- we turn off the internal combustion engine, open the hood;
- pull off the plug from the air flow sensor;
- we unscrew the clamps of the injector pipe, disconnect the corrugation from the VF body;
- we unscrew the screws of the upper cover of the VF case, there are only six of them, remove the cover;
- remove the filter element itself from the body;
- if dirt and dust has accumulated in the lower part of the case, the plastic box should be dismantled in order to rinse it;
- there is a sponge inside the lower case at the bottom left, if it gets dirty, it also needs to be changed;
- having cleaned the body of dirt, install a sponge filter, fix the plastic box in its place;
- install a new filter element;
- we fix the upper plastic cover with self-tapping screws;
- we put in place the branch pipe (corrugation), we connect the DMRV plug.
Replacement of the filter element Focus-2 restyling
