But when we went through the hotels located in the center, we realized that we had made the right choice. and if we go again, it will be to Sansouci. Unlike small hotels in the center, the Sansouci Hotel is large, has a chic lobby, a large restaurant, good cozy rooms (much better looking in real life than in the photos of tour operators), and the treatment is excellent - a large selection of procedures, friendly staff. The hotel has the first spring (as a rule, the doctor prescribes it in the morning) - it’s convenient, you don’t have to run to the spring, you went downstairs, poured some water, drank it and started the procedure. By the way, they can start at seven in the morning.
It's a 15-20 minute walk to the source at a quiet pace. You just need to explore all the short trails. You can also take bus number 2 for free upon presentation of your resort card. The final point is exactly 5 minutes drive. And you are at the source. Back also by bus to the Sansouci stop. Which is near the entrance to the hotel. The bus runs on schedule. Approximately every 20 minutes. Everything is convenient, you can schedule the route to the source minute by minute. There is also a bus from the hotel to the source, but I never got on it, I rode a two-wheeler or walked on foot.
What can we say about the procedures...I think that’s why they go there; I liked the fact that there are no overlays. I never had to wait or see any line. Everything is organized correctly for our comfort. It is enough to arrive 5 minutes before the appointed time. The staff is great. Everyone speaks Russian, and I’ve never even had to use my knowledge of English. Everyone is extremely friendly, which is undoubtedly very pleasant.
The treatment takes place partly in the hotel itself on the ground floor, and all water procedures at the Mercedes Balneological Center. It takes about three minutes to walk through the underground passage. The transition from the hotel to the Mercedes is warm, so everyone wears bathrobes (they are provided in the room). Mercedes has a swimming pool, sauna, steam room. Admission there is free from 7 to 8 am and from 15 to 21.00 on weekdays, and from 10 to 21.30 on weekends. Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., water gymnastics, etc. take place there. The only negative is that outsiders are not allowed into the pool. The local population goes there for money. Well, I didn’t see more than 10 people there, but it was still not very pleasant. There is also a solarium (for a fee).
There is no point in talking about procedures. There are many of them, all different. They are prescribed by the doctor. But they assigned us everything they wanted. If you don’t like something, or want to try something else, just tell the doctor about it, he will change it. But it’s undesirable to be late for procedures, they disappear and no one can restore them. They must be canceled or rescheduled at least 5 hours in advance. True, I was late twice, but there were no problems.
The food in the restaurant is good. Buffet. The dishes are dietary, very tasty, the choice is not luxurious, but enough to fill you up while trying a little of everything... Three meals a day, this is more than enough, because you don’t always have time for these three times... There is also a minus here. At lunch and dinner, all drinks including water are available for a fee.
The rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed daily, linen every three days. The room has a hairdryer, telephone, TV, Internet access, minibar, safe. The room is not small. The bathroom can be either separate or combined.
Of the hotel guests, 90% are Russian (as in all Karlovy Vary) and 10% are German. Many people come for the second or third time. Exactly in Sansouci. We'll gather again next year.

If you want to take a walk in nature - from Hotel Spa Resort Sanssouci 4\* you can easily get to the parks. Not far from the hotel are the necessary transport routes. First of all, from the hotel, go towards the Geyser Colonnade. In the hall, which is open from 9:00 to 16:00, you will find five more vases of springs - fill them with excellent mineral water. An excursion route is open at the Geyser - you will learn everything about the springs in Karlovy Vary, admire rare minerals and much more. Tickets for the excursion can be found nearby. The price for a bath in the Thermal bath is 100 CZK. Directly from the Geyser, go to the Mlyn Colonnade: here, logically, there are also mineral springs. All five colonnades are not far from each other. You can also easily reach the Spa Resort Sanssouci 4\* from here. Do you miss the view of the city from above? Climb the Diana Tower - it is located above the Hotel Pupp. The stone observation tower was built specifically to look at Karlovy Vary from above. A cable car can take you there. The price of a round trip ticket is 70 CZK. The tower is closed in January. From Diana's Tower you can also go to the Becher Museum. Ticket reservations for the museum can be made on its website. The ticket price for an adult is about 100 CZK. But you shouldn’t immediately return to the hotel, because the most interesting visiting option for those who have always been interested in how glass is blown is the Moser glass factory. You can book excursions by email. For those who would not like to return to the hotel early, there is the opportunity to walk through the resort forest parks. If you think that after a walk you will want to have a snack, go to the Pochtovy Dvor restaurant, which has been famous for 200 years. What to buy in Karlovy Vary so that everyone will appreciate it? Of course, Karlovy Vary waffles are very tasty, and the price for them is not too high, the only thing is that they must be carefully kept in the hotel. From the hotel you can also go towards sports centers - there are a lot of them, for every taste.
