The Phi Phi Islands (or Phi Phi - as the Thais themselves call them) are one of the most impressive holiday destinations in Thailand. There are five of them, but only the largest of them, Phi Phi Don, is inhabited. The rest are visited by tourists as part of one-day excursions, and rest on the wonderful white sand, surrounded by nature untouched by civilization, is simply magnificent. Therefore, the main visitors here are the newlyweds (after all, they only need each other's company), and lovers of the sea. The most famous of these small islands is Koh Phi Phi Ley, where the widely acclaimed film The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed in Maya Bay.

The area is known for its eye-catching landscapes, breathtaking sheer cliffs and, of course, the wonderful beaches surrounded by soaring limestone cliffs.

Add to all this crystal clear, just emerald water, the complete absence of roads, carefree pastime, and you will immediately understand why these places are rightfully considered one of the most popular resorts in Thailand.

This is a very quiet and bohemian corner for a relaxing holiday. There are no roads here, so bike, boat and your own feet are the only modes of transport available. Hikers will definitely love this.

Most tourists consider them as a short visit beach for 1-2 days or just a place for transit during some kind of excursion. The closest are such popular resorts as Phuket and Krabi - a couple of hours on a boat will cost 200-300 baht. The drive from Phuket will take approximately one and a half hours, most tourists arrive between 9 am and 3 pm. However, a well-developed infrastructure makes it possible to stay here for a longer period.

There are shops, cafes, restaurants, housing of various quality and price, many excursions to nearby islands, a gorgeous coast and the sea. In the evening, they usually light up at open-air discos a la Full Moon Party or just enjoy contemplating the picturesque surroundings in some cafe on the seashore.

Is there the best of all the local beaches? Or are they all equally beautiful? Of course, they are all wonderful and definitely worth a visit. And do not look for "your" - visit all! There are so many wonderful beaches in Thailand!

Since the Don Island is the center of the entire tourist movement, we will try to talk about its sights in the first place. Although, as you understand, no place popular with tourists can keep its virgin purity, beauty and charm for a long time. The same applies to its beaches. What was there is no longer there, and those who were here 7-8 years ago cannot literally feel the difference with tears in their eyes. Therefore, those who want to see the real splendor of pristine nature simply take an excursion to the neighboring uninhabited Koh Yung (Mosquito Island), Bida Nai or Bida Nok, or Phi Phi Ley, and enjoy peace and beauty there.

Laem Tong Beach on Koh Phi Phi Don

The most remote and probably the most exclusive beach for holidays in these parts is Laem Thong. It is located between the crystal clear sea and four resorts: the chic Zeavola, the four-star Holiday Inn and the three-star P.P. Erawan Palms and Phi Phi Natural Resort.

Not far from it is Bamboo Island, Mosquito Island and Hin Klang - all three islets provide you with excellent snorkeling spots. A little further you will see the no less chic island of Koh Lanta. It seems that they are very close, but you can only get to them by boat.

Laem Tong itself is beautiful, wide, covered with white soft sand and it is always very quiet and calm here. This part of the coast with excellent soft sand is considered the most calm and secluded.

The seabed gradually decreases in depth, then corals begin, gradually turning into a large colorful reef. This is a very good place for diving.

Along the entire length of Laem Tong, groups of trees are scattered, in the shade of which they hide from the sun. This may be important, because all umbrellas and sunbeds are intended exclusively for guests of expensive resorts located here. There are also several restaurants on the shore, offering a menu of Thai boliuds and freshly caught fish. However, the number of tables in them is limited, so if you want to dine in them in the evening, then you need to book a table in advance. Eating during the day won't be a problem.

Laem Tong Beach is very laid back, however it can offer you some action that can give you some adrenaline. Warm calm waters and a light breeze, constant and without gusts, are great for windsurfing, everything you need for which can be rented from hotels.
Sail a little further from the coast, and in front of you will be wonderful places for diving with a mask and a tube, for snorkeling. At the northern end, in front of the Phi Phi Natural Resort, there is a wide coral reef, which is not rough at all, and at low tide even in places appears above the surface of the sea.
Many tourists rent a boat to explore the nearby islands - Bamboo and Mosquito, which can be seen just lying on the sand, or you can take a closer look at them on a boat. If you agree in advance with the owner of the boat to wait for you, then it is advisable to combine this walk with wonderful snorkeling. Fortunately, the corals near there are simply wonderful.
For the more advanced who are interested in diving, there are several dive centers offering both diving training courses and simply exciting underwater walks accompanied by an instructor.
Before sunset, locals, hotel workers and vacationers come here to play football or volleyball. If you wish, join.

Pak Nam Beach on Koh Phi Phi Don.

Pak Nam is located on the east coast. A small secret piece of the coast with a fishing village has become a paradise for lovers of peace and tranquility. It is especially popular among lovers of a relaxing holiday filled with peace and quiet. It is only about 150 meters long, surrounded by lush hills, located in a cozy and inconspicuous bay with views of Bamboo Island and the southern coast of Krabi. It is better to get to this small bay by boat - by land the road is very uneven and difficult.

This beach is also known as Relax Beach. He really deserves that title. Recently, it has become increasingly difficult to find the untouched remains of wildlife in Thailand. However, in some remote bays, you can get a glimpse of what is called paradise. The same applies to Pak Nam, where you can find peace and solitude at any time of the year surrounded by a yet pristine tropical environment.

There are many shady places under lush vegetation, soft white sand, clear turquoise waters and a fairly large coral reef, located at a shallow depth, a few tens of meters from the coast. All you need is a mask and snorkel. The reef lies in shallow water, so fins are not required.

You can go fishing with the locals, having previously agreed on the amount. At the northern end of Relax Beach, you can see the village of sea gypsies, where you can get to know the way of life of the locals and watch how the women untangle the morning catch brought by the men from the nets.

The isolation of Relax Beach is what makes it very attractive for lovers of a quiet pastime. Usually such quiet corners of nature are very fond of people following an impossible dream - to find a secluded corner in paradise, and given the courtesy of the local staff, you will not be bothered here. All you need to relax is a simple mat or towel. Sun loungers are mainly intended for guests of the Relax The Beach Resort, but if you pay a nominal amount, you can use them, the same goes for the toilets. The restaurant stands on the shore, you can dine both under a thatched roof and in the shade of trees. Given the monopoly on the gastronomic service, the prices here are much higher than in Tonsai (a small bottle of water is 30 baht), but still acceptable. Snorkeling mask and fins can be rented from Relax The Beach Resort.

Maya Bay beach on Phi Phi Ley.

This is perhaps the most popular place in the local area thanks to the film of the same name. It is located in the bay of the same name, surrounded by high limestone cliffs. Most tourists buy an excursion here from Phuket just to visit here. And in general, these picturesque places gained fame precisely after this film, and before that there was no pilgrimage of vacationers here.

The bay is really very picturesque, but the waterfall and hemp plantations that were in the film are not here, to the disappointment of tourists. These scenes were filmed in a completely different location.

Maya Bay is part of a natural national park, so you will need to pay to visit it.

Contrary to expectations, it is small - only about 200 meters. Near the coast you will find a large number of picturesque coral reefs with fish.

This beach is very popular, therefore, again to your disappointment, almost 200 people trample near the water all day long, and there can be no talk of any solitude that the rest of the islands are famous for. In order to feel the atmosphere of this place and enjoy its beauty, you need to come here either in the morning before 8 am or in the evening after 5 pm by renting a water taxi.

The Viking Cave - the second attraction - is located on the north coast, and is famous for the rock paintings of ancient people. Almost all of the drawings have a water theme, which suggests that these people were sailors, and the boats look like Viking ships (hence the name). In addition, in the Viking cave you can see the nests of swallows. These nests are built not from branches and leaves, but from the saliva of swallows. They are used in cooking and are considered a delicacy (their price is appropriate). The Thais collect these nests in order to sell them (usually to China, where they are especially popular).

For the sake of such wonderful places, it is really worth coming here.

We will continue the story about the best beaches on Phi Phi in the following materials - learn more about Ton Sai, Long Beach and Lo Dalam.

I always advise choosing and booking in advance. After all, the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand are an extremely popular destination among beach enthusiasts. And if you are relaxing on Phi Phi in Krabi, which lasts from November to March, prices will be significantly higher than in summer or autumn.

Therefore, it is very important to prepare in advance, especially if you are planning to go to Thailand on Phi Phi on your own. This is due not only to the high popularity of these islands among tourists from all over the world, but also to the fact that the owners of resorts and hotels do not bargain in the winter months, because there are practically no vacant places at this time. And the usual practice for Thailand, common among independent travelers, is to come and find a decent hotel on the spot, it will work on Phi Phi only during the rainy season.

To make it easier for you to choose good accommodation and book a room in advance, I suggest that you take a look at my review of the best hotels in Phi Phi, which includes good hotels on party beaches and 5-star hotels in the northern part of the island, where they come for a relaxed holiday.

Phi Phi Islands in Thailand

It will not be superfluous to recall that phi phi islands is a small archipelago located in the Andaman Sea and is part of the Krabi province in Thailand. It consists of several islands - Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Le, Bamboo and Mosquito. A national park is laid out on the territory of the islands, designed to preserve the unique flora and fauna of Phi Phi.

An interesting fact about the Phi Phi Islands: The famous conservation enthusiast Leonardo DiCaprio, who starred in the movie "The Beach" on Phi Phi, is trying hard to help keep his favorite location in its original form. Therefore, the Phi Phi Islands have a status and are famous for their exceptionally clean beaches and well-preserved nature.

Visiting the Phi Phi Islands is very easy. To do this, you just need to order there from or from Phuket. Or get on your own by ferry (see). But to live in a hotel in Phi Phi during your vacation is a truly exclusive adventure. Of course, it is worth mentioning that there are hotels only on one island, on the largest one, which is called Phi Phi Don(which translates from Thai as "Big Phi Phi"). The rest of the islands can also be visited as part of various excursions, including the famous one, which served as a living backdrop for the filming of the famous film "The Beach" about life in Thailand.

Therefore, in this article, when I say simply Phi Phi or “Phi Phi Island”, I will mean exclusively, on which numerous hotels and resorts are built for an unforgettable vacation.

As you can probably already guess, hotels in Phi Phi very many, despite the small size of this island, which in its shape is a few mountain peaks connected by an isthmus. It is on this isthmus that almost all hotels are concentrated. Moreover, they are sometimes so close to each other that the passage between them is more like narrow streets somewhere in the center of Bangkok. Because of this, some of the cheapest hotel rooms don't even have windows. And therefore, you can spend the night in such rooms only with air conditioning.

However, such not very pleasant accommodation conditions in inexpensive hotels on Phi Phi are still very popular among backpackers who have found their paradise on this island. You can easily find these hotels on the website Booking.com, and I will not consider them at all in my selection. I myself have not lived in such rooms for a long time and I will not advise you either.

It's important to know:

  • In addition to inexpensive hotels for backpackers living and having fun at the main pier on Tonsai Beach and at the opposite Lo Dalam Beach, on the territory of the tropical island of Phi Phi there are many more beaches and cute coves, next to which there are very good hotels with spacious rooms and the opportunity to feel yourself in a tropical paradise, having rested one hundred percent.
  • As I already said, if you are planning to relax in the winter, then the best Phi Phi hotels should be booked in advance through the Booking.com website, which guarantees the best price, where even in the high season there are often discounts and low prices, which, of course, you will not expect if come to the island with the intention of finding a hotel on the spot.
  • It is worth bearing in mind that the mountainous landscape of Phi Phi Island may seem quite heavy to some. After all, someone may not like walking uphill to their hotel several times a day. So this nuance should be taken into account when choosing a hotel and do not settle far from the beach.

Despite its small size, Phi Phi Island can be conditionally divided into three parts:

  1. party beaches Tonsai And Lo Dalam, located in the central part on the isthmus and at the pier, are best suited for youth recreation and Thai night life;
  2. calm beach Long Beach in the south of the island, where you can find a quiet and cozy family hotel, and if necessary, quickly swim to the shops and bars of Lo Dalam;
  3. northern beaches Lo Ba Cao And Laem Tong, isolated and very calm, where it is best to go to those who intend to spend their holidays in silence and not go anywhere, but only relax in a luxury hotel with a private beach and swimming pool.

The main thing to know about Tonsai beach to all vacationers, that this is the place where all boats arriving on Phi Phi Island land. Therefore, during the day there are always a lot of tourists who come on a tour of the national park, and swimming is not very pleasant. This is the main disadvantage of this beach.

And the advantages of Tonsai are that the entire infrastructure is concentrated here: shops, bars and inexpensive hotels. In addition, the western and eastern parts of the beach are quite suitable for swimming. It is there that I recommend the best hotel in Tonsai:

1. Phi Phi Cliff Beach Resort 4*(rating 8.2) is located on the western part of Tonsai on Phi Phi, where the beach is better. By the way, it is cleaned of debris every day by special workers, so it is quite suitable for relaxation. The hotel fits well into the rock and is a large multi-storey building with a wonderful pool and restaurant. The rooms are incredibly spacious (72 m2) and have their own kitchen. Room price $99 to $250 for two a day.

2. Another great hotel PP Princess Resort 4*(grade 7.7 ) located on Lo Dalam beach. This is a real island of luxury among a noisy party, distinguished by its modern spacious rooms. Everything you need to relax is nearby: the beach, bars and discos. On the territory of the not very large Princes Resort hotel it is quite quiet, but it is better to stay in rooms whose windows and balconies overlook the garden, and not on neighboring hotels. If the local beach is not quite suitable for you to relax, then you can always take a boat to Long Beach or other secluded bays on Phi Phi. The room price is $95 to $150 for two a day.

Phi Phi hotels on Long Beach

Next, I turn to Long Beach on Phi Phi. Best hotel here Paradise Resort Phi Phi 3*(rating 7.8 ). It is moderately priced from $50 behind the bungalow up to $130 for a beach villa). The rooms are cozy and clean, although small, but the villas near the beach are quite spacious. The most important thing that absolutely all vacationers in Paradise Resort like is a very beautiful beach with white sand. It is good that in the evenings and at night it is very quiet here. And early in the morning, reef sharks swim up to Shark point!

You can get here by boat from Tonsai Pier, or walk along the trail through the jungle, which will especially appeal to lovers of adventure and trekking.

Hotel on Long Beach - Paradise Resort Phi Phi 3 * with a private beach

Phi Phi hotels on Lo Ba Khao beach

Another great beach on Phi Phi Island in Krabi is called Lo Ba Cao(Lo Ba Kao). It has a luxurious 5-star hotel. Phi Phi Island Village Beach(rating 8.5 ) with swimming pool and private beach. The guests call it the little Maldives. And I have to believe, because here everything is really very similar to

The beaches of Koh Phi Phi Don

Since the only inhabited island of the archipelago is Phi Phi Don, most tourists are interested in its beaches. On the area of the island, leaving only 28 square kilometers, there are as many as seven beaches. Three of them are in the south, one in the central part, one in the north and two more in the east. Let's talk about everything in order.

Ton Sai Bay

The first southern beach occupies a place in Tonsai Bay near the settlement of the same name. It's called Ton Sai Bay. Due to the proximity of the island's infrastructure center and the port, where ferries from other parts of Thailand land, this beach is the most famous and, as a result, the dirtiest. Sometimes it is problematic to enter the water due to the fact that the moored ships stand almost close to each other in the bay. The beach itself is spacious and white, but it is not easy to appreciate its beauty: the pier spoils everything. The main roads of Phi Phi Don originate from Tonsai, it is convenient to live here if you are going to ride around the islands of the archipelago or visit neighboring resorts. In general, the place is quite noisy, but very colorful. Hotels by the beach: Mama Beach Residence 3*, P.P. Palmtree Resort 3* .

Laem Hin

The next beach - Laem Hin (Laem Hin) is separated from the previous one by high cliffs. If not for them, Laem Hin would be part of Tonsai. However, there are no boats on it and swimming is much more pleasant. The beach has cobblestones, there are places with sand. For a fee, you can rent a sunbed and an umbrella. In addition, a wonderful view of the western part of the island opens up from the coast. The popular Phi Phi Andaman Legacy Hotel is located on this beach.

long beach

Another beach in the southern part of the island and Ton Sai Bay, Long Beach, is different from the previous two. It is a good distance away from Tonsai's entertainment venues and is quiet at night. Despite the abundance of tourists, the beach is quite clean. All the necessary infrastructure - cafes, restaurants, water rides, sports equipment rentals, shops - is present. Including, here are the most popular hotels, such as Viking Nature Resort 3 * , Phi Phi The Beach Resort .

Loh Dalam Bay

In the central part of the Phi Phi Don resort, opposite Tonsai, there is Loh Dalam (Dalum) Bay beach. It bears the name of the bay on the shore of which it is located. The beach is relatively small, but there are usually few vacationers on it. Perhaps the reason for the low tide is the fact that during low tide the water goes down so much that it becomes almost impossible to swim. Nearby hotels are JJ Residence, PP Princess Resort and others.

Loh Lanna Bay

The fifth beach, northern, is called Loh Lanna and is located in the bay with the same name (Loh Lanna Bay) not far from the observation deck. There are always few tourists on it, as there are no hotels nearby. This beach, like most of the beaches of Koh Phi Phi Don, is shallow, and then at low tide it is unlikely to swim here. But you can enjoy the beauties of the local, still almost untouched by civilization, nature. No transport goes here, so you can get to Lo Lanna only on a rented boat. Or walk along the path leading from Tonsai to the observation deck. Go - about an hour.

Laem Tong Beach

Eastern beaches, Laem Tong Beach and Loh Bagao Bay will appeal to lovers of tranquility, discreet luxury and diving.

On the first of them, Laem Tong Beach, there are expensive and popular hotels (such as Phi Phi Natural Resort, P.P. Erawan Palms Resort, Holiday Inn Resort Phi Phi Island), as well as good restaurants and pleasant lounge bars. The beach is very well looked after, there is no garbage on it, but there are a lot of sunbeds and umbrellas. From this beach you can take a boat to Bamboo Island or Mosqito Island.

Loh Bagao Bay

Loh Bagao Beach, located on Loh Bagao Bay, is very spacious and quiet. Here, as on the previous beach, there are excellent opportunities for diving and snorkeling. Even at low tide you can swim and dive here. In the south of Lo Bagao there is a coral reef, which only increases its attractiveness for divers. Nearby hotels are Phi Phi Ba Kao Bay Resort 3 *, PP Red Tuna Hut 2 * and others.

In addition to the listed beaches, the island has many secret coves and small secluded beaches that are not known to a wide range of vacationers. You can get to many of them only by water, on a rented boat. Try to find your own oasis in Phi Phi!

The beaches of Koh Phi Phi Le

This island is home to the world-famous bay and Maya Bay, where the 1999 film The Beach was filmed. Even the laziest tourist who got to the archipelago will definitely visit it. The island of Phi Phi Le, formed by tall limestone cliffs that keep traces of the stay of ancient people, is amazingly beautiful and uninhabited to this day. You can come here only during the season (beginning of November - end of April). The rest of the time, waves rage around and it is very dangerous to swim to the island by boat.

Maya Bay was not without reason chosen as the location for filming the island paradise. It's so flawless it looks like it's painted on. Just imagine: transparent turquoise water, snow-white shore surrounded by 100-meter cliffs, an abundance of tropical vegetation, the richest underwater world and bright corals! A visit to this legendary place is a must! You can sail here with a guided tour, or on your own by renting a boat. We recommend choosing the second option and sailing here either in the early morning or closer to sunset (after 5 pm). The rest of the time, the island is full of tourists, and more than a dozen boats crowd the coast, which makes it difficult to enjoy the surrounding beauty. The distance between the islands of Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Le is less than two kilometers.

There is nothing here but a single tent with a modest selection of snacks and drinks and a small barbecue area. Yes, there are toilets behind the beach. But there are no restaurants, no bars, and, moreover, places where one could stay for the night on the island. Therefore, it is better to take provisions with you. And those who want to spend the night here can also bring a tent.

In search of new experiences, diving sites, secluded bays and heavenly lagoons, we advise you to go to the neighboring islands of the archipelago. Wonderful beaches and coral reefs take you to Bamboo Island. However, you should not be limited to visiting only half of the Phi Phi Islands. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely visit them all: each of them is beautiful in its own way and worthy of your separate visit.

Beaches count. Truly such magnificent beaches are hard to find anywhere else in the world. The islands are replete with quiet bays and lagoons, in which snow-white sand is adjacent to the magnificent waters of the gentle tropical sea.

The best advertisement for the islands is the fact that this coast was chosen by the Hollywood filmmakers with such a telling name - "The Beach". Today, locals take special pride in showing tourists and travelers the protected areas that remember Leonardo DiCaprio and other stars.

Laem Tong Beach

Laem Thong is the most secluded and at the same time the most prestigious beach of the island of Phi Phi Dong. Its remoteness makes this beach a great holiday destination for lovers of solitude and luxury.

On the territory of Laem Thong Beach there are four Zeanova, Holiday Inn, P.P. Frawan Palms, Phi Phi Natural Resort. This beach is considered an elite vacation spot for divers., insofar as in the immediate vicinity of it there are the islands of Bamboo, Mosquito, Hin Klang, which attract divers from all over the world. For divers, Laem Tong offers to plunge into the wonderful world of coral reefs, and all this at comfortable depths.

Despite some remoteness, Laem Thong Beach offers its guests excellent opportunities for both passive recreation and active pastime. At the service of vacationers are excellent sports grounds, as well as instructors in windsurfing and snorkeling and fishing. For a long time vacationers will remember exciting boat trips on the lagoon.

Pak Nam Beach

Another great beach on Koh Phi Phi Don is Pak Nam. Pak Nam is a former fishing village and the easiest way to get to it is by boat or boat, because the land route is complicated by difficult terrain and depends on the weather.

Fishing traditions are still carefully preserved on this beach. Tourists are offered to participate in traditional fishing. And here there is the possibility of both fishing from the shore or boat, and spearfishing.

The main beach hotel is the five-star Relax The Beach Resort, which offers its visitors excellent conditions for recreation. Here, tourists can enjoy the clean and warm sea, the amazing white sandy coast, representatives of exotic flora are scattered all over the beach, in the shade of which you can relax from the tropical sun.

In the coastal jungle, you can meet representatives of the local fauna, primarily a variety of birds and small peaceful reptiles.

Maya Bay Beach

It was this paradise of the island of Phi Phi Ley that became the location for filming the Hollywood masterpiece with Leonardo DiCaprio. The film set is the main attraction of the beach, thanks to which Maya Bay can hardly be called a place for a secluded holiday.

Tourists should be prepared for the fact that they will have to share their vacation with another two hundred travelers. However, this beach, as well as all the other beaches of the archipelago, offers visitors excellent conditions for staying. There is something for lovers of passive recreation, and for fans of active pastime. There is a diving center on the beaches, rental of catamarans, scooters and surfboards.

Another highlight of Maya Bay is the famous Viking Cave. This place is famous for amazing ancient rock paintings that allow you to get to know the unique culture of the indigenous people of the islands. In addition, the cave is simply replete with nests of swallows, which the local population uses to prepare unique Thai dishes.

Long Beach

The name of the beach speaks for itself, Long Beach is perhaps the most popular holiday destination in the archipelago. The beach offers amazing views of both the island of Phi Phi Don and the neighboring Phi Phi ley. The highlight of the beach is the picturesque mountain peaks of Tonsai, which surround Long Beach with a kind of natural wall. The waters of the eponymous lagoon are distinguished by extraordinary purity and tranquility, and also abound in excellent places for divers.

Two five-star hotels Viking Nature and Phi Phi TheBeach Resort are located on the beach. Fans of extreme sports will certainly be interested in the picturesque rock Shark Point, which is a gathering place for huge flocks of sharks, many of which exceed one and a half meters in length. Also, beach visitors can go to the neighboring fishing village of Tonsai, where you can buy unique souvenirs and get acquainted with the living conditions of the local population.

Loh Dalum Beach

Lo Dalam Beach - occupies a significant place among the most popular beaches of Phi Phi Island. It stretches along the northern edge of the sandy spit, which unites parts of the island. It is, as it were, the “twin brother” of Tonsai Beach, which is located on the other side of the spit, although there is no pier, boat parking, like his “brother” has. What it has more for a beach holiday. It offers a stunning view of the neighboring rocks, we can safely say that these two islands are among the most beautiful beaches of the island. But this beauty has its drawbacks - it is shallow water.

Lo Dalam is good for swimming only at high tide, but if the tide goes almost to the center of the bay, but even this natural phenomenon gives the island some fabulous mystery. It is simply a must to see it, but in order to enjoy scuba diving in crystal clear water, it is best to go to the neighboring beaches of the island.

Loh ba kao Beach

When you get to Lo Ba Kao beach, you find yourself, as it were, in a coconut beach in paradise. It is surrounded by beautiful cliffs and hills with a multifaceted green color, the beach goes into the green - bluish waters of the Andaman Sea. The beach is located in Lo Ba Khao Bay, one of the mysteries of Phi Phi Island. And it is an ideal place for a relaxing, family or romantic getaway. It is very easy to get to the beach by sea on a boat, because by land it takes longer and is not comfortable.

This is not an ordinary beach in our imagination, it is not crowded, no one will prevent you from enjoying the beauties of this paradise on Earth. And this is practically the main highlight of the beach. Divers and rock climbers come here from all over the world.

Loh Moh Dee Beach

People go to Lo Mo Di beach not for the usual beach party, but for peace and pleasure, here the air breathes with peace. On the beautiful beach, the traveler will meet only a few bungalows and a bar. On the one hand, the beach is surrounded by a palm grove, on the other hand, the water of the sea is warm, like fresh milk.

Therefore, this beach is so popular among tourists who love a relaxing holiday away from civilization. The beauty of this place adds a huge number of shady places where it is so nice to hide from the midday sun. Loh Mo beach offers amazing views of the neighboring island, here you are overwhelmed with a sense of spaciousness, so the horizon is open. You will meet flocks of wild monkeys here more often than people, this is the feeling of pristine Lo Mo Di

The Phi Phi archipelago awaits guests and guarantees a great vacation on the shores of a fabulous tropical sea!

Phi Phi or Phi Phi (as the Thais call them) are twin islands of extraordinary beauty off the coast of Thailand. The beaches of Phi Phi amaze with their pristine splendor, just look at the photo. There are no people on the half of Lei, it is uninhabited. Here you will not find any hotels, shops or restaurants. This place promises the perfect vacation for those who love privacy.

Many famous Hollywood films were filmed in Phi Phi. For example, the actors of the film about James Bond and Leonardo DiCaprio, who played one of the main roles in the movie "The Beach", visited here.

Phi Phi is also a paradise for those who love excursions. Here you can visit the Viking Cave, and go on trips to the picturesque lagoons, and see the Anemone Reef with your own eyes, and scuba dive into Van Long Cave, and also go on excursions to the shark den ... But this is a completely different story.

The highlight of the Phi Phi beaches are unique diving sites. Coral reefs will delight those who prefer to spend their holidays with scuba or snorkeling.

But this is all in general, and now let's look at all the best beaches of Phi Phi Island.

Unique and "most-most" beaches of Phi Phi

Only on Phi Phi you can combine pleasant and ... pleasant. The fact is that there is one unique beach here, where, in addition to sunbathing and swimming in the sea, you can enjoy the company of four-legged friends - monkeys. This wilderness island is located 700 meters west of Tonsai Bay.

Tourist warning! It is not recommended to approach the monkeys. Still, wild animals. You can take pictures in front of them and feed them fruit.

2. On the island of Leh, they say, the softest sand. To experience this, head to Long Beach.

3. The calmest Phi Phi beach is Laem Thong. You can only get here by boat, so you may be the only ones on the coast.

4. The most famous Phi Phi beach is Maya Bay, where Leonardo DiCaprio himself was filmed in the movie The Beach. Attention! If you arrived at Maya Bay by boat, you will have to pay entry fees, as this place is part of a national nature reserve.

5. The most bohemian and crowded beach is located near the village of Tonsai. During the day, crowds of tourists always roam here, which sharply thin out with the departure of the last ferry.

At night, Tonsai shudders to the rhythms of local discos. So all lovers of night rest on vacation should go here.

6. 150 meters of paradise on Phi Phi is Loh Dalum beach. It is known worldwide as one of the most idyllic places. It is quiet and picturesque here.

7. The best place for servers is Haat Ranti beach. There are always high waves that are suitable for outdoor activities on the water.

8. The youngest resort of Phi Phi is Don, but it is developing almost at the speed of sound.

9. The largest beach of the islands is Thong Sai. Here, tourists are waiting for picturesque thickets of coconut palms, a lot of sea and white sand.

If you have long dreamed of a fabulous vacation somewhere in a remote corner where there is practically no civilization, you need to go on vacation to Phi Phi Island. Here you can find deserted beaches, quiet places to relax. There are not even cars on Phi Phi, and, therefore, the air here is the cleanest. Why not heaven?
