Pratamnak is one of the districts of Pattaya. It is considered one of the best in the city, because it is well maintained and has good beaches. This area is in demand among Russians, so finding a company will not be difficult.

District infrastructure

Pratamnak Hill is located close to famous attractions. The beaches are not the best in the city, but they are not bad either. The area is pleasant for families with children to relax, since a walk to the beach or famous tourist places takes no more than 20 minutes.

The infrastructure of the Pratamnak district in Pattaya is aimed at tourists. There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, massage parlors, and tour desks everywhere. Land and water transport rentals are located near the beaches.

Tours take tourists to famous sites located close to the city, although Pratamnak itself also has many attractions to see.

The area is somewhat isolated: there is no public transport here. This limits the ability to leave the area to explore the city, but also reduces the number of people on the beaches. The small number of tourists also affects the low prices in the area's markets and the opportunity to buy a specific product.

While on holiday in Pratumnak, you should definitely walk along the main street, although it is not equipped for pedestrians. Pratumnak Street leads to the area's attractions - an observation deck and a pier from which you can cross to the nearest island.

Beaches of Pratumnak area

The area has a beach divided into four parts, each of which is beautiful and regularly cleaned. Along the beaches there is a tourist infrastructure: cafes, bars, excursion bureaus, transport rental. Pratamnak Hill is a large area. Most of The shores are occupied by food establishments, further away there are massage parlors and hotels.

There are four beaches on Pratumnak. There are few shops, but street vendors offer everything you need for comfortable rest. The cafe on the beach has Wi-Fi. Not far from the embankment there is a cinema; films are shown in English and Thai.

Pratumnak Beach

The central beach of the area along which many expensive hotels are located. There is a quiet road along the embankment where cars rarely pass. The silence and scenery create a pleasant atmosphere, complemented by inexpensive cafes with free Wi-Fi.

Cozy beach

Cozy Beach is located near the hotel of the same name. The beach is one of four on Pratumnak and is considered the best. Cozy Beach is popular among tourists, although it occupies a small area. The strip of coastline occupied by the beach can be walked around in 10 minutes at a leisurely pace. In its appearance, Kozi Beach resembles a small bay.

The beach is equipped with sun loungers that are available for rent. They also offer for rental water transport. On the embankment there are inexpensive cafes and a couple of excursion bureaus offering rides to Pattaya's attractions.

Asia Hotel Beach

This beach occupies an area smaller than Cozy Beach. The tourist infrastructure is poorer, since the hotel, of which the beach is part, charges colossal sums for accommodation.

The hotel charges about 1000 baht per day. The tourist is greeted by a personal cottage house. Most of the buildings in this hotel are old buildings. The main advantage is the location of the hotel. It is practically on the beach. The road from the hotel to the descent to the coastline is only 20 meters. The beach of the Asia Hotel is beautiful and cozy.

Dongtan Beach

The beach most rarely visited by tourists. The low number of visitors to this beach is due to the fact that part of the territory is designated specifically for men of non-traditional sexual orientation. In this regard, tourists prefer to bypass Dongtan. There are also not many people in the food establishments on this beach, and the main contingent is men.

Dongtan Beach is for tolerant people. After sunset, you should walk along the embankment along the beach area at least once. Dongtan boasts beautiful scenery.

Attractions and entertainment

Pratumnak Hill is an area where several famous Pattaya attractions are located. At the end of the main street is the main observation deck, which offers a stunning view of the bay and the city.

From above you can see the Thai national monument - the statue of Prince Krom. Tourists are allowed to visit the sculpture, but with strict restrictions: open clothing, drinking water and food, smoking are prohibited. It is considered good manners to buy and lay fresh flowers.

Near the highest platform Pattaya is located on a hill. A Chinese temple was built on Buddha Hill, which can only be reached on foot. The location of the attractions causes a large number of visitors.

Not far from the observation deck is the Chaloemprakiat fitness park. Park - place active rest. Bicycles and roller skates are available for rent on site.

Tourists often visit Wat Khao Phra Bat - the temple dedicated days weeks. The monks in charge of the building will happily bless the visitor.

There is little entertainment in Pratumnak. There are no nightclubs or large shopping and entertainment complexes in the area. To visit such establishments, you will have to go to the center of Pattaya.

Hotels

On Pratumnak in Pattaya is big selection of hotels. The housing is so diverse that any visitor will find a suitable place in terms of location, quality and cost. As a rule, the bulk of tourists are Russians.

Among the inexpensive hotels:

  • Guest House Golden Cliff.
  • Joy Residence.
  • Sanatorium Phu View Talay.

The most expensive hotels in Pratumnak in Pattaya:

  • Centara Grand.
  • Sheraton Resort.
  • Citrus Parc and Aiyara Grand hotels.

Condominiums are also popular in the area. Small apartments are sold or rented in the buildings. The cost of housing is higher than in guest houses, but guarantees a vacation separate from other tourists. It is better to rent living space for a long time in guest houses, since the deposit and cost are lower.

Pros and cons of Pratumnak

On the map of the Pratumnak area in Pattaya you can see the location of attractions. This part of the city is good for family vacation. Positive sides:

  • Compared to other areas, the water on the beaches is quite clean.
  • The isolation of the area and the beach is guaranteed by a small number of people.
  • Along the embankment there is a quiet road where cars are rarely seen.
  • Silence, comfort and beauty of the area.
  • Close proximity to famous attractions.
  • Wide choose hotels, cafes and other establishments.

The main disadvantages of the area are:

  • Isolation of the area from the main part of the city, caused by inaccessibility public transport.
  • Lack of noisy entertainment venues. In order to have a good time you will have to get to the center of Pattaya.

How to get there?

Pratamnak Hill Pattaya is an isolated area whose main problem is transport. There is no public transport here, so to get to Pratumnak you will need to take a taxi. The cost is negotiated with the driver. When traveling on major highways, it is necessary to separately stipulate who pays for the toll. paid sections. Typically, a taxi ride to Pattaya costs about 1,000 baht.

If you don't want to pay for a taxi or walk, large companies are advised to hire a transfer. The cost of the trip will be 800-1000 baht for a group of 4 people.

In the southern part of bustling Pattaya there is a cozy, calm area of Pratumnak. It is located on a green hill between the beach and central Pattaya. "Hill" translated from English means "hill", so this term is often added to the name of the area. Residents of Russia love to come here; almost all the inscriptions are duplicated in Russian. Pratumnak Hill is especially popular among couples with children, because the sea is the cleanest on this coast, the infrastructure is well developed and there is no noisy night entertainment.

Description

The main street of the area is called Phra Tamnak. It leads to Buddha Hill and Observation platform, then continues to the pier from which ferries depart for (Ko Lan).

Koh Larn Island

There are no sidewalks on this street, but there is traffic, so it is difficult to move on foot. On small streets, departing from the main one, there are sidewalks, and there are almost no cars driving. There are many massage parlors, shops and bars concentrated here.

There are two markets in the Pratumnak area - for locals and for tourists. At the tourist market you can buy various things for recreation and food. There is a special seating area with cozy tables and a stage with music. In the evening, peace and quiet sets in on the coast. There are no bars or restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the sea, but there are some on the hill. Climbing up one of the stairs, you can have dinner and admire the excellent evening panorama.

The Hill district is considered the most prestigious in the city; it is not for nothing that the residence of Her Highness the Princess of Thailand is located here. Pratamnak, compared to Central Pattaya, has a number of advantages:

  • the sea is much cleaner;
  • the beach is isolated by high rocks and is mostly used by guests of nearby hotels;
  • there is no busy road nearby;
  • a lot of greenery;
  • there are three interesting attractions on the Hill, which can be reached on foot in 15 minutes;
  • The Hill offers magnificent views of the sea;
  • a large selection of housing, the presence of bars, shops, restaurants, massage parlors;
  • silence and comfort, which allows families with children to relax.

Transport

Despite all the advantages, in reviews tourists cite the main drawback of the Pratumnak area - problems with transport. There is no public transport here, so you have to use a taxi, scooter or walk. The hilly terrain and hot, humid climate make it difficult to travel on foot. You can walk to the center of Pattaya in 30-40 minutes, and to Jomtien Beach along a good pedestrian road laid in the shade of trees in 15 minutes. A motorcycle taxi costs from 50 baht, a taxi equipped with air conditioning costs about 150 baht. The nearest inexpensive songthaew stop is 1.5 km from the hotels, and the road leads uphill.

Housing

As in the rest of Pattaya, Pratamnak has many houses available for rent nearby coastline. In guest houses you can rent a room for 400-900 baht per day or from 10 thousand baht per month. Such rooms are studios located on noisy central streets. Families with children prefer to live on quieter side streets. There are condominiums with nice one and two bedroom apartments. The cost of living is 16-25 thousand baht per month. You cannot see the sea from the window of such a condominium, but there may be a communal pool in the courtyard.

The most best hotels located near the seashore, on the first line. Each of them has its own territory and access to the beach. Two large hotels are located closest to the sea, right on the shore - Adriatic Palace and Ban Hard U Thong Condominium. Next come smaller hotels, followed by the only hotel with a water park - Pattaya Park.

The good three-star hotel Golden Cliff is located in the northern part of the beach on a picturesque hill. Vacationers have two swimming pools, a sauna, and a good restaurant. Two five-star hotels, Royal Cliff and Sheraton, are located right on the shore in Cliff Bay. Both have their own beaches, which are well maintained.

Many Russian tourists relax at the Adriatic Hotel. A huge building with a terrace is located on the very shore. Among the advantages of the Adriatic is a good location right next to the pedestrian path, a swimming pool, and a beautiful view from the window. But reviews say that the hotel is quite old, the service is not very good, and the water in the pool is cloudy.

Beaches

Pratumnak is considered one of the best beach areas in Pattaya. There is a lot of greenery, no road noise, and the atmosphere is calm. The width of the sand in some places reaches 20 m. Tourists can sunbathe in the shade of trees, which is impossible in Central Pattaya. The sand is fine, the entrance to the sea is gentle, the water is quite clean.

Beaches near the hotels Cozy Beach, Pattaya Park, Adriatic Palace are free and municipal, they are always crowded. Wandering sellers offer all sorts of things; you can have a snack in a cafe or restaurant. The sand is regularly cleaned of debris, and sun loungers are available for a fee. The closed beaches near the Royal Cliff and Sheraton hotels are much cleaner; they are equipped with free sun loungers. You can only get to Royal Cliff Beach through the hotel grounds; outsiders do not go here.

Conventionally, the beach is divided into several parts, the most important of which are Pratumnak, (Cozy Beach), beaches near hotels Asia (Asia Pattaya), Pattaya Park. Hotel Asia has a small cozy beach where there are not too many people. According to reviews, the cleanest of the beaches is near the Zucchini and Condomy restaurant. Only long-term residents of the area and guests of nearby hotels know about it. There is very little space, so you need to take sunbeds in the morning. Sunbeds here are paid for, the bottom is sandy, the shore is well cleaned by the employees of the Asia Hotel.

The small (500 m) public beach Pratumnak Beach is the most popular and accessible. The shore is flat, ranging from 20 to 40 m wide. The main, 5th street of Pratamnak overlooks this beach. Where the road meets the beach there is a large open area with no trees. On both sides of the site you can find shade under trees or umbrellas installed near the sun loungers.

If you go to the left, a landscaped path stretches along the shore between the trees, then behind the ridge begins the territory of Dongtan beach, followed by Jomtien.

Jomtien Beach

Dongtan Beach

On the right side the beach is almost wild. It looks neglected, there is trash on the shore, sharp stones in the water. There is a large gazebo here, where it’s nice to sit in the evening, but you shouldn’t stay late on the deserted shore, as tourists are robbed in this respectable area.

Entertainment

Beach located near hotel Pattaya The park is considered Russian. Tour operators organize accommodation for tourists from Russia in this hotel. The Pattaya water park and the beach have all the conditions for a dynamic holiday: an amusement park, an observation tower, water slides, children's and adult pools, a golf club, a diving center.

Pattaya Aquarium

Pattaya Elephant Village

You can get to the water park through the hotel premises or from the beach. Price entrance ticket 100 baht, children under 80 cm tall are free.

This is one of the most popular areas among tourists from Russia, Ukraine and other countries of the former CIS. Many inscriptions have even been translated into Russian for them. True, sometimes with errors, for example, it is written “8 people” instead of “8 people”.

Why choose Pratumnak area:

  • isolated beach surrounded on both sides by high cliffs;
  • the absence of a busy road near the coast, for which Jomtien and Central Pattaya are so “famous”;
  • Nearby are the three main attractions of the resort - , . You can walk to them in about 15 minutes. And in half an hour - to and;
  • the presence of all infrastructure with hotels, restaurants, bars, massages, shops, travel agencies, motorbike rentals and water activities. Here you can even exchange rubles for baht;
  • relatively quiet place no discos and clubs;
  • a good choice for couples with children;
  • the sea is cleaner than in Central Pattaya.

The isolation of Pratamnak has both pros and cons. On the one hand, it is not so easy to get here, since the songthaew route for 10 baht is several kilometers away. Therefore, you have to use motorcycle taxis and tuk-tuks, which are expensive. But this circumstance also has an advantage - due to its inaccessibility (as well as the lack shopping centers), there are no “strangers” here and only guests of nearby hotels relax on the beach.

Beach and sea

Pratumnak Beach is mainly used only by holidaymakers from nearby hotels. In the high season there are quite a lot of people here, but still not as many as in the noisy season.

Water activities are offered on the coast, prices are slightly higher than on Central Beach: 30 minutes on a water scooter 1000-1500 baht, banana ride - 1100 baht, speed boat ride from 2500 baht.

Sun loungers and parasols are only available in the central part. South part- a boat parking area, there are few people there, sometimes you can meet Thais swimming.

After sunset, there is peace and quiet on the coast, since there are no restaurants directly next to the sea. But there are several on the hill, from which stairs go down. Here you can not only have a snack, but also enjoy a magnificent view of the sea - an excellent panorama opens up. If you move a little further from the sea, then there are shops, restaurants, tour desks, massage parlors, motorbike rentals and a couple of bars with girls at your service. But in general, the Pratumnak area is a fairly calm place and cannot be compared with the noisy center.

Attractions and entertainment

If you live in the Pratumnak area, then you are very lucky in terms of attractions, since they are located within walking distance. In 15 minutes you can walk to Pattaya and the Chinese Temple. Plus, at their foot there is a small park - practically the only green corner in the city.

In terms of entertainment on Pratumnak, everything is also in order. Although there are not as many of them as in the center, there are enough of them not to get bored. Many bars (including those with available girls), restaurants, snack bars, massage parlors, aquatic species sports on the coast, plus a couple of 24-hour mini markets. The only thing that hasn't been built yet is night club, but they are not so far away - the ones located on Volkin Street can be reached in about 7 minutes. In general, you can walk in half an hour, but after sunset it is better not to do this, since part of the road passes through a rather deserted area that is used by unkind reputation.

There are no shopping centers here either, only small shops and stalls where you can buy souvenirs, T-shirts, flip-flops, fruit and other small items.

How to get there

From Central Pattaya, Jomtien and Naklua

The Pratamnak district is located somewhat out of the way, far from the route of inexpensive public transport -. The minimum walk is about half an hour from where they pass. You can get here from the fork on Pratumnak Hill, which is located next to the police station and a makeshift open-air gym. If you stand with your back to Central Pattaya, then on the right there will be a road leading to the observation deck, on the left - to and straight ahead - to Thappraya Road. But the fourth road will lead you to Pratamnak.

The only way to get directly to the hotel is by tuk-tuk or motorcycle taxi. The cost of travel depends on the distance: the price of a tuk-tuk starts from 150 baht from Central Pattaya and can reach 300 baht from remote areas or . Motorcycle taxi - from 50 to 150 baht.

From airport

1. Bus.

From (where all flights from Russia, Ukraine and other former CIS countries arrive) you can get to Pattaya, and then take a tuk-tuk taxi. Buses run approximately every hour and arrive either at North Street or at the intersection of Thappraya and Theprasit. This option is only suitable if you are traveling alone. Then you will pay 150-200 baht for a bus and 150-200 baht for a tuk-tuk that will take you from the bus stop to the hotel. Total 300-400 baht. If there are four of you (for example, a family with two children), then getting to Pratamnak will cost almost the same as taking a taxi: 4 bus tickets cost around 800 baht, plus a tuk-tuk 150-200 baht. And you will spend 2 times more time on this.

Pratamnak - popular tourist area Pattaya, located between Jomtien and South Pattaya. Along with Jomtien, Pratamnak is especially loved by Russian tourists and therefore the majority of vacationers in this area are citizens of Russia and CIS countries.

Pratumnak has two popular beaches, Cozy Beach and Pratumnak Beach, as well as many hotels and restaurants located both on the coastline and away from the sea. Also in the center of the area there is a large market and several tourist shops, where vacationers can buy everything they need from souvenirs to shoes and clothes. Prices for food and consumer goods in the Pratumnak area are slightly higher than in other areas, so for cheap shopping it is better to go to other markets in Pattaya, for example, to the Teprasit night market in the Jomtien area or to the Pattaya Night Bazaar in southern Pattaya.

The main attractions of the Pratumnak area are Big Buddha Hill and the observation deck, which offers beautiful views of Pattaya. Both of these points are within walking distance from almost any hotel in the area.

Among the available entertainment options, perhaps only the famous Pattaya Park can be highlighted in Pratumnak, which includes a water park, an amusement park and a large restaurant on the top floor of the tower, as well as two beaches Cozy Beach and Pratumnak Beach.

On Pratamnak there are both very inexpensive hotels without a pool, located closer to the Thappraya road, and large comfortable hotels on the seashore, the prices of which are much higher. So tourists always have a choice regarding living conditions and material costs for their vacation.

In general, Pratumnak is very different from the rest of Pattaya, where most tourist attractions are located along one long beach street. In this regard, Pratamnak is like a small independent town with many small streets where you can even get lost. The area is always very clean and cozy, and its beaches are the most well-groomed in all of Pattaya. In addition, noisy night go-go bars and similar establishments are almost completely absent in this area. Instead, Pratamnak has numerous restaurants, cafes and bars designed for a more relaxing holiday.

Basically, tourists vacationing in Pratumnak choose this area because of its intimacy and clean, cozy beaches, which are not as noisy and crowded as in other areas of Pattaya. And of course, because of the presence of the Pattaya Park water park, where you can have a great time with children.

Photos of Pratumnak area in Pattaya

Opinions about the Pratumnak area in Pattaya are divided into two options. First option: Pratamnak is an excellent area, expensive, well-groomed, with luxurious condominiums favored by Russians, and a more or less good beach. Second option: Pratumnak in Pattaya is a terrible area, it’s difficult to get out of, it’s expensive to travel, and walking on foot is scary and life-threatening.

But nevertheless, the fact remains that Pratumnak in Pattaya is popular among Russian tourists and winterers. Anyone who has been to Pattaya knows that there are actually a lot of Russians there. This has an advantage - you can always communicate with someone in your own language, find new acquaintances and business contacts.

Consider the Pratumnak area in Pattaya, reviews, what to do, Pratumnak hotels.

Description of the Pratumnak area

The Pratumnak area in Pattaya has become popular for many reasons. Unlike Jomtien and Central Pattaya, there is no heavy traffic along the coastal highway and is generally relatively quiet. Pratamnak in Pattaya is conveniently located relative to the most popular attractions of the resort - the Chinese Temple, Observation Deck and Big Buddha can be reached on foot in just 15 minutes. It will take a little more, about half an hour, to get to Walking Street and the Bali Hai Pier.

A developed tourism infrastructure is important for tourists - there are no problems with this in the Pratumnak area. Restaurants, bars, cafes, massage parlors, rental of equipment necessary for water activities and recreation - all this is available right on the beaches. Of course, there are no very noisy clubs here, so the place is suitable for winterers and families with children.

The isolation of the Pratamnak area is perceived ambiguously among tourists. It's not easy to get here - the nearest tuk-tuk is a few kilometers from Pratamnak. There are no cheap songthaews for 10 baht here. So you have to turn to the services of tuk-tuks and motorcycle taxis for help, but this is not cheap. But at the same time, such inaccessibility is an additional guarantee that “random” people will not interfere with your vacation, since on the beaches you can meet mainly guests from nearby hotels and condominiums.

In Pratumnak, Pattaya, you can also buy gifts and souvenirs for your loved ones at two local markets. By the way, they are very convenient for visiting - there are places to relax between purchases. Local goods are sold on the stalls; you can see all the flavor of Pattaya.

Be sure to take a walk along the main street of the area - Pratumnak. This way you definitely won’t get lost while looking for local attractions - after all, it leads to the Lookout Point, Buddha Hill and ends near the pier from which you can get to the neighboring island of Koh Larn. But be careful, because you won't see any sidewalks on this street. This is a feature of only the central street; all other streets and alleys have sidewalks for pedestrians.

Beaches in Pratumnak: main features

The first reason why tourists come to Pratumnak from different countries the world - more or less clean and comfortable beaches.

Anyone who has seen the beaches of Pattaya does not swim here. But in Pratamnak people go into the sea, I saw it myself. The beach is conventionally divided into 4 main parts - Pratumnak beach, Dongtan (Adam Beach), Cozy Beach and Asia Hotel Beach. All of them are unique in their kind and have their own differences.

Pratumnak beach begins to change right before our eyes with the onset of the high tourist season. Before welcoming tourists, they literally clean it up - so you won’t see any, not even the slightest, garbage there. Of course, after such cleaning, the water literally becomes clear. This beach is mainly visited by holidaymakers from neighboring hotels and hotels. There are a lot of people here during the high season, but not as many as on Central Beach.

The best beaches in Pratumnak are Cozy Beach and Dongtan.

The infrastructure on the coast is well developed - all the necessary services are available to tourists. There are also plenty of thoughtful activities and entertainment. Particularly popular are water activities - a speedboat ride along the shore (from 2,500 baht), riding a water scooter (1,000-1,500 baht) and, of course, a banana boat (1,100 baht).

For a comfortable time on the beach, you can rent sun loungers and umbrellas, if this is not provided in the list of services provided by the hotel. But in general, sunbathing in Pratumnak is better than in Central Pattaya, since there are many green shelters on the shore.

There are other beaches in Pattaya. For example, near the Pattaya Park and Adriatic Palace hotels there are municipal recreation areas that are free for everyone to visit.

It is very crowded here, because not only tourists, but also local residents come there to relax. But this does not affect the beauty and cleanliness - garbage is removed there regularly. Near others Sheraton Hotels and Royal Cliff beaches are closed to outside visitors, and you can only get there from the territory where you are renting accommodation.

Pratumnak in Pattaya: comfort on the beaches, list of services provided

A good holiday is impossible without full service and comfort. When you go to Pratumnak in Pattaya, you will not be disappointed as you will not only enjoy beautiful views, but also enjoy good infrastructure for tourists.

Some people mistakenly believe that prices in Pratumnak are high compared to other areas of Pattaya. If you have the opportunity to visit different parts of the city, you will be able to see that the prices are approximately the same. You can eat at a cafe for 100 baht, and a massage at my favorite massage parlor, Savanna, in Pratumnak, costs 250 baht.

Pratamnak in Pattaya is distinguished by a large number of cafes and bars on the coast; further from the coast there are numerous hotels and inns that are ready to welcome tourists at any time of the year. There are merchants on the beach who offer tourists a choice of food and drinks, but if you have special preferences, they will also fulfill them for an additional fee. There are not many shops here, but there is a 7-Eleven.

The development of services on Pratumnak keeps up with the times, so there is free Wi-Fi on the beaches. Unfortunately, the data transfer speed is not as fast as we would like, but it is enough to scroll through pages on Instagram or Twitter. Of course, you won't be able to watch movies online, so it's better to go to your local cinema (although the movie will be in Thai or English).

What to do in Pratumnak in Pattaya: activities and attractions

One of the advantages of a holiday in Pratumnak in Pattaya is its close proximity to popular attractions of the city - Buddha Mountain, a Chinese temple and an observation deck. You can get to them on foot in 15-30 minutes. Along the way there is a magnificent park - one of the few in the city. There we also found wonderful barrels of water - you can cool off in the heat.

Must visit observation deck View Point - offers amazing views of Pattaya.

Here you can not only take a lot of wonderful shots, but also see a monument to one of the most revered people in Thailand - Prince Krom. Locals consider this place sacred, so fresh flowers are constantly brought there.

When visiting this attraction, remember the rules that must be followed there. Smoking and wearing open clothes are prohibited here; also note that you should not take water or food with you, since taking it there is also prohibited.

Among the places of worship on the hill is Wat Khao Phra Bat, where you can see statues corresponding to different days of the week. If you want to receive an individual blessing from a monk, then this temple has such an opportunity.

As for entertainment, the main ones, without which it is difficult to imagine a holiday for a modern tourist, are enough to not get bored. Of course, the Pratumnak area has room to develop and has not yet built a nightclub there. If this is a fundamental issue for you, then you can visit the clubs on Volkin Street - getting there by mobile transport is only 15 minutes.

Also nearby in Pratumnak there are no shopping and entertainment centers in the form to which we are accustomed. But this is well compensated by the presence of various trading stalls and small shops - they have everything you need for relaxation and interesting things for gifts and souvenirs.

How to get to and from Pratumnak

This issue worries many tourists, especially since many share their negative experiences in their reviews. Indeed, in Pratumnak there are certain difficulties with this, since there is no public transport there. Fortunately, you can get there on foot, but only during the day. If you don’t want to strain your legs, taxi drivers offer services. In addition to regular taxi cars, there are motorcycle taxis (motosai) - they are cheaper in cost, on average you need to pay from 100-250 baht for such a trip. The savings are obvious when compared to a car equipped with air conditioning for 250 baht.

During the day from Pratumnak in Pattaya to Bali Hai - 150-200 baht, in the evening back from the center - 300 baht. It's a long way from Songthaew. And not every tuk-tuk or motorbike rides. They make faces: “Is this going uphill? Nope..." Walking at night from Pratamnak is dangerous. You can mentally lose a certain amount of money and other valuables. You can’t go anywhere without personal transport, or immediately budget money for a taxi. The Thais are not fools either, and they understand that you can’t just get out of the Pratamnak area on foot, the price tag is growing quickly.

Selecting suitable housing: the best options

When analyzing different accommodation options in Pattaya, please note that in addition to hotels, it is possible to rent a room, condominium or an entire house from a private owner. To get an idea of prices, consider several options at once. On average, you can rent a room for 400-900 baht per day. If you decide to stay here for a long time, then you need to provide at least 10,000 baht for rent.

These prices are relevant for houses located near the coastline. Typically, such housing involves a small studio room, which, however, is sufficient for living with children. If you want to rent housing for a large group, then a condominium with separate apartments of one or two rooms is ideal. For this, you will accordingly have to pay a large amount - 16-25,000 baht per month.

Pratumnak Hotels

It is easier for tourists to rent a hotel room, since they can book it themselves or through a travel agency. In Pratumnak in Pattaya there is a good selection of hotels with different levels of service and cost. There are very well-known expensive chains and several guesthouses here. Let's look at the main list of hotels in Pratumnak.
