There is amazing places, in which nature tries to hide its secrets from our prying eyes. Mountain range Belukha in the Altai Mountains - the mysterious Belovodye - is just such a place.

The great Russian artist, writer and philosopher Nicholas Roerich, traveling in Altai in 1926, approached Mount Belukha along the valley of the Akkem River. He wrote in the book “Altai - Himalayas”: “The water in Akkem is milky white. Pure Belovodye ... On the seventeenth of August we saw Belukha. It was so clean and clear. Straight Zvenigorod. "

At the very beginning of the XXI century, as part of a group, I walked to the foot of Belukha by the same route. The trip was remembered not only for the beauty of the mountain peaks, the whiteness of the two-headed Belukha, the transparency of the waters of the Akkem Lake and the brightness of the flowers of the alpine meadows, but also for the manifestation of the unusual properties of that area. Even the name of the Akkem River, if you read it the other way around - Mecca - indicates that Belukha itself and the surrounding area are sacred territory.

Belukha - a beacon of light

Ufologists believe that Belukha (4509 meters above sea level) is not just the highest of the Altai mountains. She is a powerful emitter of earthly energy into space, a beacon of light. There is an energy bridge between Belukha and Mount Shasta in Northern California (USA), which is also credited with sacred properties. There is even an opinion that there is an underground city under it, built by the Lemurians before the Flood, more than 12,000 years ago.

My personal observations provide an indirect confirmation that Mount Belukha is a powerful radiator of energy. Once I climbed the Akkem glacier to better view Belukha and the adjacent mountains. To my regret, the low clouds that came running covered everything around, and I found myself in a dense fog. After a while, the clouds began to rise, and soon a breathtaking picture opened up to my gaze: a glacier cut by cracks, the Akkem wall with snow-white peaks of Belukha, Eastern and Western, and the neighboring mountains. Dense clouds above them rushed quickly to the east, driven by a strong wind.

And then I noticed that over Eastern Belukha the clouds were diverging, forming a large oval gap in a solid gray blanket, and then they closed again, having passed the summit. Nowhere else in the clouds were there any gaps. At first I thought that the wind was blowing the clouds apart, but no vortices were visible in their dense rows. It's just that the clouds seemed to melt away, dissolve, hitting the top, and then thicken again.

Above the top of Belukha, a piece of blue sky shone through, as if he was holding on to the top, not moving in the wind, no matter how the clouds pressed against him. It was amazing! It seemed as if the clouds in this place were dissipated by a huge gas burner. It can be assumed that this is the result of a powerful energy flow directed from the top of Belukha up to the stars.

Dragon's Ridge

To the north of Belukha there is the Yarlu stream, the right tributary of the Akkem River, flowing from a wide valley, in the middle of which rises a small narrow ridge with steep rocky slopes. One gets the impression that in this ancient valley, once licked by a powerful glacier, a tectonic cataclysm has recently occurred - a fault in the earth's crust formed in its axial part, and this ridge rose up along it. Narrow, winding, with sharp rocks, it is very similar to the dorsal crest of a giant dragon lying in the trough of the valley, with its tail to its mouth. That's what I called it - Dragon's Ridge.

From afar, I noticed the unusual coloring of the rocks of the Dragon Ridge - they were lilac in color! Coming closer, I saw that not only the steeps of this ridge, but also small rocks in the valley, and even stones in the stream have the same color. It seemed like a miracle: usually the gray sandstones in the Jarlu Valley were lilac, purple!

The most sensitive women in our group groaned, “What a powerful energy here in this place! I'm just shaking all over! " I then did not attach any importance to these words. I just decided to take some colored stones with me as souvenirs.

Imagine my surprise when, returning to our camp in Akkem, shaking these stones out of my backpack, I saw that they had become the usual gray color. There was no limit to my surprise. How can this be explained? It was then that I remembered the cries of women. Probably, the earthly energy coming from the depths of the interior was so strong there that it was able to change our color perception, painting ordinary gray rocks and stones in lilac and purple colors. Nicholas Roerich in the book "Altai - Himalayas" points to "the violet physical female radiation in the Belukha region."

I saw similar purple rocks in the Valley of the Seven Lakes, located on the other side of the Akkem River.

Mysterious failure

But this is not all the secrets of the Jarlu Valley. On a flat slope at the bottom of the valley, there is a crevasse that gapes like a dark hole. It is strange that this cleft ends in the middle of the slope and that apart from it there are no more deep cracks in the valley. It is also mysterious that the stream flowing into this hole from the rocks disappears somewhere. All this intrigued me, and I decided to come closer to admire this miracle of nature and, perhaps, find answers to my questions.

Approaching the edge of the hole, I saw that its steep walls seemed to be made of sharp-angled stones, and the lower part of the funnel goes down and is completely filled up with large blocks, between which holes gape with blackness. It is in these holes that the stream flowing down from above disappears. I could not see the bottom of the hole due to large boulders. I had a feeling of something mysterious, as if I was standing in front of the entrance to a dungeon.

Abode of the gods

Several months later, in a conversation with my friend Valery Mukhamadiev, who also visited the upper reaches of the Akkem, I shared my observations. A friend told me that he once saw how from the valley of Yarlu, from where there is a strange hole, a small luminous cloud of rounded shape rose upward. It was the only cloud on that side of the sky, and it was climbing up unnaturally quickly. Valery, who is well acquainted with esoteric and spiritual teachings, suggested that he was observing the movement of some creature or group of beings in their subtle body in the form of a luminous cloud.

I completely agree with this, because if, according to some sources, there is an underground city under Mount Shasta, then why not the same settlement near Belukha? It is no coincidence that seekers of spiritual knowledge placed in this part of Altai the mysterious Belovodye, a treasury of ancient sacred knowledge. And who, if not representatives of ancient civilizations, preserve this knowledge, being in subtle bodies in hidden caves or even in an underground city?

One Altai grandmother secretly told me that together with other believers in the White Burkhan (a religion that originated in Altai at the beginning of the 20th century, containing a rejection of shamanism with its bloody sacrifices and a non-violent struggle for the creation of an independent Altai state. - Ed. .) has been traveling in summer to Belukha for many years in order to visit a sacred place in the Akkem valley - Tekelu waterfall. According to the old Altai woman, this waterfall washes away human sins, gives spiritual cleansing and balance for the whole year.

It is known that the secret goal of the Central Asian expedition of N.K. Roerich was searching for the mysterious Shambhala, or Belovodye - a secret mountain monastery, in which, according to legend, the gene pool of mankind is kept. Nicholas Roerich wrote in his book The Heart of Asia: “In the middle of the 19th century, an extraordinary message was brought to the Altai Old Believers:“ In distant countries, beyond the great lakes, behind the high mountains, there is a sacred place where justice flourishes. the highest wisdom for the salvation of all future mankind. This place is called Belovodye. "

And in the book "Altai - Himalayas" he describes the attitude of the Altaians to Belukha as follows: "The name of Orion is often associated with stories about Gasser Khan. In Altai, Mount Belukha is called Uch-Syure, Uch-Orion. Sure is the dwelling of the gods, it corresponds to the Mongolian Sumer and Indian Sumeru ... The heavenly bird on the Uch-Sure mountain defeated the dragon. "

Obviously, the Altai legend tells about some kind of epic battle that took place over Mount Belukha, the abode of the gods, where a heavenly bird defeated the dragon. Did this dragon fall into the valley of Jarlu?

Alexander TARASOV

It is located on the right bank of the Akkem River, practically opposite the Akkem weather station, and is also clearly visible when descending from the Karatyurek pass. This place is a saint for the followers of Roerich, here is a stone town of tours around the stone, especially revered by the Roerichs.

It is interesting for its colored rocks, the colors of which become especially bright after rain. In the outline of the ridge separating the valleys of the Yarlu and Tekel rivers, you can, with a certain imagination, consider the profile of a woman, and the bright purple-red rock is called the Heart of the Mother.

For an excursion along the valley on a hot day, it is better to take some water with you in advance in the lower reaches of the river, where it is abundant, because directly above the town, the stream often dries up, or the water is very muddy.

How to get to the Yarlu river valley

There are two ways to the Yarlu valley from Lake Akkem.

The first one is to cross the lake by boat from the weather station for a small amount. In 2012, it cost 80 rubles per person. Be careful, the shores of Lake Akkem in the area of the crossing are very hot, and you will probably get your sneakers or sneakers wet, and you will get dirty - that's for sure.

The second way is free, but long. Go up to the suspension bridge over the river. Akkem (it is several hundred meters higher than the last inhabited campsites of Lake Akkem, much higher than the base of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (Bochki), then along the right bank of the lake to the valley. closed.

Recently one girl asked me: "Sveta, did you see a magic stone in a magical town with you, in Altai, near Belukha?"

In general, I could not restrain myself then ... And so I decided to write openly ...

Valley of Yarlu (translated from Altai - "with cliffs", "with a steep bank").

Part 1. Rainbow.
A fabulous valley with fantastic colored rocks and a milky-turquoise river splitting into dozens of streams, like long gray hair, living very close to the snow-white Belukha. A small spur, 2 km long, divides the valley in half. And it is this spur that brings bizarre colors from purple to red to the valley. I tell you exactly, as an artist - the whole palette of the rainbow is present here ... The 600-meter cliffs-conglomerates towering over the valley are of a bluish-blue color, as they are almost entirely composed of blue clay in combination with layers of other rocks, equally bright and saturated in colors, such as lilac and purple, like potassium permanganate. Here, on the Yarlu River, a molybdenite deposit was once discovered. The geological reserve of this deposit is estimated at 10 thousand tons of metal! Probably, fragments of this lead-gray mineral with a bold metallic luster I like to collect along the river ... Pyrite, molybdenum pyrite, quartz-carbonate veins in the walls, multi-colored slate, all these rocks of ore-bearing strata paint the rocks of the valley in multi-colored colors. That is why the rivers are unusual here. On one side of the colored spur there is a milk river, on the other - blood-red. The eye rejoices, the soul sings ... If you want - go around the spur to the left, if you want - to the right, if you want - climb it, or if you want - rise over the entire valley ... And you will see from above all the colored streaks of the mountains, the fine hair of the Jarlu, the peaks of the Katunsky ridge, dazzling glaciers splashes of red ice. You can see a shiny, fat-faced marmot, leaping into the abyss of an ular, running away tekeshku and, of course, the whole palette of alpine herbs ... Jarlu is one of the brightest valleys in Natural park Belukha. I love her with all my heart ...

Part 2. Sad ...
Unfortunately, on the Internet you will hardly find any intelligible information about the Yarlu gorge, except for the fictional one. You know my position - "Leave nature after your visit exactly the same as it was before you." I have very few principles, and I get rid of them, but this one is unshakable. It sounds like this: came to visit, lived, drank, ate, pooped, clean up after yourself. Dot. What am I talking about? Here's what: since 2002, in the Jarlu Valley, the Roerichs and followers of the Rikla teachings have built a whole town of stones around a monolithic stone block located in the center of the gorge and embedded in the ground, which they call the "Stone of Wisdom" Roerich "," Shaman's Stone ", for some reason he is" Genghis Khan's Stone "and even" Macedonian Stone "). A symbol of the Trinity, the so-called Roerich's sign, was painted on the stone, they surrounded the territory with a fence made of slate, placing hundreds of stone pyramids inside the "town" (I deliberately do not display these photos, there are enough of them on the Internet), sometimes you can even see a person there with stacks of books on the topic of Living Ethics, sometimes a person who, like a grandmother in a church, broadcasts what can and cannot be done here, and more and more often guides tell newly arrived tourists about the ridge "Mother of the World" with her "Mother's Heart" and literally about entering Shambhala somewhere here…

I also RESPECT Places of Power Mountain Altai, and I and my friends, mountain rescuers, doctors, climbers, geologists ... But I am opposed to a person in any way to designate these places, drawing their signs, putting marks, building stone towns, thereby imposing their opinions, beliefs on others , even with the best of intentions. Why can't you just respect the place? Just come, pray, recharge, live, be a guest and leave, leaving this place for others the same as it was before you? I repeat: I respect all religions and philosophies in the world. Among my friends there are representatives of all religions and faiths. But I very much ask everyone who goes to the mountains - please try to leave as few traces of your presence there as possible. While respecting the traditions of the region, region, republic, country.

Well, we have Obo in Altai (Mong. Ovoo, bur. Obo, khak. Oba "heap, heap, embankment") - heaps of stones, decorated with ribbons and flags, as is customary among the Turkic-Mongol peoples of Central Asia, well, put on it a stone out of respect (as on the same pass Kara-Turek) and enough ... Believe me, IN THE MOUNTAINS AND WITHOUT YOU, EVERYTHING IS HARMONIOUS. And tours are not built to communicate with space! And so that the traveler in the mountains does not get lost and does not lose the path! Don't mislead people with your buildings !!!

Thanks for reading to the end. I will be glad if there are those among you who think like me, those who will support me.

PySy: and finally about "thank you" and about pseudo-spirituality:

Once again I came to the Jarlu valley, passed a stone, a woman was sitting on it in a meditation position, a book on her lap. I always say hello in the mountains, say "Hello!" "Hello" - answers. And in the voice of the mistress of the place of power offers:

- Have you come to recharge? Come on. No, not like that, here. No, not here. And not there. Not on this side. Not in shoes. Not backwards. Yes, not there! Like this.

And in response I hear the teacher's displeased tone:

- Maybe it's enough to say "thank you" already ?? Maybe it's time to start “thanking” ?!

- Excuse me, - I say, - what did you say?

- Have put in all "God save", yes "God save"! And who will give the blessing?! ?? It's time to start and give the blessing !!!

I shrugged.

- Well, I don’t mind, give it.

- Well, good. Give. I agree. Let's.

- What-oh-oh-oh?!?

- Because of what you said I give the blessing - you did not give the blessing. You broke off with words.

... And for another 10 minutes I heard afterwards, "Look how smart you are!" ... Until the noise of the river overlapped these sounds ...

Places that are not enough just to see, they must be felt and heard. The Jarlu Valley belongs to such corners. In addition to the striking beauty of mountains, forests and hollows, the gorge strikes with its sacred power. Here the power of nature is felt physically. You can describe a lot of the feelings of travelers to the valley, but to realize the power of this land is possible only after personal presence. The valley stretches to the left of Lake Akkem. Its height is 2000 m. The name of the valley means “a place with cliffs”. A stream runs along the bottom of the gorge, which is also called Yarlu and flows into the Akkem River.

People are attracted to the valley by magical power and curiosity. It was Jarlu who was noted by Roerich. His followers often visit the sites of the scientist's research. Here he stayed during his expedition in search of the fabulous Belovodye.

The most curious is the Roerich stone, marked with its sign. It is a large, smooth boulder that has grown into the ground. It does not look like the surrounding rocks. According to some statements, the stone “grows” by 5 cm per year. The lump is called the Master Stone or the Stone of Wisdom. A small town is built around it from the fragments of rocks. This place is the center of the release of the most powerful energy, mediums and esotericists come here to restore the biofield, meditate and comprehend the meaning of life.

The upper part of the Jarlu valley is surrounded by a mountain range. This is the watershed of two rivers - Tekel and Yarlu. The ridge bears a resemblance to a lying woman, her profile is especially clearly visible. It is more convenient to admire the ridge from the Kara-Turek pass. In the area of the stone woman's chest, the mountains have a red tint. It seems as if blood is running from the heart. The rock is called Mother's Heart.

Colorful rocks are another feature of the gorge. Multi-colored rocks, clay deposits and minerals are densely compressed by time among sedimentary deposits, which makes the Yarlu valley look unusual. The bright colors of the mountains come to life even more after the rain. The valley changes its appearance depending on the season. The time of day and the intensity of the sun's rays also affect the color of the stones, so movement is always felt in Jarlu - thoughts, color, matter and energy. There are many legends about the valley. It is called a place of special power. There is a statement that the valley does not allow people with defective, distorted morality. Such people cannot enter the gorge, they experience pains, panic, or important things to do.

It is not surprising that it is in such a magical place that a wonderful flower - edelweiss - grows. This plant symbolizes wisdom and mystery. Due to the color composition of the mountains, the streams flowing along their slopes are also multi-colored. They take on a shade of blue clay or milky limestone. Sometimes the waters are light blue, sometimes slightly emerald.

The easiest way to descend into the gorge is through the lake by boats. They are sent from the Ak-Kem weather station. It will cost a small amount of money and take an hour and a half. You can get to the Jarlu Valley for free via a suspension bridge, this road will take about three hours. You can walk downstream, it will also take about three hours. Near the lower slope, tourist camps are most often set up, since the nearby deciduous forest provides abundant firewood for fires.

More and more at the present time we have to hear about the inseparability of our life with the world around us. The idea that all kinds of energy flows - and their impact on us, as well as ours on them - is a common and self-evident phenomenon, is becoming more and more common. No one will argue that on our Earth sometimes there are places of extraordinary strength and quality of their impact on us and the surrounding space. And, more likely, a person who denies this will be exposed to surprised and incomprehensible looks than vice versa.

Valley Jarlu is one of the amazing priceless pearls in a precious necklace.
It is located a little away from the magnificent Lake Akkem, and in its lower reaches, it unites the flow of its river with the Akkem River. In the upper reaches, in an extraordinary way, it is divided in two by a longitudinal ridge, and both of its parts, as if carrying their own special meaning, convey their message to the world. A message that can be read only by combining both images and is absolutely impossible to understand in its entirety without each other.

The ridge covering the upper reaches of the valley is popularly called the face of the Mother of the World. It is interesting that in the local dialect its name is translated as "Lying Woman".
When viewed from one part of the valley, her heart is bleeding.

But from the other - the wings are spread.

And even her expression seems to change. From a calm, maybe even mournful reverie, lying on its eternal bed, it turns into a rapidly soaring towards infinity, with a gaze directed upward. And here it really is, just right to doubt whether it is really stone and whether it is as motionless as it seems.
The image of her, as if speaks about the independent choice of the path given to us and our achievements. And, like our mothers, prompting, guiding on the true path, she can only silently observe and rejoice at our successes or grieve over our unreasonableness. And just like our mothers, she shares with us this great burden of responsibility, which we also bear for the deeds of our children, either by remaining with a “heart torn from grief”, or from happiness “rising on wings to heaven”.

If you stand on the dividing ridge facing this light image, then on the left hand there will be a ravine overgrown with larch trees, where you can perfectly place cozy parking lots. The old Altai six-wall is still preserved here, enriching it even more with its color.

In this wooded slope, tourists and all kinds of enchanted personalities usually stay, who come specially to the gorge.Jarlu for the summer time spending, devoting it to meditation and self-improvement, saturated with beauty, blissful emanations, and practicing maximum unity with nature.

On the right side of the ridge, the valley is completely different. There are no longer any trees or camps.
But this place is really extraordinary and unusually strong in terms of energy.
From others, this valley is distinguished by a very special color of the rocks that surround it. Some call it the valley of the blue mountains. In fact, the cliffs towering above it are really bluish-blue conglomerates, since they almost entirely consist of blue clay in combination with layers of other rocks, by the way, of the same bright and saturated color. And for this very reason, most of the streams here have a milky-turquoise or milky-greenish tint. But in different lighting conditions, the play of colors here is simply amazing. The valley can blaze with all the colors of the rainbow, from cold blue and emerald shades to lilac, pink and even purple.

This valley has one more remarkable feature. It serves as a cozy home for the legendary, star-like small, but no less mysterious flowers - edelweiss.
At the same time, in the neighboring slopes, they are absent in principle. These tiny stars are listed in the Red Book and are very often the protagonists of many ancient legends about love and wisdom.

For some special reason, this place turned out to be a coveted Mecca for the wonderful people from the Rikla sect. They consider themselves to be the followers of the Roerichs, thus misleading the oncoming tourists both about the personality of this remarkable artist, scientist and his family, as well as about the works of him and Elena Ivanovna. Since the Teaching of Agni Yoga and the goals and objectives of these people are either misunderstood by them, or simply distorted by someone to horror. On the right side of the valley, they built a whole stone complex, called for some reason "stone city". Maybe because all kinds of pyramidal structures and symbols built by them from large and small piles of stones are fenced off by a picturesque and rather solid stone wall. Or perhaps, paying tribute to the legend living among them that Nicholas Roerich predicted the creation of a bright city in this (according to their conviction) place - Zvenigorod. Although, according to available sources, records and diaries of the artist himself and witnesses of those events, it was about. The valley of Yarlu really was one of Roerich's camps, and made a great impression on him both with the riot of colors of the mountain slopes, and with clear, clear and powerful energy.

Here you can also join another miracle. On an almost flat surface of the valley, completely covered with stones of a rather rough chipped shape, a unique stone is located among the rocks of dark saturated shades.

Almost white, unusually smooth for these places, like a living creature, he, like a guest from ancient legends, lives here his own life. Without a trace, he dedicated it to this place, filling this land with a special state, images and meaning. Someone calls it a stoneRoerich , someone - a stone of wisdom, someone - a Master stone. Someone, operating from nowhere taken data, says that he is 70 cm "rooted" into the ground. Someone, on the contrary, this stone “grows” from the ground, rising 4-6 centimeters above its surface every year. But everyone is right in one thing: he is amazing, impossible, unreal, in this place and is definitely a source, or rather, a conductor of some powerful currents. Because, as everyone who does not come to this place, one way or another strive to hug, lie down, or, at least, touch it. And for everyone, something inside changes at this moment. This stone miracle "town" is built around it. And now everyone, too, coming to carry something, sculpts something, folds out of stones, complementing and introducing a piece of himself into it.

What is a place of Power? These are the places where the flows of energy exchange of the Earth, Space and man are most active. Where something is capable of suddenly and unexpectedly changing, opening up, establishing itself in our consciousness. Where we begin to feel capable of more than ever. Where we begin to feel and hear with our heart much more clearly and wider. And even if this place initially did not have special anomalies of the energy field, now, it will certainly become such, since the thoughts, souls and hearts of many hundreds, and maybe even thousands of people still strive for this valley, unite , even if for a while, in a bright impulse and delight. They begin to feel clearer, lighter and not alone on this Earth. This stone has heard and felt dreams and aspirations, it keeps and unites them all, making us all at least a little bit, but no longer strangers to each other.
