We bought the vouchers from a travel agency, but now we understand that we shouldn’t overpay to intermediaries. They are not responsible for anything. It is better to negotiate directly with the owners. For a simple teacher on a budget, you understand, finding an inexpensive and tasteful vacation was difficult. Therefore, I chose the most economical option. We traveled on a comfortable Higer bus, it was convenient, you can survive a day if you have good health and an adequate companion nearby. When moving into Zhemchug there was a problem - the Samara intermediary reserved a type of room that was occupied at that time. The owners did everything that depended on them. They offered what was available: the cheapest room, and after 5 days people from the annex left with better rooms. So we didn’t end up at a loss - for the first half of the holiday we lived in spartan conditions in annex No. 1 - the cheapest decoration (two beds, a bedside table, a sagging chair, two nails on the wall instead of a closet), the second half in annex No. 2 (two isolated rooms , urban-type bathroom, i.e. washbasin, toilet, bathtub, everything is like in an apartment). For the three cheapest rooms in Annex No. 1, there are two outdoor toilets and a booth-type shower. Even when we already lived in a better outbuilding, we still ran there to freshen up. So the conditions are acceptable for the unspoiled public. The second housing pleased me with better finishing and relative isolation from the majority of residents. True, the room is microscopic and has a strange layout, but we only spent the night in it, and it’s more pleasant to relax in a cozy courtyard than within four walls. The yard is pleasant, a dining room with a common TV, under a canopy, for those who wish, two stoves and two refrigerators, dishes. We paid for two meals a day, and we were not disappointed. The advantage of “Zhemchug” is good Soviet catering. The food was delicious, the portions were normal, varied, and there was almost no repetition in 10 days. I still remember the wonderful pickled cabbage, I even begged for the recipe. Special thanks to the woman who works there as a “servant”, she is sweet, polite, clean, attentive. There is minimal information about the owners; we saw them twice in 10 days. And this is a definite plus. They don’t bother you, they leave early in the morning, you don’t see them either during the day or in the evening, only when the next move-in is done - they show the new arrivals a room, and they leave. Many thanks to them for their adequacy. Therefore, we don’t even remember their names, but a favorable impression remains. The courtyard is cute, flowers, tables with chairs, a huge walnut tree... From the courtyard there is a view of the estuary. When the wind blows from the estuary, of course, the smell of “medicinal mud” can sometimes be heard, but these are minor things. The village itself is good, cheerful, with a claim to ancient Greece, there are statues all around, cafes, in short, like everywhere else. There are two roads to the beach - along the street. Chernomorskaya (local Broadway) to the entrance to Paralia is really 15 minutes, then a kilometer of restaurants, shops, attractions, then 500 meters of sand. There is no beach this wide anywhere else. The height of the dunes is up to 10-15 meters, passages to the water between them. The water in August is with algae, it is better to go in June-July. The sand is clean, fine.. Entertainment on the beach and in Paralia - for every taste and budget. We lived on Vostochnaya Street, from this place it’s half an hour’s walk to the water. There is a road along the estuary. It is calmer, less crowded, and still takes 30 minutes. For those who want to lose weight and are athletic. It's difficult with small children. On the forum they complain about algae in the sea and acne from it - advice: straight from the beach to the shower, and there will be no problems. More about the amenities. Hot water is always available from the water heater. We couldn't afford a room with air conditioning, and there was no fan - this is the only wish for the owners, don't skimp on cheap rooms. The main house itself was not yet finished, but now I see on the website that it has been completed. The rooms there are more expensive and better, with air conditioning and city amenities. About intestinal infections - do not buy churchkhela, perishable dairy and sausage products. In Paralia they grill chicken wonderfully, the price is almost Samara. Don't let me cut watermelons, that's the one on the knife intestinal infection. The Vina Kuban brand store has a wonderful selection, whether on tap or in bottles. We found a cheap grocery store: walk a little down Chernomorskaya, on the other side of the road. Its prices are Samara. That's what they said - let's go to “our store”. Only fruits are expensive. Mineral water and beer are cheapest away from the beach; in general, the range of prices can be huge, choose for yourself. You could come across mineral water for 16 or 45 rubles, so you don’t have to grab the first one you come across. In general, the overall rating of the holiday is a solid four. Please note, this is for simple hard workers who are not spoiled by service. For capricious lovers of pretentious holidays, the area is full of fancy hotels, noisy nightlife etc. For every taste. By the way, there was no noise at night, there were only private houses around the “Pearl”, no discos, this is all there at night in Paralia. There was no interference from the other rooms either, but this does not depend on the owners. Prices have not changed in two years, I see. We spent everything together with vouchers, dinners, entertainment, shells, buying a variety of knitted items that are sold there in abundance - 12 thousand per person for 10 days there and travel.

We vacationed in August. I liked everything! great hotel for family vacation, both with and without children. As promised, we were picked up from the plane early in the morning. We were placed in our rooms immediately in the morning. The rooms are exactly the same as promised: with bathroom, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator and furniture. The room is cozy, clean, has everything you need for a convenient, comfortable stay. The staff is very friendly since we were in this area for the first time, they explained everything to us in detail, how to get there, where it is better to go, where to buy what, etc. The food is very varied, of course no frills, but everything is very tasty. If we were late for lunch or dinner, then lunch was left for us, and dinner was put in containers in the refrigerator, which was very convenient, because... We arrived very late from some excursions. In this case, we simply reheated dinner in the microwave. The microwave and oven are located outside for public use. I really liked the hotel courtyard, it’s cozy, there are places for both adults and children. 2 swimming pools, very comfortable, for children and adults, sun loungers, swings, playground, there is something to do for both small and older children. It’s a 30-minute walk to the beach, but it didn’t bother us in any way; a brisk walk has never hurt anyone. General impression from rest for 5.

Alexey – Ivanovo

I will tell you about everything in order, let's start: 1. Number. excellent room with excellent air conditioning and shower 2. Responsive staff 3. Dining room, if somewhere it is written that this is a dining room, then to put it mildly, this is a restaurant with very varied and tasty cuisine 4. Excellent swimming pools, children's playground 5. Since this review a 12-year-old boy writes: hello to Timofey, with whom it was fun to play everything, I hope to see him again.

Alena – Pskov

Good afternoon A very cozy and cute hotel, the area is small but very cozy, the staff is helpful, and the variety of dishes that Lyuba prepares is worth it, everything is homemade and delicious. There are 2 swimming pools on site (for children and a small one for adults). Yes, and it’s a 20-minute walk (about 2 km) to the sea, and you’re welcome at the beach. Anyone who doesn’t want to walk along the main street, where there are a lot of temptations, especially for children, can walk along the road between the hotel and the estuary (but it’s a bit difficult for older people, it's very hot). In general, I recommend the hotel, Thank you for our great holiday))))

Natalia – Kotlas

Great place for families with children, clean rooms, delicious food, quiet and cozy. Thanks for wonderful holiday!

Elena – St. Petersburg

Very nice place for a family vacation! Thanks to the owners, they are very attentive and nice people, and this is very important in our time!!!

Alex – Volgograd

Last summer, my wife and I booked a room at the Zhemchug guest house 1.5 months in advance with prepayment. Room in the main house, the most expensive, on the 3rd floor, 2-bed with split system, bathroom and plastic window. Having arrived at this hotel on the indicated date, we are taken to some one-story bungalow in the courtyard with a ceiling about 2 meters high with an old air conditioner in a small old wooden window with one bed and a half-broken sofa, with a disgusting smell inside and they claim that This is our number and there are no others available. After we expressed our dissatisfaction and said that we would call the tour operator, we were kicked out the door. After talking with the tour operator, the owners first offered us a 3-bed room, but after 3 days, then after a long and unpleasant conversation, again with the tour operator and the owners, we were told that we would move into our room, which we had booked only every other day, because for some reason he is busy. As conversations with other guests of this hotel have shown, this procedure goes through with everyone who just checks in in the hope of being given a cheaper room instead of a good one. So our vacation began with a great battle for our room. Thank you for your attention.
