On the morning of October 12, the regional final of the Russian Event Wards National Event Tourism Award started at the Chambers Museum Cultural and Educational Center. The names of the winners will be announced the next day. Finalists from the North-Western, North Caucasus, Central and Southern federal districts arrived in Vladimir. Initially, 326 projects from 31 regions of Russia were submitted.
- After the jury's absentee selection, 184 projects were selected. And more than 130 of them will be presented today. The best will go to the national finals of the award, which will be held on October 28-29 in Lipetsk, - the presenter announced in his welcoming speech.
This time, for the first time, a separate competition for the best design concept and visual component of the events will be held in the regional center. Design studio heads will evaluate projects.
- Today we have more and more interesting events, which helps to attract tourists from abroad and further develop our internal flows. In the field of event tourism, there are multi-step schemes when the “event” also influences the development of infrastructure. For example, Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in Murom. About 150 thousand people gather there. Over the ten years of the festival, new hotels have appeared, the embankment has been refurbished, a lot has been done to repair dilapidated housing, - emphasized Deputy Governor of the Vladimir Region Mikhail Kolkov.
Until the end of the day, the finalists will defend their projects in four halls of the Chambers. Concert Hall: “Best tourist event in the field of culture”, “... in the field of sports”, as well as “carnivals and theatrical performances”. Palace Hall: “The best historical tourist event”, “... an event to popularize crafts and folk traditions” and “... an event dedicated to Ecology Day”. Bright hall: “The best event tourism site”, “The best tourist event in the field of gastronomy” and “Children’s tourism event”. Dark hall: “The idea of a tourist event”, “Business tourist event” “Popularization of tourist events” “The best youth tourist event”.
The closing ceremony and awarding of the winners will take place on October 13 at 15.00 in the Marble Hall of the Vladimir Regional Philharmonic.
Last weekend - October 28 and 29 - the organizers of the National Russian Event Awards summed up the results of a large-scale competition for the best event in the field of event tourism based on the results of 2017.
639 projects from 65 regions of Russia were submitted to the competition. The finalists were chosen in Lipetsk. And the regional stages took place in Kazan (September 30 - October 1 - Volga and Ural federal districts), Irkutsk (October 6-7 - Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts) and (October 12-13 Central, North-Western, North Caucasus and South federal districts). 197 projects from 48 regions of the country reached the finals of the national award.
The Vladimir region has collected an impressive harvest of National Prize trophies.
First place in category "Municipal Tourist Information Center" The Tourist Information Center of the city of Vladimir took third place, and the third place was taken by the Tourism Development Center of the Inter-Settlement House of Folk Art and Crafts of the Gorokhovetsky District.
Another first place went to representatives of the Vladimir region in the category "Children's tourism event"- the Sudogod holiday Mosquito Day was declared the winner.
Grand Prix in the category “The best tourist event dedicated to the Year of Ecology” presented to the organizers of Forest Day, which is held in the Sudogodsky district of the Vladimir region.
In nomination "Tourism event in the field of sports" representatives of the Vladimir region received a special prize “For promoting and repositioning the city as a tourist destination.” The award-winning VeloLeto festival was held in Suzdal for the first time this year.
In nomination “Event in the field of popularization of event tourism” First place was shared by the St. Petersburg motorcycle festival St. Petersburg Harley Days and the All-Russian Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in the capital of the holiday, held annually in Murom.

Two Vladimir festivals - “Okroshka in the Russian Village” and “Medovukha Fest” - were awarded by the vice-president National Association of Gastronomic Heritage and Tourism Guardians "OCHAG" by Oleg Alekseev. However, in addition to the Vladimir region, Alekseev generously distributed awards to representatives of 13 more regions.
The final of the National Award in the field of event tourism, Russian Event Awards 2018, took place in Nizhny Novgorod. The event was organized with the information support of the Federal Tourism Agency.
The national award in the field of event tourism, Russian Event Awards, was established in 2012 as an industry award, awarded based on the results of an open competition of projects for achievements in the development of the event tourism industry.
In total, 578 projects from 60 regions of the country were submitted for participation in the Award this year. Regional competitions were held for all federal districts of the country, the finals of which took place in Irkutsk(Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts), Cheboksary(Volga and Ural federal districts), as well as in Tambov(North Caucasus, Southern, Central and Northwestern federal districts).

The national award “Russian Event Awards” was established in 2012 in Voronezh as an industry award, awarded based on the results of an open competition of projects for achievements in the development of the event tourism industry. Conducted with the support of the Federal Tourism Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosturizm).
In total, in 2015, 688 projects from 353 settlements, representing 69 regions of the country, were submitted for the Prize.
The Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky took part in the solemn ceremony of awarding the Prize laureates, which took place on October 22 on the territory of the Korston State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

The national award in the field of event tourism “Russian Event Awards” with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation is awarded for achievements in the development of the event tourism industry. Projects from government, commercial, non-profit organizations and structures, and educational institutions participate in the open competition. For the first time, the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts are taking part in the National Award in the field of event tourism. The organizer of such a large-scale event in Vladivostok was the Foundation for the Promotion of Integrated Development and Branding of Territories. 147 applications from two districts were submitted to the executive directorate of the regional stage to participate in the competition nominations:
The best project in the field of culture (festivals, competitions, concerts, carnivals, performances; opening of museums, theaters, exhibition halls).
The best project in the field of sports (competitions, sports rallies, festivals of extreme sports).
The best historical project (historical reconstructions; festivals dedicated to historical dates and events).

Applications were evaluated by an Expert Council of 20 tourism professionals from all over Russia. 77 best projects were selected to participate in the finals. The final events took place on the FEFU campus on the island. Russian.
On September 27, the defense of projects took place at the FEFU Scientific Library. The Expert Council assessed projects according to five criteria: originality of concept, significance, scale of audience involvement, project prospects and role in promoting the territory.
On September 28, at the awards ceremony, awards were presented to the Prize laureates. Projects that received 1st place and the Grand Prix of the regional competition will be automatically included in the shortlist of the finals of the National Award.
In 2014, within the framework of the National Russian Event Awards, 5 regional competitions will be held: Rostov-on-Don - Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts, Syktyvkar - Northwestern and Ural Federal Districts, Yaroslavl - Central Federal District, Vladivostok - Siberian Federal District and Far Eastern Federal District, Samara - Volga Federal District.
The winners of the Regional competitions will take part in the finals of the National Award in the field of event tourism “Russian Event Awards” in December 2014 in Kirov.
