Good day to all!

Recently, many of my acquaintances and friends began to discover many wonderful places for recreation not abroad, but in Russia. I was no exception and my choice fell on the Crimea. Why?

First of all, proximity to Moscow, a few hours and we are there.

Secondly, the prices for flights and accommodation are much lower than abroad.

And thirdly no time difference and pleasant climate.

To my great regret, the hotel "Drop of the Sea" in Peschanoe did not live up to expectations and hopes.

And so about everything in order:

I'll start with our arrival, back in Moscow I ordered a transfer at the hotel and theoretically the driver was supposed to meet us at the airport and take us to the hotel. This service costs 2,000 rubles.travel time is approximately 1 hour. Everything went wrong from the very beginning, the driver called me on the eve of departure 5 times, clarifying some minor details, strictly said to warn about the delay, etc. As a result, he was late for 30 minutes. In addition, he did not meet at the airport, but by phone directed us to look for his car in the parking lot. I consider such a careless attitude to work as a minus for both the hotel and the driver.

The cost of rest for 10 days with 3 meals a day was aboutRUB 62,000(excluding airfare). The room was standard. The price also included the use of the pool, beach, sun loungers and beach towels.

The hotel is small, three-storey, rooms with sea and pool views. The lobby of the hotel is quite stylish, which I cannot say about the rooms. The room was very disappointing. The room has 2 beds, air conditioning, refrigerator, wardrobe, safe, a bunch of nightstands and drawers and a TV. Also a bathroom with shower and toilet.

What did not like in the room:

1. TV set. It is extremely small, I understand everything, but it's 2016
2. Lack of a kettle. On the ground floor there is something like a thermos kettle with boiling water. That is, if you live on the third floor, you have to overcome a couple of floors and long corridors in the evenings or early in the morning in a negligee to make yourself a cup of coffee?
3. The shower stall ... literally flows. Communicating with vacationers, I realized that many had such a problem. As they say, love to swim, love and clean (there was water on the floor of the bathroom)

   Yes, it's mold and limescale. In general, this is not something that is unpleasant, it is not imaginable for a hotel where (ATTENTION) are cleaned every day;

5. Not high-quality room cleaning, which is evident from the state of the bathroom. This also applies to dust on furniture and dirty floors. The first 2-3 days were relatively clean, but then every time they tried less and less;
6. Tiny curtains, you do not need to curtain, because the room will always be as bright as day from the indoor lighting by the pool. Well, early in the morning.

   

   

7. The walls are so thin that you can easily hear what is being said behind the wall. And many more sounds such as snoring or moaning of a young couple in the middle of the night.
8. Lack of drinking water coolers on the floor. The topic of water at the hotel is problematic. There are two options here: either buy or pour boiled in the dining room. And there is a third, but not safe one, there is a spring near the hotel and many pour it there, but there will be nowhere to boil it, so I do not recommend it.
9. All the furniture in the room is already outdated and frayed, just like the bed linen.
10. Wi-fi is free and unlimited, but it does not work stably and slowly.

Of the advantages, I can note a well-functioning refrigerator and air conditioning

Territory

The hotel is not large, I would say that it is not. There is nowhere to walk, there is a playroom and a playground for children, but they are quite small. There are benches everywhere, there is little greenery, scanty flower beds with flowers and scattered bushes.

Beach

The hotel has its own beach with sun loungers and a canopy from the sun, I read in many reviews that thanks to this the water is clean. No matter how it is ... right and left are huge public beaches, packed with people. Water is not cool overall.

The beach is spacious, there are enough sun loungers for everyone.




There is a clean and comfortable toilet, changing cabins and a shower. I didn't like the shower. the water is cold and the wall, which is lined with tiles, is covered with mold and some kind of mucus. We washed it by the way on the last day of my stay at the hotel. In front of the entrance to the beach, there are guards who make sure that outsiders do not enter the territory. Vacationers have white and identical towels. BUT repeatedly observed in the afternoon strangers with towels not from the hotel, who with great pleasure ate melons and watermelons, cutting them on sun loungers and drinking strong drinks. Here is a question for both the security and the hotel administration ...

Entertainment

They are not there ... It was the end of the season and I didn't even see children's animation. The on-site café offers coffee, soft drinks or alcoholic drinks for a fee. In the evening there is also music and a children's disco (maximum 10-15 minutes)

NUTRITION

The dining room menu is simple but tasty. All products are fresh and in my opinion the chefs try their best. These are vegetables, fresh salads, first courses, hot dishes and side dishes. Everything seems to be good, but here it was also not without problems:

1. A large crowd of tourists and a line in front of the dining room door. Why? It's simple: if you are late, then a lot of food may no longer be caught.
2. Large deficit of SOURCES. I don’t understand why, they always put it on the bottom in a small bowl, and then everyone stood and waited to take it out again, then everything was repeated several times. It is very strange!!!

I liked the girls who work in the canteen. They are great fellows, polite, well-groomed and diligent. Also administrators at the reception. During my vacation there were three of them and they are great professionals in their field.

We rested in the Velvet season late August and early September. Therefore, the weather was very comfortable. I also liked the climate.
