The fact is that there is no direct route from the airport to the mountains: the train follows one station to Adler, and then continues the journey not in the direction it followed from the airport, but in the opposite direction, bypassing the turn to the airport, going into the mountains. There are one or two such trains a day. If your arrival time coincides with the departure time of such a train, then use it. Otherwise, you will have to get off the train in Adler and wait for another train to go to Krasnaya Polyana. In this case, it is better to take a bus from the airport or from the Adler railway station.
