The history of Royal Flight begins in 1992. At that time the company was called "Akaban Avia"... Then they were engaged in the transportation of goods from China to Russia.
At the moment, Royal Flight specializes in charter flights on orders from the travel agency Coral Travel. The modern aircraft fleet consists of Boeings:

 • 757-200 .

The latter is the most popular. The airline has five such Boeings. Each aircraft has its own side number:

 • VQ - BTR;
 • VP - BOO;
 • VQ - BTB;
 • VQ - BTN;
 • VQ - BTM.

The aircraft have 3 variations of cabin configurations:

 • 40 rows - 235 seats (VQ - BTR, VQ - BTB).
 • 40 rows - 224 seats (VQ - BTN, VQ - BTM).
 • 41 row - 235 seats (VP - BOO).
40 rows - 235 seats (VQ - BTR, VQ - BTB).
40 rows - 224 seats (VQ - BTN, VQ - BTM)
41 row - 235 seats (VP - BOO).

The types of accommodation for 235 places are almost the same, the only difference is the placement of toilets. The 224-seat option, although it accommodates a smaller number of passengers, is a plus in that WS are located exclusively at the very end and beginning of the plane.

Boeing 757-200 best seats

Despite the different types of seating, the principle of choosing the best and worst seats is the same. Consider a configuration for 235 seats:

First grade

1 row

Closely located to the toilets - it brings great inconvenience. Due to the fact that there is a folding table on the armrest (which, moreover, significantly reduces the width of the chair), it becomes motionless. Among the pluses, it is worth noting a large amount of legroom and the confidence that you will not be constrained by the reclined back of the seat in front.

2 row

The disadvantages of the first row are repeated: proximity to toilets, a folding table, which creates a certain uncomfortableness. These locations are not recommended for long distance flights.

Business Class

9 row

There are reinforcements for strollers, so this is a great option for parents with their children. Plus there's plenty of legroom.

10 row

An emergency exit begins at the back of the row, as a result of which the backs of the seats are fixed (they cannot recline), in order to avoid blocking the exit, for safety reasons. But this fact should be clarified with a travel agency or airline.

11 row

Plenty of legroom, and even the back of the front seat won't get in the way. Wonderful locations for couples traveling (due to the lack of outer seats). But here it is necessary to observe certain restrictions - it is not allowed to fly with children and it is forbidden to litter the passage with luggage.

12 row (A, F)

The seats near the windows are some of the most comfortable. First, the view is beautiful. Secondly. There are no seats ahead. The only drawbacks are the lack of one armrest and the temperature. Here it is much lower compared to others.

Economy class

15 row (A, F)

The lack of windows is quite common in such aircraft. If availability is important to you, check with the airline before purchasing tickets.

30 row

The seats are uncomfortable, especially for passengers traveling with children, traveling on a long journey and those who love comfort. There is a toilet nearby, and because of this, there is no way to lean back. Some of the noisiest places in the cabin.

31 row

A protruding emergency door greatly reduces the amount of legroom. The folding table immobilizes the armrest and narrows the seat in the chair. Plus, close to the toilet (unpleasant odors are heard).

35 and 36 rows

There is a kitchen nearby, from which noise and bustle are constantly heard

37 row

Seats rotated or narrowed due to emergency exit. There is legroom, but it is often occupied by other passengers who decide not to stretch their muscles a lot.

38 row (D, E, F, G)

Perfect for passengers with children, a comfortable flight is provided for both kids and their parents.

40 row

The seats are locked, and the passenger also feels discomfort from the nearby galley. In addition, as many people know, it is often cool or stuffy in the last rows of the salon.

The rest of the seats are standard.

Safety

These were all just pluses in terms of a comfortable flight. The best places also depend on security. In this regard, the choice falls on the last rows. Scientists have long proved that when an airplane crashes, the nose, and therefore the first rows, takes the biggest blow.

The middle rows are also endangered (there are fuel tanks that can explode or ignite for unknown reasons). The words of scientists are confirmed by statistics (in case of plane crashes, 69% of the survivors are located in the tail section of the aircraft.).

Prices

The most popular seats among passengers are in the front rows and near the windows. Airlines naturally know this so that prices for these seats are several times more expensive. Plus, given how quickly they are taken apart, it will be necessary to pay a tidy sum for booking in advance. Therefore, the most affordable in terms of prices will be the middle and tail seats.

To summarize, it's worth noting that the best seats on the plane depend on your own desires. If you want to sit comfortably, then seats 11, 12 rows are suitable for you, fly as a couple in love - 11 row, children are with you - 38, 9 rows, the most important thing is safety - seats in the tail, an affordable price is needed - economy class, medium and back rows, etc. Choose the best place of your choice and enjoy the ride.

Royal Flight is a new Russian airline formed from the former Abakan-Avia company, which previously specialized in air cargo transportation. Today Royal Flight is engaged in charter flights ordered by the tour operator Coral Travel.

The company's aircraft fleet includes five Boeing 757-200s. These are the side numbers: VQ-BTR, VP-BOO, VQ-BTB, VQ-BTN and VQ-BTM. The liners are age (average age 16) and were bought at different times from different airlines:

 • The VQ-BTR made its maiden flight in May 1998 and was operated by airlines such as Flying Colors Airlines, JMC Airlines and Thomas Cook Airlines.
 • VP-BOO made its first flight in February 1999 and was operated by such airlines as Britannia Airways, Thomsonfly and Thomson Airways.
 • The VQ-BTB made its first flight in March 1999 and was operated by such airlines as: Flying Colors Airlines, JMC Airlines, Thomas Cook Airlines, Jazz Air and Thomas Cook Airlines.
 • The VQ-BTN board made its first flight in October 1999 and was operated by such airlines as: Iberia, Air Baltic, TonleSap Airlines, Palau Airways, BB Airways.
 • The VQ-BTM board made its first flight in November 1999 and was operated by such airlines as: Iberia, Air Baltic, TonleSap Airlines.

All aircraft are in a single-class layout. In this case, there are three different options for the interior configuration. The VQ-BTR and VQ-BTB are 40 rows and accommodate 235 passengers:

The VQ-BTN and VQ-BTM can accommodate 224 passengers:

The VP-BOO board can accommodate 235 passengers and has an additional 41 rows:

As can be seen on the Boeing 757-200 saloon diagrams, the company noted good comfortable seats and seats with limited reclining of the back. In our opinion, this is a very superficial characteristic of the quality of the seats. We offer our own, more extensive overview of the best and worst places. Let's consider in detail the layout of the cabin for 235 seats (VQ-BTR and VQ-BTB sides).

Boeing 757-200 Best Seats Locations

Row 1. The first row is marked as comfortable. Indeed, there is enough legroom in the front, but the partition in front of the eyes and the close location to the toilet can ruin the whole experience of the flight.

Row 10. Although the cabin diagram does not indicate that the seat backs are limited in reclining, this point should be further clarified with the airline representatives. The fact is that an emergency exit begins behind the row - it is for this reason that the backs of the seats are often blocked so as not to block the exit (for safety reasons).

Row 11. Definitely good places to fly. There is a lot of legroom thanks to the emergency exit. Also, the back of a neighbor in front does not hurt. These are very good places to fly as a couple, as there are no outer seats in the rows. An insignificant disadvantage of this row is that seats are quickly snapped up, and do not be surprised if they ask for an additional amount for early booking.

Row 12, seats A and F. Also very good flight locations. They have pluses of the 11th row. However, there is one caveat - because of the emergency exit door, the chair may be missing one armrest.

Row 29 seats C and D. Not the best places to fly in this aircraft. Although they are not designated by the company as not comfortable. The fact is that the toilets are very close, and all passengers from rows 11 to 28 (about 100 people), according to their "need", will walk just past your seat. And if the toilets are busy, then the line will be income just to your place. Do you like this alignment?

Row 30. Has all the minuses of row 29. But these places are even worse. Because of the partition from the toilet, the backs of the chairs are limited in reclining. These are the noisiest places in the cabin. There are always people bustling about and queues are formed.

Row 31. Quite contradictory places. On the one hand, there is no front row of seats, so there is a lot of legroom (even a lot). However, there are toilets nearby, which means only one thing - traffic, noise and smells. Be that as it may, the company has designated these places as comfortable.

Row 40. Not very good flight locations. The backs of the seats are limited in recline due to the partition behind the row. This is also the last row in the cabin, and, as you know, it can be cold or stuffy in the tail of an aircraft (if the air conditioning system does not work well).

How to choose the best seats on AZUR air planes? This is not difficult to do. The main thing is to know the layout of the seats, the features and recommendations of passengers who have already used the carrier's services.

There are three types of aircraft in the airline's air fleet:

 • Boeing 737-800... The airline has one aircraft of this model at its disposal. The length of the airliner is 40 meters, the cruising speed is 828 km / h, and the flight range is 5.66 thousand km. Capacity - 189 passengers.
 • Boeing 767-300... These [aircrafts are at the disposal of AZUR air most of all - 8. The peculiarities are great length, capacity (up to 336 people) and flight range (about 11,000 km). The cruising speed is 825 km / h.
 • Boeing 757-200... The number of such airliners at the disposal of the company is 7. The capacity is 238 people. The maximum flight range is 7.27 km.

Choosing the best seats on the planes of AZUR air, it is important to focus on several main criteria:

 • Extra legroom.
 • The proximity of technical rooms.
 • Location (window, walkway, emergency exit).
 • The backrest can be reclined.

Detailed aircraft layouts are discussed below.

The best seats in Boeing 767-300 AZUR air

When flying on a Boeing 767-300, the best seats should be chosen deliberately, taking into account the location of the seats and the layout of the aircraft. Technical rooms are located in three places - at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the board. Therefore, the seats in rows 46 and 45, 15 and 16 can hardly be called comfortable, because there will be constant movement near them and unpleasant odors may appear.

The best seats in this AZUR air plane - those that provide more legroom, namely in the rows:

 • 14 (C, D, F).
 • 16 (A, B, including G, H).
 • 33 (A, B as well as G, H).
 • 32 (C, D, E, F).

By the way, the seats in the first row also have increased legroom and many claim that these are the best seats in the Boeing 767-300 AZUR air. The situation is spoiled by the proximity of this row to the toilet, so you can hardly count on a calm and quiet ride.

The best seats in the Boeing 737-800

Despite the fact that the Boeing 737-800 is at the carrier's disposal in a limited number (there is only one aircraft), it is still desirable to know the layout of the airliner and the location of the seats. According to the manufacturer itself, the best seats in the Boeing 737-800 are in the following ranks:

 • 1 (A, B, C).
 • 2 (D, E, F).
 • 16 (A, B, C as well as D, E, F).
 • 15 (A, B, C and including - D, E, F).

The peculiarity of the mentioned chairs is the increased legroom. But here it is worth considering that rows 1 and 2 are very close to the toilet, so they can be called comfortable conditionally. During the entire flight, passengers are constantly moving here and you can not dream of comfort. And extraneous odors will add "piquancy" to the flight.

The best seats in the Boeing 757-200 AZUR air

As noted above, AZUR air has seven Boeing 757-200 aircraft at its disposal, the best seats of which are in rows 1, 11, 12 and 31. In more detail, the most comfortable seats with the greatest legroom are located in the following rows:

 • 1 (A, B, C, D, E, F).
 • 11 (B, C as well as D, E).
 • 12 (A, F).
 • 31 (A, B, C, D, E, F).

If you single out the best Boeing 757 seats from this group, they are in the 12th and 11th rows. As for the seats in the 31st and 1st rows, they are located in close proximity to the toilets.

Outcome

With this in mind, we can conclude that the most comfortable chairs are those with plenty of legroom, as well as those remote from the kitchen and toilet. Alternatively, you can occupy seats in the center of the passenger compartment, which are far from the technical areas.

Most of us have flown airplanes at least once in our lives. Many have flown on domestically produced airliners, but most certainly have boarded a Boeing 757 200 at least once in their lives.

Despite the fact that this is already an outdated model of the airliner, it is still popular due to the fact that it copes with overcoming medium and long distances.

The aircraft of this model made its very first flight in February 1982. The manufacturer developed this model at the same time as the 767 model: the same on-board systems and electronics were used. The front of the plane is also the same. Models of the airliner 757 200 were produced until 2005. A total of 1,050 liners were put into operation. There were only 80 cargo planes.

The history of the Boeing 757 200 knows only 7 crashes of this model, of which only one airliner crashed due to a breakdown - it had damage to the landing gear (found during an emergency landing at the Girona airport). The remaining 6 accidents were caused by terrorist attacks.

Passenger compartment configuration 757 200

In the Boeing 757 200, the cabin diagram shows its customers two salons with seats for any, even the most fastidious taste and wishes: business and economy classes. The layout of the cabin contains two classes with 45 rows. Sometimes there are models with a mono-class interior.

The Boeing 757,200 has a capacity of 200 to 228 passengers. There are 40 rows in the cabin. Each row has six seats. The salon is divided into three parts: nose, tail and middle. The airliner's staff quarters are located in the bow and tail of the airliner. Toilets are located in the middle and at the beginning of the passenger compartment.

Business Class

The 9th row contains the best seats for parents with children, they will feel good here. There are special mounts for strollers and plenty of legroom.

There is an emergency exit behind row 10. Because of this, the backs of the seats may not recline. Try to check with the airline, and it is better to discard this row.

Row 11 has plenty of legroom. Due to the fact that there are no extreme seats - these places are often chosen by travelers who fly in pairs. True, there are restrictions - children cannot sit here and put luggage in the aisle.

Economy class

There are no windows in the 15th row. Be sure to check with the airline before buying a ticket if this is a significant nuance for you.

Seats not recommended in an airliner include seats in row 29 (C, D). There is a toilet in the immediate vicinity of this row, which means that everyone who sits in rows 12-28 will walk past you into the toilet. Thus, with a small queue, there will be many people near you.

Row 30 includes uncomfortable seats due to the presence of a toilet nearby. This row is considered one of the noisiest in the cabin.

Near the 31st row there is an emergency door that protrudes. There is little legroom here and passengers can feel discomfort (especially on long flights).

Choosing the best seat on the plane 757 200

The first row in the Boeing 757 200 is a good seat. There is a lot of space between the rows, the partition inside the cabin and the staff quarters. The disadvantages of this series include the absence of a folding table, but the manufacturer decided this problem by arranging a table in the armrest. A disadvantage that cannot be eliminated is the constant presence of people who can wait for their turn in the toilet room.

Plenty of space in the 10th row - the seats are arranged in two in a row. Due to the fact that there is an emergency exit nearby, you will have plenty of space.

The most comfortable places are the places near the windows. The advantages of such places include a beautiful view, the absence of seats nearby (only applies to the 12th row).

One of the best rows is 21 rows. It is located behind the emergency exit, respectively, there is a lot of free space around, the distance between the seats allows you to comfortably position your legs. Passengers flying long distances will appreciate this.

Bad places: how not to be wrong

The worst seat you can choose is the last row at number 40. The backrest does not fold out here, there is little free legroom. Staff offices are located immediately behind you.

Bad spots also include seats in the 9th, 19th and 20th rows. Here, the seats do not have a folding back, there are emergency hatches nearby. Next to the 9th row is the first emergency exit and the second toilet.

In the last rows it is very often uncomfortable due to the wrong choice of the temperature of the on-board air conditioner: it can be stuffy or completely cool.

Use the following guidelines to find the best seat on the plane.

 1. Try to avoid places that are located near toilets or service rooms: there will always be a lot of people near you.
 2. Do not purchase seats in the rear of the aircraft. To this advice, we also include seats that do not recline the back.
 3. The manufacturer does not make rows 13 and 17 in the Boeing cabin. The reason is superstition.

The Boeing 757-200 airliner was developed as a replacement for the Boeing 727 medium-range aircraft. Its operation began in 1983. The liner was produced until 2005. Currently, the liner is used by many airlines on routes that are not very busy with a length of 3 to 7 thousand kilometers.

A total of 1,050 such aircraft were manufactured, including 80 Boeing-757-200 PF (cargo version). To date, several liners have been reconstructed for the carriage of goods.

The only Russian large company operating a Boeing 757-200 is Utair (utair.ru). It currently has seven such aircraft in its fleet. Moreover, they all have a single-class cabin layout, that is, economy class. Utair previously transferred nine 757-200 to the Ktekavia charter company.

The small company Azur Air, which is part of the Anex Tourism Group holding, operates charter flights using the 757-200. This airline operates charter flights on the most popular tourist routes to various countries. Based in Domodedovo, the company, which began operating in 2014, carries out the largest part of transportation from the cities of the Volga region and Siberia.

Review of the best places

During the development of the Boeing-757-200, the designers paid much attention to reducing the noise level, efficiency, and a high level of comfort for passengers. The watercress installed in the cabin is quite convenient. But, as always, there are places here that have a greater degree of comfort and less.

With a single-class cabin layout, seats 1A, 1B, 1C are located immediately behind the cockpit. There is a partition in front of them. Of course, this arrangement provides a disadvantage, since passengers have limited visibility. But at the same time, there is quite a lot of legroom, which provides more comfort on a long flight.

The 2D, 2E and 2F seats are not particularly comfortable. They are located right next to the toilet. Less comfort for 8D, 8E, 8F seats. They have restrictions when unfolding. The whole ninth line has the same minus.

The best places are those in the 10th row. Here is the layout of the 2 + 2 seats. In addition, this row is located just behind the escape hatch. Due to this, passengers have a lot of legroom. However, at the same time, they cannot place their carry-on luggage in front of the floor. It is forbidden.

Perhaps the disadvantage in this case can be attributed to the restrictions on the categories of passengers who can sit in front of the emergency exit. It is forbidden to stay here for pregnant women, passengers with children, children, elderly people, passengers with animals. Moreover, such ranks cannot include foreigners who do not know much English or Russian.

Preference is given to men who give the impression of people who, in an emergency, will not panic. It is assumed that such passengers will help the flight attendant to open the escape hatch, will facilitate a quick evacuation.

A good option is present in the 11th row. These are seats A and 11 F. The passengers seated here have plenty of legroom.

The Boeing 757-200 has a special feature. There are no rows of armchairs with numbers 13 and 17. The reason is simple - a relic associated with superstition. Nevertheless, aircraft designers continue to abide by tradition.

Some inconveniences are experienced by passengers in the 19th row. Since there is an escape hatch behind, the backrests of their seats do not recline. But in the next, 20th row, passengers have a lot of legroom.

Row 21 seats are installed behind the emergency hatch. There is no limitation for unfolding the backrests, there is plenty of legroom in front. But, as always in such cases, when landing, preference is given to physically strong men.

The worst places are those in the last row. Among the disadvantages are not only non-reclining backs of the chairs, but also the close location of the technical unit and toilets. Lines of passengers can accumulate in the aisle, which is a little disturbing for passengers whose seats border the aisle.

With a two-class cabin layout, the first 6 rows are first class. The seats are arranged in a 2 + 2 pattern. The passengers in the front row are in the best position. It is located immediately behind the partition, that is, in the immediate vicinity of the kitchen. This means that passengers who are here have more choice when delivering food by flight attendants.

The sixth row of the first class is in front of the partition, behind which the toilet is located, followed by the economy class. This row has a higher noise level. Despite the presence of a partition, there are no restrictions on the seat backs. They unfold in the same way as in the rest of the first class rows.

Economy class seats have the same conveniences and disadvantages that are present in a one-class cabin layout. The most inconvenient for tourists are places 22A, 22F, 23A and 23F. Passengers here cannot look through the windows.

Possible replacement of the Boeing-757-200

In the early 2000s, the demand for roomy aircraft declined. Airlines began to rely on smaller airliners such as Boeing-737 or Airbus-320. In the fall of 2003, it was announced that the Boeing 757 was discontinued. The last aircraft was delivered to the customer in November 2005.

To be able to successfully compete with other similar aircraft for existing aircraft, airlines purchased wingtips (winglets) from the corporation. These additions provide fuel savings (5 percent) and also increase the range by 370 kilometers.

The Boeing-737-900ER model is announced as a replacement for the liner. Roughly the same characteristics are present in the competitor Airbus-A321.

Specifications

Length: 47.32 m.
Height: 13.56 m.
Wingspan: 38.05 m.
Fuselage width: 3.76 m.
Cruising speed: 935 km / h.
Flight range: 7240 km.
The number of passenger seats: 194, 231, 239.
Crew: 2 h.

Conclusion

The medium-haul, narrow-body Boeing-757-200 has been used for passenger transportation for more than two decades. It will probably remain one of the most popular aircraft for a long time to come.
This quality of the liner is ensured by the great work carried out by the designers during its design. It was necessary to use all the latest achievements that would provide the liner with the ability to compete with similar machines of the Airbus family. As a result, the liner turned out to be one of the best in the world.

The design solutions for the aircraft were successful. Of course, they will be used for a long time in the development and production of subsequent Boeing models.
