they reached the mysterious glowing door, Orik discovered an inscription on a sign that they must withstand the “gaze” of the door. The dwarf invited the hero to try, and the door emitted fiery rays that tried to destroy the applicant. But the paladin, using his abilities, was able to endure the pain. The doors opened and they entered the hall where the Altar of the Guardian of Truth was located.

They were met by Irgrim the Seeker of Truth himself, who was the warrior of Tyr. He understood that the hero was able to open all the doors, and was ready to subject him to the final test. Irgrim had been waiting for a worthy opponent for a very long time and challenged the hero to a fight to make sure that he had the will, strength and stamina to wield the shield. Standing next to the ancient vrykul was the ghostly figure of the runecaster Griselda.

The hero, accompanied by Orik and Kato, announced that he was ready to test Irgrim. A battle began, in which Irgrim was helped by Griselda, who called on ice magic. Finally, the hero and his friends were able to defeat the warrior Tyr, and Irgrim knelt. He said that Tyr would have chosen the hero as his protector if he had lived, and handed over the Guardian of Truth. Irgrim wished that the power of the shield would help the paladin protect Azeroth from enemies. Along with the shield, the hero also received an ancient sword called the Oathkeeper. Irgrim added that he was tired and glad to have the opportunity to hand over his post, after which he turned to stone statue. A satisfied Orik and a tired Kato returned to Dalaran to Maxwell Tyros, and the hero, clutching a new weapon in his hands, followed them.

Kuvaldych continues to share news about patch 7.1.5 and it’s time for the Fighters Guild! In this post you will find information about new bosses, interesting additions and other goodies of this very hardcore content.

But let's start from the beginning.

How to get into the fighter's guild?
It's simple, you still need the Bloodied Invitation. Old invitations are no longer valid, you will have to issue a new one. There are two ways to get Bloodied Invitation in Patch 7.1.5:

  • 1. Complete daily missions and go through dungeons, hoping to find the treasured paper inside the bags.
  • 2. Go to the Isle of the Abandoned Shield in Stormheim and fight the elite evil vrykul there! Who exactly -

  • still a secret.

Fighter's Gold
Brawler's Gold is a new currency in the Brawler's Guild, which is used to purchase cool themed items, as well as access to Brawls. There are two main ways to get fighter gold:

  • 1. Win boss battles and receive currency as a reward;
  • 2. Bet on winning and win if you guess the winner correctly.

In addition, some gold can be obtained by completing introductory quests.

Items in the Brawler's Guild
As I wrote above, you can buy more items that are simply hilarious and funny:

  • Chipped dice (100 GB) – activates the “random battles” mode for 30 minutes.
  • High Stakes Player Contract (100 ZB) – enables “stakes” mode for 30 minutes.
  • Bloody Angel Figurine (250 GB) – provides access to the cemetery inside the Brawler's Guild for 30 minutes.
  • Brawler Potion Launcher (500 GB) – places a barrel that gives all players free potions for 30 minutes.
  • Free Drink Voucher (1000 GB) – Buys free drink for all players for 2 minutes.
  • VIP room rental form (1000 ZB) – opens access to the VIP box for everyone for 10 minutes!

Brawls
For fighter's gold, you can also buy brawl cards, each of which costs 500 GB. The difference between brawls and regular boss battles is that ALL players in the queue take part in the battles! A kind of super-mix =) Here are the encounters available:

Brew Battle– players compete with the pandarens to see who can drag the cart to the center of the arena the fastest!
Guardian of Sorrow- a deer that chooses a target and pursues it, scattering along the way all the players who did not get out of the way. If a deer overtakes the player, he “hangs” him by the antlers!

Mazharin– a deadly cat spirit.

Mindbreaker Gzzazh- a monstrous faceless one.

Penguin Invasion– the whole arena becomes very, very slippery.
Fight 08- details unknown.
Senya– hungry and huge!
Beasts of Stranglethorn- a whole horde of animals from Stranglethorn, including raptors, gorillas, panthers, crocolisks and King Bangalash himself.

New bosses in patch 7.1.5
The list of Brawler's Guild bosses has not been updated for a long time. And in WoW: Legion, Blizzard took a step forward: a bunch of new opponents, battles with which will bring you a lot of fun. Added bosses from rank 1 to rank 7! Below is a video of the fights:

1st rank

2nd rank

3 rank

4 rank

5 rank

6 rank

7th rank

I think you've noticed the True Final Boss - Chaika! Rank 7 and the evil Guldan's Fury... this is no joke!

The strange creature also stands out from the general background, however, rather because of its model with the absence of something, rather than with its presence.

Awards

Well, why do all this if not for the sake of rewards? For fun, of course, but rewards will never be superfluous either. Blizzard tried their best and the Legion version of the Brawler's Guild is well worth playing through - both from the point of view of a collector of mounts/pets, and from the point of view of a lover of achievements and titles.

Shirts
For defeating the most difficult and rare bosses like the Seagull or the Strange Creature, you can get special shirts:

Fighting Ring of Power Strike
The Fighter's Ring of Powerful Impact is a ring with acceptable characteristics and the ability to teleport directly to the entrance to the Fighter's Guild. With the teleport, getting inside will be much easier and more convenient!

So, friends, the Battle for Azeroth prepatch is just around the corner, but with the arrival of the new addition, you may lose access to some achievements, mounts, transmog and other features. But we'll tell you what you need to do before Battle for Azeroth launches!

First, you will need to knock on the door of the fighter's guild, here you can get several pets, a lot of shirts, and also a cool mount - the Majestic Basilisk of the fighter. All battles are quite simple, you can complete them with an Antorus normal. To gain access to the Brawler's Guild, you need to knock out a bloody invitation from mobs on the Island of the Abandoned Shield in Stormheim, either buy it at an auction or the black market, or receive invitations from a friend who has rank 7.

Mage Tower Artifact Skin

We'll be returning to regular weapons in Battle for Azeroth, and your Artifact has skins that won't be available, so I recommend you get them now! Here is a video using an example of a frost mage:

Coloring for mythic +15

Next is the look that is worth getting, or rather the coloring for your artifact. This is a reward for completing a mythic key +15 or higher on time. This is a recolor for the line of skins that you receive for completing the Balance of Power quest chain, which begins in your stronghold.

An obvious and incredible item to complete is grinding mounts, Infernal from the Night Citadel, Living Infernal Core (any difficulty with a low drop chance) and Villainous Hellfire Core (drops from Mythic, 5% drop). With the release of the prepatch, the drop will change for the worse and will be 1%, so it’s time to visit old Guldan and knock out the mount from him. This also applies to the Decorated Urzul mount (which drops from Mythic Argus).

Achievement "Hero of his time and on the cutting edge"

The achievement “Hero of His Time: Argus the Enslaved” is given for defeating Argus in heroic mode. If you conquer him in Mythic, you will receive the achievement "On the Edge of the Blade." When the new expansion arrives, you will no longer be able to get these achievements, so you better hurry!

Purple Spellwing

When you defeat Argus in heroic or mythic mode, you will be able to obtain the quest item, “Blood of the Enslaved,” after completing the chain you will receive the coveted mount. In BFA this possibility will disappear.

Achievement and title “The Chosen One”

You can get it in Trial of Valor on Mythic difficulty without losing the buff; in short, you need to survive the battle with three bosses without dying. This achievement will be removed in patch 8.0.

Reaching First Aid

Having achieved First Aid and “Field Doctor”, you should hurry up with this profession, since it will unfortunately be removed in the Battle for Azeroth!

Latest Elite PVP Transmog Sets

Since current PVP kits will no longer be available, you should pay attention to them right now.

Ashran's achievements

In patch 8.0, Ashran is also leaving us... So if you want to get achievements with him, you should return there soon.

Patch 8.0 will also remove the Shore of the Ancients, so if you want the achievements from this battleground, then you should queue up now.

Another thing relevant to preparing for the new expansion, especially if your class does not have waterwalking, is getting the Strider mount. We will need it, because in the new locations there are areas with water, and since at the very beginning we will not have flying mounts, we will really need them.

Endless Flask

It is not so significant, but very useful in the future, but also now. We will need this item for leveling, since current infusions will be posted with a hefty price tag. To get it, we need respect from the Legion's Bane Army and 7.5 thousand void shards to purchase it from the Battle Mage Katlin at the Pinnacle of Deliverance.

Leveling up your reputation with fishermen in the Legion

Another thing that becomes more difficult with the release of the new addition is fishing. On the broken islands you can find NPCs to level up your reputation in order to buy a couple of toys and even a mount.

Another thing worth doing is draining the legion's resources if you still keep them in the bank. Since with the release of the add-on they will cease to be relevant and lose value.

Preserving time-warped signs

You should save up time warped tokens as this is due to the fact that every new update adds another one to Time Travel, which means that when BFA comes out we will have Draenor Time Travel and if it follows the previous travels, then it should a mount associated with it will appear, so if you want to get it right away, then you need to take care of the signs.

I think that's all I wanted to talk about, I hope that you found something new for yourself. Good luck in the game!

Learning to fly on the Broken Isles

Highmountain: Ironhorn Enclave

Why is it difficult to get here? You will need to walk along a narrow path leading to the very top of the mountain. It is quite easy to lose your way, and the climbs can be very steep. Make sure you have reliable transportation and warm clothing. (Hint: there's a lot of snow there.)

Start at the Thunder Totem, turn north and go up the hill. At its top, turn sharply to the right, thereby avoiding a fight with monsters, and move along the right bank of the river. A little to the left there will be a wooden bridge over the river. Cross it, take a right and go uphill along the path. You will pass under the flags, and the snow-covered road itself will twist left and right. In some areas the passages will be very narrow and the climbs will be steep. But you still need to continue your way up until you reach an observation point next to the abyss. You will see a wooden bridge that clearly needs repairs. Take courage and carefully walk along it. Once on the other side, turn slightly to the left and begin your descent. After a while you will need to turn sharply to the right and follow a rocky road to a small village. Turn left and, after crossing the source, follow the path to the top. You are probably pretty tired and chilled now, but the air path is open! Click on the green exclamation mark and rejoice that you now have the opportunity to comfortably descend from the top through the air. Congratulations! You have found the Ironhorn Enclave!

Highmountain: Strelka's Shelter

Why is it difficult to get here?? This is the stronghold of the Hunter class, and if your character belongs to another class, then you will be teleported from here just a few seconds after you open this area. Apparently, hunters don't really like guests.

To find the Gunner's Rest, use the Ernestway Air Trail. Turn right, go up the hill, and continue up and left past the Pine Rocks Downstalkers and Sooty-hoofed Hillwalkers. In front of you will be the entrance to the cave. Turn right and continue climbing. On the left you will see a river. Cross it and emerge onto the road leading up the hill to the Gunner's Shelter. Non-hunter characters will be automatically teleported to Earnestway's air path. And yet the result was worth it! You have found a place where hunters gather... to be alone.

Stormheim: Watcher's Rock

Why is it difficult to get here?? It's an island, so you'll have to swim. You will also have to overcome high rocks. Nothing special.

Begin your journey from the Storm Foothills Air Trail, heading east to the cliffs. You need to cross Storm's End and then turn left. On the way to the easternmost point of the cliffs, you will see a narrow, steep path leading to the shore. A group of young sharks will be swimming in the water, but, fortunately, they are well-fed and not aggressive. You can swim yourself or summon a water vehicle. Swim over to the island on the right and you'll reach Watchman's Rock. Congratulations! You have found a small island. Did you forget the flag?

Stormheim: Isle of the Abandoned Shield

Why is it difficult to get here?? Not everyone loves to swim (see above).

Set sail from Watchman's Rock and head for the eastern shore of the Island of the Abandoned Shield. The air trail point is located right on the shore. If you want to explore the island, you can avoid encountering groups of elite monsters by using grappling hooks. Always be on the lookout for this dangerous place for those who lack courage (or good equipment). It even appears here
