Operation of the Dikson airfield runway was suspended in autumn 2010 due to poor conditions. As a result, the transport communication between the village and other regions has deteriorated significantly. After reconstruction works in December of the same year, the airport began to function again.

Dikson Airport has only one runway with a total length of 1,500 meters and a width of 20 meters, which is only suitable for receiving small aircraft, in particular aircraft such as Yak-40, An-74, An-26 and others lighter aircraft, as well as for the reception and maintenance of helicopters of all types.
Currently, the runway is in poor condition and reconstruction is planned in the near future.

Dikson Airport is located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, not far from the urban-type settlement Dikson, and is a branch of the KrasAvia State Enterprise. Its construction began back in the 30s, during an active survey of the northern latitudes. The purpose of the creation was to organize a community between the village and other regions.
