Non-standard baggage

Depending on which of them the airline chose, the calculation methods are as follows:
- The highest maximum for the Economy Class fare serves as the basis for calculations.
- The cost set individually by the company serves as the basis on which the calculation is made in each individual case.
Taking into account the high tariff threshold for economy class, 1.5% of the total tariff will be taken for 1 kg of excess.
In the case of individual prices for exceeded 1 kg, companies charge in European currency using the following range - 5-15 Euros.
How and where to pay

Aeroflot is the only company in Russia to use a piece measure when transporting baggage. This means that the number of pieces suitcases for one passenger.

How many kilograms can Aeroflot carry?
Carry 23 kilograms in a suitcase, which will fly in the luggage compartment, and you can take another 10 kilograms into the aircraft cabin. So an economy class ticket for an Aeroflot plane includes 33 free kilograms.
Be careful, since February 2018, additional control has been introduced on the amount of things at check-in and when boarding the plane, employees will check the size, weight and number of bags. They will inspect everything: hand luggage, things in the cabin, suitcases checked in. If the norm is exceeded, they will calculate how much to pay for the excess. Aeroflot measures luggage not in kilograms, but in pieces - pack things in one suitcase. And for carry-on luggage there are size restrictions (about them a little below). But if all your things together weigh less than 10 kilograms, the number of bags will not be counted.
Carry-on baggage on an Aeroflot plane
Take one small suitcase 55x40x25 centimeters into the salon. Make sure that only permitted items are inside and that the dimensions are respected. If the size is exceeded, the bag will be sent to the luggage compartment, and you will be charged an extra charge.
During February 2018 Aeroflot twice changed the requirements for the size of hand luggage on the plane: the original 55x40x20 centimeters have now been replaced by 55x40x25 centimeters - this is a cabin size suitcase.

Aeroflot: what you can and cannot carry in your checked and carry-on baggage
Do not take any poisons, weapons, toxic or dangerous substances on the plane. Aerosol deodorant, hairspray and other sprays - pack in a suitcase, they won't let you into the salon. Better to replace it with dry and liquid analogs or buy it on the spot.
Take a thermometer, tonometer, 2 kilograms of dry ice, a disposable lighter and 100 ml of hydrogen peroxide in your hand luggage - of course, if you need any of this.
Hand over everything liquid and jelly-like at check-in, you won't be able to enjoy grandmother's jam in flight. If you take it to the cockpit, pack liquids in small bottles of up to 100 milliliters in volume and no more than one liter per person. 
Segway, hoverboard and electric scooter will have to be left at home, or the battery will have to be taken out and the vehicle checked in. A battery less than 160 Watt-hour will be allowed to be loaded onto the plane, and in hand luggage. And the more powerful ones will only issue them as dangerous goods.
What does 1PC baggage mean on an Aeroflot ticket?
Did you meet the 1PC mark on your ticket reservation? - This is a measure of baggage in the quantitative system of transportation. Literally 1PC means 1 piece, that is, one piece. Shows the number of suitcases you can carry on the plane.

Oversized baggage on an Aeroflot plane
If your suitcase weighs from 32 to 50 kilograms, and the sum of all measurements is more than 203 centimeters, the luggage is considered non-standard. Inform the airline 36 hours before departure that you are carrying non-standard baggage. Call the call center, indicate the reservation number and the characteristics of each place: weight and dimensions, they will also ask about the nature of the cargo.
If the oversized baggage is presented only at check-in, it can be sent on the next flight, since there is not enough free space in the baggage compartment.

Safe packaging is your concern. To prevent oversized baggage from being damaged by movers, pack it carefully and securely, preferably in a special case, and ask for a fragile cargo sticker - then they will be more careful with it.
Fragile and valuable baggage is transported in a separate passenger seat. You will have to buy another ticket at the regular rate, and the cargo will get a seat at the window.
