But then we started another song. Hoping that we would find tickets for 300-400 baht per person, we did not change dollars. Therefore, there was not even 1000 in baht. There is no trace of an exchanger here! But the terminal workers kindly agree to exchange dollars for baht at the rate of 100 $ = 2900 baht. In Patong they gave us 3200. A very unpleasant situation!! What should we do?! Max went to look for a bank or exchange office. An hour of his wandering in search of local currency and an hour of my suffering due to his long absence. And what in the end?! I went to the hotel - they don’t change money there, I found a bank - it was closed. They wanted to withdraw from the card, but there was a commission of 180 baht. What the hell?! To change for 2900 the toad is strangling us. But we did not despair. And in the end, a kind man took us to the owner of one of the cafes, who exchanged our 100 dollars for 3,100 baht. She also had reasonable prices for food. We bought tickets for 19:20 and went to eat. It so happened that we sat down at a table next to a pimply homosexual, who turned out to be the son of the owners of the eatery. A guy with long nails and a coiffed hairstyle quickly chatted with us, telling us that he was going to see his boyfriend in Bangkok, and then to Singapore. The funniest thing was when we asked for “ice”. His mother brought ice. He sees that we are sitting and chatting with him and says, stroking his head: “This is my daughter and my son.” There are a lot of gay homies in Asia!
