How to deal with this?

Excuse me, but I have JavaScript enabled!

If you are sure that JavaScript is supported by your browser and is currently allowed for this site, but you still see this message, then you can suggest the following to solve the problem:

  • Do nothing. If the search works, then you can tolerate this message, right?
  • Use a trusted browser. If you have a non-standard browser, we recommend using one of the ones we have tested. This search engine was tested under the browsers Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Konqueror, all of which showed full functionality.

You can also plot the route manually, armed with a map, pencil and ruler. But if you find yourself on the route planner page, then another, often more convenient option is possible - planning a route online, one of which is offered to you on our site.

There are two types of route planning: manual and automatic.

  • When laying manually, you put a number of points on the map that form an arbitrary route.
  • With automatic compilation, you need to specify the starting and ending points, and our service itself will plot the optimal route, calculating the shortest path taking into account traffic rules and the current traffic situation.

On the compiled route you will see all the roads and nearby intersections, which will be very useful for motorists and travelers. A map with a route in the city of Moscow will allow you to plan your route and prevent you from getting lost in an unfamiliar place.

To create a route on a map of the city of Moscow, enter the starting point in the first field of the form presented below and the ending point in the third field. Then indicate how you will travel to your final destination by clicking on the appropriate button - “Car”, “On Foot” or Public Transport.” After that, click on the “Show route” button.

Travel by night transport costs the same as during the day. So, with the “Unified” subscription, one trip will cost 55 rubles, and with the “TAT” subscription - 65 rubles. With the Troika card, travel on ground transport costs 35 rubles. A ticket can also be purchased from the driver for 55 rubles.

Where does the night land transport go?

Today in Moscow there are 11 night ground transport routes - seven buses, two trolleybuses and one tram. The main transfer point is located in the area of the station. M. "Kitai-Gorod" - the final stop for most buses is on Slavyanskaya Square.

Night transport starts operating around 12 at night, when daytime transport no longer runs. The driver stops at the request of passengers at all stops along the route. Transport operates both on weekdays and on weekends.

The night route of bus No. H1 operates from 1:00 to 5:30. It runs from Ozernaya Street (Yugozapadnaya metro station) to Sheremetyevo Airport, stopping at terminals E, A and C. The service interval is 30 minutes.

The night route of bus No. H2 starts running at 12 at night and ends at 5:30. It runs from Belovezhskaya Street (near the Slavyansky Boulevard metro station) to the Kitay-Gorod metro station. The movement interval is 30 minutes.

The night route of bus No. H3 operates from 00:00 to 5:30. It runs from Ussuriyskaya Street (near the Shchelkovskaya metro station) to the Kitay-Gorod metro station. The movement interval is 30 minutes.

The night route of bus No. H4 starts operating at 23:57 and ends at 5:30. The final stations are Novokosino and the Kitay-Gorod metro station. The movement interval is 30 minutes.

The night route of bus No. H5 operates from 23:35 to 5:30. It runs from Kashirskoye Shosse, 148 (Krasnogvardeyskaya metro station) to the Kitay-Gorod metro station. The movement interval is also 30 minutes.

The night route of bus No. H6 starts running at 23:53 and ends at 5:30. It runs from Ostashkovskaya Street (near the Medvedkovo metro station) to the Kitay-Gorod metro station. The movement interval is 30 minutes.

Night bus route No. T15 operates around the clock. It runs from the Southern vestibule of VDNH to the street. 10th anniversary of October. The traffic interval at night is 30 minutes.

The night route of trolleybus No. M7 operates around the clock with a nighttime interval of 30 minutes. It runs from the 138th block of Vykhino (the nearest metro station is Ryazansky Prospekt) to the Lubyanka metro station.

The night trolleybus routes “Bk” and “Bch” follow the Garden Ring and differ in the direction of travel - clockwise and counterclockwise, respectively. They operate around the clock, and traffic intervals at night increase to 15 minutes.

The night tram route No. 3 runs from 1:00 to 5:30 from Akademika Yangelya Street (Chertanovskaya metro station) to Chistye Prudy metro station. The movement interval is 30 minutes.

How does transport work during the day and on holidays?

The operating hours of ground transport depend on the specific route. Usually the movement starts at 5.30-6.00. The last flights depart at different times. For example, bus No. 203 departs from the Tsaritsyno Metro stop at 1:08 on weekdays, and trolleybus No. 8 departs at 22:11 from the Moskvoretsky Market stop.

The metro opens at 5:30 am, and the crossings close at 1 am - this means that the last train leaves from each terminal station at this time. After 1 am the escalators do not work either. Of course, you can climb them on foot, but the main thing is not to miss the last train.

The Moscow Central Circle operates in almost the same way as the metro. The first trains depart at 5:45, and the last trains disembark passengers at approximately 1 am.

Electric trains start operating earlier than subway trains. The schedule depends on the departure and arrival stations. For example, you can leave from the Belorussky railway station to the Rabochiy Poselok station (not far from the Kuntsevskaya metro station) as early as 4:36 am on weekdays. The last trains from Moscow usually leave at 00:00-00:30.

The decision to change the operating mode of transport is made for each holiday separately. For the first time this year, on New Year's Eve, the metro operated around the clock. From half past twelve until 5.30, metro trains ran at intervals of 15 minutes. In past years, the subway's operating hours were only extended until 2 a.m. It is expected that this year the metro will operate around the clock and on City Day. All changes related to the operation of the metro can be found in the operational information department.

Moscow public transport is a fairly extensive and developed network of urban passenger transport in the capital and surrounding areas.

Moscow is a densely populated metropolis, and therefore all types of public transport are represented here. In addition to the well-known Moscow metro, a large number of buses, trolleybuses, trams, minibuses, and electric trains run around the city.

There is also river transport, represented by motor ships and pleasure boats, mainly used by tourists for sightseeing trips.

All public transport in the capital is managed by Mosgortrans - http://www.mosgortrans.ru/. In the article we will talk in detail about each type of public transport, schedules and ticket prices.

Metro

The metro is the most popular method of transportation among Muscovites and guests of the capital.

Half of the total daily passenger traffic passes through it every day.

In terms of the quality of structures, expressiveness of the architectural ensemble, technical equipment, operational characteristics and comfort, the capital's metro is significantly superior to foreign subways.

Each station is unique and looks like a museum with beautiful mosaics, huge chandeliers, bas-reliefs and columns.

It is worth noting: A big plus is the availability of free wi-fi in the metro.

Metro map

The Moscow metro ranks first in Europe in terms of load intensity. In total, the metro has 12 lines with a length of more than three hundred kilometers and 207 stations.

At first, a newcomer may get confused in the interweaving of metro lines, but they are all united by one ring line. For the convenience of passengers, there are signs in Russian and English on the walls, floor, and ceiling of the station.

Opening hours

All metro stations are open from 06.00 to 01.00 without a break for lunch and weekends. After closing, the last train goes to the final station.

Fare

Currently, there are several types of metro tickets:

  1. The “Single Ticket” card is a universal travel ticket for all types of public transport. One trip will cost 55 rubles, respectively, two will cost 110 rubles.
  2. The limit for one or two trips is valid for five days, for twenty or more trips it is valid for three months. The higher the travel limit, the lower the fare. A pass for 20 trips costs 720 rubles, for 40 - 1440, for 60 - 1700. Thus, one route on a single card for 20 trips will cost 36 rubles. This is undoubtedly a pleasant bonus for those who plan to stay in Moscow for a week or more.
  3. "90 minutes" card. This card is valid for 90 minutes. One trip costs 65 rubles, two - 130 rubles. A pass for 60 trips or more will cost 2,650 rubles.
  4. Electronic cards "Strelka" and "Troika". They can be used to pay for travel on public transport. Upon receipt of them, you must leave a deposit of 50 rubles at the box office. You can top up the balance on your card from any terminal or using the special Moscow Metro mobile application. The cost of one trip in the metro, monorail and ground transport with a Troika card will be only 36 rubles. The card is valid for five years.
  5. There are also social passes for students, Muscovites and pensioners. Many travel tickets were issued for various anniversaries and holidays. For example, a travel card dedicated to the year since the founding of the collectors' society.

A few recommendations for those who find themselves on the subway for the first time:

  1. The stations have four or more exits to the city and, in order not to waste time, you need to move in advance closer to the center, the beginning, the end of the car.
  2. Also, in order to save time, you need to remember the numbers of the cars that stop closest to the escalator.
  3. It is advisable, unless there is an urgent need, not to get into the subway during rush hours, which occur in the early morning (07.00 - 09.00) and evening (17.00 - 20.00), since in the massive influx of people it will not be easy for a beginner to navigate the space.
  4. Stations when moving to the center are announced by the voice of a man, in the opposite direction - by women. On the Circle Line: stations clockwise are announced in a man's voice, counterclockwise in a woman's voice.

Ground transportation

Buses, trolleybuses, trams are no less popular types of ground transport among Muscovites. The route network of city buses covers not only the territory of the capital, but also nearby settlements.

State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans is an organization that maintains and is responsible for the operation of bus routes.

Recently, semi-express route No. 911 was launched (Vnukovo airport - Salaryevo metro station); during its operation, about half a million people used it. Muscovites appreciate this route for its speed and convenience.

Every day, semi-express buses deliver about 150 thousand people to their destinations. Thanks to additional dedicated lanes, bus speeds increase.

Ticket prices

The price of one bus ticket for one trip is 55 rubles. You can purchase it from the bus driver or use the “Unified” pass, which is sold at the metro ticket office or at the ticket office at the bus stop.

In addition to the “Unified”, there is a “TAT” travel card (trolleybus/bus/tram), and a “A” bus pass.

Cost of the TAT pass

Cost of travel card "A"

Routes at night

There are eleven routes of ground intracity transport in the capital at night.

Night-time trolleybuses (Bk, Bchr) run a circular route along the streets of the Garden Ring. Their path lies through Zamoskvorechye, Yakimanka, Khamovniki, Arbat, as well as Basmanny, Tagansky, Presnensky, Tverskoy, Meshchansky, Krasnoselsky districts.

Operating interval: every 15 minutes, other trolleybuses operate at half-hour intervals.

Night tram No. 3 runs along the Chistye Prudy metro route - st. Academician Yangel. Route taxi No. 308 runs from the Domodedovskaya metro station to the airport of the same name, the interval is 40 minutes. Ticket prices at night are the same as during the day.

Take note: On the Mosgortrans website http://www.mosgortrans.ru you can find answers to the questions: what time do buses start running at night? There you can also search for ground transport schedules, find out how long trolleybuses, trams and buses run.

Start time for night transport: 23:30. Stopping time: 05:30 am. Sometimes movement occurs around the clock, without interruption.

Below is a diagram of the movement of Moscow intracity transport at night.

Note: using the mobile phone application “Yandex. Transport" can greatly facilitate the search for ground transport schedules. There are sites on the Internet - directories, with the help of which you can build a route.

Route taxis

Marshrutka, as these taxis are popularly called, is certainly a more convenient and less crowded form of urban transport.

The ticket price varies between 25-35 rubles; suburban routes, naturally, will cost twice as much.

There are a lot of commercial minibuses in the capital. The roads are mainly driven by both old Gazelle cars and more modern Ford cars.

The numbers of minibuses and their complete list, as well as the schedule, can be found on the Internet at http://gorod-moskva.ru/transport/mtaxi.php. Minibus taxis operate daily from 6:00 to 24:00.

City stops are equipped with special boards that display the number of public transport, route and interval. This is very convenient for passengers.

Monorail

The Moscow monorail is an experimental passenger mode of transport, consists of one track, runs on an overpass between the metro and VDNKh.

It is a landmark of VDNKh and is used mainly for excursion purposes.

Opening hours: 6:30 - 23:30.

You can pay for travel with a “United”, “Troika” card and all other travel tickets.

Electric trains

Another popular type of railway ground transport is the electric train.

Electric trains run daily and around the clock, from 05.00 am to 01.00 am.

A nice bonus for students is a discount on travel (half the ticket price for adults).

You can buy a ticket for the train from the ticket inspector or at the station ticket office. The ticket is issued for the whole day.

The exit to the platform is blocked by a turnstile. On each platform there are signs in the form of electronic boards indicating the departure time and arrival station. Station names are constantly announced.

Electric trains operate in the following directions:

  • Belorussian;
  • Gorkovskoe;
  • Kazanskoe;
  • Kyiv;
  • Ring;
  • Kursk;
  • Leningradskoe;
  • Moscow Central Circle;
  • Paveletskoe;
  • Rizhskoe;
  • Savelovskoe;
  • Yaroslavskoe.

The train schedule can be viewed on the website https://www.tutu.ru/msk/.

The price of a ticket within Moscow railway stations for the day is 34 rubles. (for a month - 1570 rubles, for ten trips - 340 rubles), for beneficiaries - 17 rubles, for minors - 8.5 rubles.

Water transport

Recently, river trams have been used mainly for excursion purposes.

For tourists and the local population, a walk along the Moscow River on a river bus is quite an interesting activity: from the board there are wonderful views of the sights and picturesque places.

Vessels operate on a fixed route from mid-April to the end of October.

Several shipping companies offer boat trips in the city: Rechflot, Stolichnaya, Vodokhod, Megaflot. There is no single route of movement; each shipping industry has its own. You can view the schedule here http://transport.mos.ru/river/.

Tickets can be purchased at the riverport box office.
