Comments from our managers

Very good 5* on the first line, located in Hadaba. The hotel has 5 swimming pools, 1 heated and a children's pool with a slide. It takes a long time to get to the beach, but you can take a boat, there are 3 pontoons, the beach is coral. Animation is active. Mini bar in the room empty, tea set available, maximum occupancy standard 2+1. WI-FI in the lobby free of charge, in the room 30 min. $4 Hotel for active tourists And family vacation

Good A on the first line. The peculiarity of the coast is that it takes a long time to get to the beach, but there is an elevator. There are 3 pontoons on the beach, one of which is underwater. There is a cleared swimming area for children. Active animation, there is a disco, 2 A la carte restaurants (you can dine once for free). For children there is a mini club, swimming pool and slide. Dreams Vacation has a babysitter (free). The room has not very wide beds, tea set is only for repeat guests. Internet in the lobby is paid: $4 for half an hour, $6 per day and $13 per day. The hotel has more Russian-speaking guests. I recommend it for all categories of tourists, but it is worth taking into account the peculiarities of the coast.

The hotel is on a hill, there is a good Observation deck, which offers stunning views of the Red Sea. The common area is with the Dreams Vacation 4* hotel, so the area is very large, but not very green. The rooms are nice. There is a disco, shared by 2 hotels. All food is available 24 hours a day. The beach is only coral, there is no entry for summer. there are 3 pontoons on the beach. There are water slides. The hotel is for active tourists and family vacations. We liked it.

The area is simple. 5 swimming pools: 2 heated in winter. Children's club (around the playground there are cages with beautiful birds). The animation is unobtrusive. 3 pontoons - 100 m and 30 m.

A hotel with good landscaped grounds, but more 4* than 5*. In my opinion, the hotel looks like a Soviet-era boarding house. There are 2 water slides. The hotel is on a hill, there is a good observation deck with stunning views of the Red Sea. There is a descent to the beach, the beach itself is not big, the entrance is only by pontoon. There is a beautiful coral reef nearby. Since the beach is located below the hotel, the sun disappears quite quickly. The hotel has very good animation, including in Russian.

Youth and family hotel with a huge well-groomed green area. Food and service at 4*. Hotel for active tourists, good disco, funny animation. Gorgeous reef with 3 pontoons for entering the sea. Common area of Dreams Beach and Dreams Vacation. There are water slides.

  • “Dreams Beach Resort” – THE SHORE OF YOUR DREAM. Paradise paradise. In this hotel, my husband and I met all the good things that we encountered in other hotels we had previously visited: stunning marine flora and fauna, as in the “Alba Club Tower Bay Resort & Spa (ex.tropicana New Tower)” (we even managed to photograph squid , moray eel and octopus); varied food, as at Desert Rose Resort in Hurghada; cozy and well-groomed area, like in “Zahabia Village & Beach Resort”; comfort, multi-level lighting and cleanliness in the room as in the Amc Azur Grand Resort; service, animation and friendly atmosphere, like in “Sunny Days El Palacio (ex. Sunrise El Palacio Resort)”. In this hotel all the advantages come together.
We had a great time in this wonderful hotel. Only one thing darkened the mood - the hotel guide - Mohamed Abdel Azim. His irritation from communicating with tourists was too obvious. Let's explain what's going on: some neighbors on the beach, without explanation, had their departure days and hours postponed: some had their hotel stay extended by 2 days, others had their stay reduced by half a day. On the eve of departure, we came to look at the lists of departures and find out whether the date and time of our departure had been postponed. Childishly, hiding the lists behind his back, Mohamed Abdel Azim said that he would read them out when all those leaving had gathered. We don’t think that the Ukrainian couple was interested in listening to information related to our departure, just as the information intended for them left us indifferent. Having handed out forms to fill out, the guide said that in 5 minutes his working day would end, and our lack of glasses and pens was not his problem. It’s good that communication with him was only twice.
Dreams Beach Resort is the best hotel we have ever seen. We recommend it to everyone, especially for the disabled people. The hotel is fully equipped with ramps and even has an elevator to the beach. A wonderful, amazing, huge hotel created a feeling of bliss and the warmest memories for us for a long time.

  • Normal relaxing holiday no frills.
There’s not much time, so the review this time will be unstructured and slightly chaotic.

As a person who has experience of visiting 11 Egyptian hotels (I won’t write the names, some of them have my reviews here, but the geography is: Marsa Alam, Makkadi Bay, Safaga, Hurghada, Sharm Nabq, etc.), and, I believe, experience allows me to compare based on familiarity with Egyptian standards, so: I want to responsibly declare that I completely do not share the negative reviews that greet both Tophotels and Tripadvisor.

For reasons beyond my control, this year I had to go on vacation in mid-December. Accordingly, they looked for conditions where the rock would cover the sea from the wind, and where there would be a bay. And since in 2017 we vacationed in this part of the coast in Sharm in The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh, then the choice fell on the neighboring one, across the fence, DREAMS BEACH RESORT SHARM EL SHEIKH 5*. Having read the reviews, I was ready to end up in some kind of, excuse me, shithole, where there is no service, no normal rooms, no greenery, well, there is nothing good at all, well, except perhaps the reef, which is also dying. But there was no choice, plus, I was traveling with a family of 5 people (and two other families of friends), and these are two rooms only for a family, therefore, the budget also did not allow for the opportunity to go wild.

Upon arrival, fortunately, I breathed freely...

Friends! Normal hotel. General concept: there is everything you need, but without any frills. If it were a 4, I would confidently give 5 points everywhere. For a 5, I’ll give almost all points a solid 4. Of course, I admit that the hotel is at the stage of renovation, I don’t know, maybe we got there already when we corrected the errors listed in many previous reviews. But all those who traveled with me completely agree with my assessment. And of these, only the third time they were in Egypt for the first time, and who, having read all sorts of reviews, did not want to go through, solely because of the company, terribly screwed up, prejudiced, in anticipation of all sorts of horrors. The trip almost didn’t even get cancelled... Fortunately, everything worked out.

We arrived at the hotel around 8 am (although the hotel is not far from the airport, but this time we drove in circles for a very long time, about 1.5 hours, apparently the anex employees know that they don’t immediately check into this hotel, and so they plan the route in order to shorten waiting for check-in at the hotel). There were allegedly no rooms available yet, and bracelets were not issued before check-in. And drinking water in the lobby bar, and in all other bars, is paid. This is kind of a minus, but it is compensated by the fact that water is supplied to the rooms every day in one and a half liter bottles. Even if you don’t want your room to be cleaned, they still leave it under the door. Therefore, there is no shortage of water during vacation, but immediately upon arrival it is advisable to have your own supplies in your luggage.

So. This means they didn’t give me bracelets or numbers, they said they would definitely give me them by 2:00 p.m., and before that I should come periodically and inquire. Well, we left our things, changed clothes, and went straight to the sea. I still didn’t want to have breakfast after the flight. We immediately walked around the entire area. The hotel is medium sized. We saw both more and less. Landscaping is similar, average level. This is a desert, one should not expect thickets and prairies here. Yes, the same Charmillion is significantly greener. But, for example, Cleopatra Luxury Resort (which is one of the 100 best hotels Egypt, and where tours are three times more expensive) besides palm trees, in comparison with Dream Beach, it can be said that it has nothing at all. And then everything was discovered that two years ago they saw in the more expensive Grand Hotel. Quite acceptable for this zone! Having read the reviews, I expected to see the Gobi Desert.

The area is well maintained. Banana peels, cigarette butts, leftover food, nothing lying around anywhere. Although I noticed that there are not very many staff, if not few. Yes, the hotel is simple, the paths are not marble, just ordinary tiles. I say: everything is simple, no frills, but functional. Along the road we go down to the sea. It looks like tiers to the water. Going up and down is not difficult, the angle of descent/elevation allows even older people to walk calmly.

On the way we pass the main pool. Large, clean, 1.40 deep. No heating. I never swam there, I only touched the water. It’s cold, 20 degrees. Next to it there is a small pool, about 10 meters in diameter, with a depth that seems 3 or 4 meters, I don’t remember exactly. It's probably good there in the summer. In the same pool (mostly in the sense) there is the main slide of this hotel (I do not attribute the slides in the neighboring Dreams Vacation from the same chain to this hotel). I didn't swim, but quite a lot of people did. There is also a booth with towels. Half new, half old, but not worn out to the point of sheets. The sunbeds near this pool are, yes, wooden, not new. And the mattresses are normal, not torn, not dented, not dirty. Simple, no finipers. By the way, in Albatross Waterpark in Hurghada, where tours for several hundred bucks on the same day were more expensive, the sun loungers on the beach are rubbish in comparison.

There is a snack bar near the same pool. From 16 to 17 there are hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, etc. Sometimes they give you rolls that you fill yourself with cheese, sausage, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.

We pass the pool and go directly to the shore. It is sort of divided into three zones. The enclave on the far right (if you look at the sea) is a landlocked zone. There is a heated swimming pool, 20 meters in diameter, 1.40 deep, next to it there is a children's puddle that is knee-deep for adults, and a children's slide there. Near the Grill House pool. This is like a dining restaurant right on the seashore, so that the dining room in main building do not go. It seems to be open from 12 to 15. There is an elevator descent to this area from top level, on which the hotel itself is located. From the elevator you can walk along the road along the coast to the farthest beach. Apparently, the elevator was installed only to meet the Egyptian 5 star standard. There is no particular need for it. At the same time, you can go down here along the steps with a kind of zig-zag. An improvised shuttle goes to the elevator from the lobby: a truck with benches installed in length, passengers sit sideways in the direction of travel. This is for the very lazy.

At this point I will complain about the hotel. While this pool was heated, everything was fine. But somewhere on the 6th day of rest, something broke, or was turned off to save money, I don’t know, but after that the water in it dropped to indecently cold, it became difficult to enter without internal heating. The children stopped swimming altogether. We complained, in response they showed a show of repairs, someone in special uniform came, opened the hatches, etc., went down to the pumping room, but they did not repair it until the end of the holiday. I recommend that those who are planning to go there ask not only whether there are heated swimming pools there, but also whether they are OPEN during this period. Well, we began to swim in the sea even more often. It was warmer.

There are umbrellas and sun loungers under them around the pool. New, plastic. We lived there, left things there, and made forays to the sea several times a day. Mostly quiet, even children don’t bother us too much. Music doesn't play. It’s loud only when they do aqua aerobics in this pool, but as I understand it, this is only in winter. Please note that the sun hides behind the elevator shaft early at altitude. Around 15.30

This area has its own bar. Beverages? Well, the drinks: yes, the same as everywhere else, as in the bulk of Egyptian hotels. Yes, a shmurdyak who doesn’t really interject. But we drank exactly the same drinks in the hotel, which has a rating of 4.7 on Tophotels, and even higher on Tripadvisor, where the main contingent were Germans. So this is not a criterion. You won’t get sick, but it’s better, of course, to bring something else with you, for variety. Yes, the beer was good, even though it was on tap. There was no bottle service. No juices. Coffee is only instant, but there is always hot coffee. So is hot tea. They sit in teapots, you pour yourself. At every bar.

They pour VERY LARGE glasses at once, and without vandollar. They don't save. Apparently, so that they would not be distracted by repeated visits.

We move from right to left. There is a large dirt area without access to the sea, where there are just sunbeds, where it is good to sunbathe. They also do stretching and gymnastics, or whatever it’s called, I didn’t get into it.

Next there is a rock in the sea, which separates the first zone from the second along the shore. The second one is smaller, there is the first small pier, from which we dived immediately upon arrival. To say that I was stunned is to say nothing. On December 9, I expected at least 22 degrees, but I couldn’t expect the real 26, or even more! Then I immediately realized that choosing the bay behind the rock was an absolutely correct and justified decision! Subsequently, the temperature dropped by about 2 degrees by the end of the holiday, but the sea was warm all the time. The rock reliably covered the entire coast from the wind. In the middle of the holiday, it was a little stormy for two days, we didn’t swim. And in comparison with the Storms in Marsa Alam, it couldn’t even be called a storm. There wasn’t much wind on the shore, even from the sea. But they weren’t allowed into the sea. Then it calmed down and everything became ok.

There is also a bar here, larger than the one I described above. They make wonderful crepes there! Pancakes with jam, powdered sugar, preserves, honey, etc. I'm not a sweet tooth, but even I tried them regularly. The children were constantly running. They give unlimited amounts.

In this area there is a sunbed next to a sunbed. It's cramped, there are a lot of people. Well, those who want to be closer to the sea. This is like the main beach. There is music, animation, darts, and something else.

So, a few words about animation. I liked them: we didn’t touch them, they did us :) No, of course they came up, offered to participate, but did not impose themselves. When we ourselves wanted something, then we ourselves joined them. Thanks to them. This short, plump, curly-haired Egyptian was especially active. He was very enthusiastic about aqua aerobics and got a lot of grannies. And active on the show. Our girls animators were also on the level. I didn't ask for names. We worked normally all day. We weren't lazy. The Kazakh guy too.

We go further along the shore. Again there is a rock that separates the previous beach from the next bay, which is the main, large one, where a long reef runs across. Immediately behind this rock there is an entrance to the sea from the shore into a very small, separate pit-cove, separated by buoys. This is for children and non-swimmers. You can go up to your chest. 20-30 meters in diameter. It would be desirable to have corrals there, although I didn’t see any sharp stones there. We go further along the parapet, and we have a normal pier, from which you can either simply dive into the water, or go down the stairs. It leads to a normal reef zone, which, as for Sharma, is quite. By the way, the depth there is about 10 meters. You can clearly see everything down there. A little further from the reef the bottom is not visible at all.

In general, after Marsa, of course, it can be argued that there is no reef in Sharma. But this is maximalism, of course. My friend, who had previously only traveled to the Black, Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas, saw this reef for the first time and said: “Compared to this sea, all the other seas I’ve been to are not seas!” Yes, there are only 20 or 30 species of fish, the basic Egyptian set, and not 100, as in Mars. There are no moray eels, turtles and manatees, no manta rays and octopuses, or crocodile fish, and many other things that can be seen further south in the Red Sea. But if you haven’t seen all this, or have previously vacationed somewhere in Hurghada (or near it) - you can safely come here. The reef is very beautiful for Sharma. For those who have seen more, it may not be anything special. But is everything known by comparison? As for Mars - not very much. But in comparison with Hurghada, it’s just right. There's a lot to see there.

From this pier we swam both to the right and to the left along its entire length. In my opinion, the reef to the right is more interesting. To the left (again, this is all oriented if I’m describing it by looking at the sea) at first it’s normal, but then the reef is actually overgrown with algae, and that’s where it’s probably “dying.” The farthest and longest pier leads to that “dying” zone of the reef, which is, as it were, submerged, and therefore slippery, and leads from the beach farthest to the left, where a serpentine staircase leads out. But we didn’t go there, so I won’t say anything about that beach.

We've sorted out the sea and the shore. Go ahead. We returned from the sea at about 10.30, we were immediately called to the reception. They said there are rooms, but they say you have to pay a little extra for a good building. To hell with it. Someone wrote above that they had agreed for $10 to be moved from the room they didn’t like, and he immediately said the same thing: 10 bucks, and not a cent more, but that everything would be on the level! And everything is ok. Immediately bracelets, cards, shuttle, etc. We found ourselves in a newly renovated building, No. 31. Great room. You can see the sea from the balcony. Everything you need is there. Everything is clean, everything is intact. Safe, refrigerator, TV, everything. Good bed with a normal high mattress. My back didn't hurt. Absolutely normal number! Building 31 was exactly the same, renovated in appearance. At the same time, repairs to buildings 28 and 29 were underway. So, in the future it will be possible to go there.
Towels were changed, blankets were made, swans were sold for a vandollar. Standard. They didn’t show monkeys or anything else exotic, everything was simple, no frills :) But we didn’t need it. In general, we always clean up every other day at most.

People are dispersed throughout the territory (except for the beach directly on the shore near the pier), fortunately, the territory allows it. No one sits on each other’s heads, the music doesn’t really add to the numbers.

Staff. Well, really, I expected a lot worse. The reviews were inflated. But it turned out that people work normally! I thought, as sometimes happens, to use vandollars to increase the level of service, but as it turned out, there was no particular need for this, although I ended up giving away everything that I planned to give there. But as a thank you, and not to purchase a service. At all the bars, in the restaurant, in the grill house, they served normally with a smile, joked with the children, and worked quickly. I didn’t notice any arrogance. I would especially like to mention the lifeguard Ahmed-Sheriff near the heated pool. Before you have time to go to the pool in the morning, he will immediately come up and ask how many sunbeds you need and where it is best to place them. He will transfer everything himself, give information about the hotel, about everything, anything in Egypt, he will guard things, etc. etc.. An excellent conversationalist, not intrusive. Hi to him!

I was also impressed by the general manager (well, as far as I understood) of that snack restaurant near the main pool, where we always went for coffee and snacks after the sun set behind the elevator shaft near the heated pool, which I wrote about earlier (plus our women went for Zumba). This is about 16. Somehow, from the first day, he singled us out, and always served our company personally. Polite, courteous, and so, I would say, respectable that I had to improve my English :) Well, very pleasant service. Of course, we were not in debt. But not only financially, but a separate “shukran” as a “see you tomorrow” on our part.

Nutrition. Everything is simple here: nothing special. There is everything you need, but no more: chicken, beef, kofta (chicken, meat, kebab cutlets, who didn’t understand), mashed potatoes (mashed potatoes, by the way, are not bad, made with butter and milk, not olive oil), rice , pasta, one dish from the chef (fish, or turkey, or another veal beef), for those who like it, the chef prepares spaghetti in Neapolitan sauce or bechamel (two sauces, not 4 as in some hotels). Two soups for lunch and dinner are a must, as for me, onion and tomato are traditionally the best. There is always some kind of vegetarian dish. You won't go hungry, but there's no variety. As you understand, we didn’t go there just for him, I’m not a gourmet at all, so this didn’t affect our vacation in any way. I didn’t leave the sea for lunch; I ate at the grill house near the pool. We find almost everything the same as in the main restaurant, but the soup is always vegetarian. And sweets, of course, no pastries, no cakes, you still can’t keep them on the street. Baklava, cookies, buns. There are always avocados, oranges, tangerines (the second two are always very sweet, normal), cucumbers, tomatoes (the latter are less common). In the main restaurant there are 4-6 types of cakes. 8-10 cakes. Yes, not 20. Well, we’re fine. For dinner there is always factory-made ice cream on a stick. So-so, but there.

All food is Europeanized. No one was ever poisoned, including children. Oh, I’ll also note that in the morning there are two whole cooks preparing scrambled eggs and omelettes. Apparently, there used to be a queue, but now the situation has been corrected.

I really liked the Christmas motifs in which both the lobby and the main restaurant were decorated. Or rather, not even the decoration itself, but the musical background! All the time he plays Christmas songs in the style of Sinatra, such an American Christmas, like from the movies. Retro:

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
Since we"ve no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Smart decision. Not loud, doesn’t interfere with talking, doesn’t burden you, relaxes.

By the way, every evening there is live music on the platform near the lobby! The singer (I don’t remember her name, please forgive me, I think Julia) performs all the hits we know. And old Soviet, and from the new stage, and English-language hits, in general, the whole set. Performs with inspiration and originality! The only thing is that her equipment is already flying, to put it mildly. The high-frequency speaker is already wheezing, preventing you from enjoying the songs at the most pleasant moment. Administration - buy normal speakers! The idea of daily live music is great, but the implementation ruins everything.

There seems to be internet in the lobby, but like in all hotels in Egypt, only when the wind blows. We bought an 8 gig SIM card for 8 euros at the airport, I think. This salad. This hotel is doing great.

The contingent at the hotel was mainly from the CIS, a few Italians, and very few locals. But I’ll tell you honestly: this time I didn’t see a single case of outright Tagil. Nice relaxing holiday. Mostly middle-aged and older people. The hotel is not for youth.

We went to the center. Taxis negotiated $5 round trip. It could have been cheaper, but it was too lazy to waste time. In the center we bought strawberries for 1.5 dollars a pack. And then we went to the Dreams Vacation hotel next to ours (the territory is combined, you can move from hotel to hotel without leaving the territory), there are many more shops there than in Dream Beach. If you enter the corridor with shops near their lobby from the pool, go to the distant store with vegetables and fruits. There's a guy there who gives you 3 packs for $3. There is no point in going to the center. Before leaving, we bought mangoes for 2 euros per kg. from the Egyptian Imed, who runs a small stand-alone shop on the road from the lobby to the conference room. Always stands in national clothes. In the center the price is the same or more expensive.

By the way, in Vikation there is a whole aviary with parrots, and some other living creatures. Children are interested. There seems to be only one pool there, but it’s all heated. And there are convenient exits from the pool to the cabins that protect from the wind. You can dry yourself there. Smart solution, first time I've seen this.

The insects weren't particularly annoying. They didn't even install a fumigator. Probably because it's December.

When flying back, the bracelets were cut off immediately after checking in at 12.00. And they picked us up from the hotel somewhere around 16.30. Officially, the use of restaurants and bars ceases. Well, we put our things in the storage room and continue to swim at sea. And believe me: we didn’t go hungry or without drinks, although I won’t say how. I’ll just give you a hint: be simpler and kinder during your vacation, and people will flock to you, including the service staff;) The administration also reacted normally to everything, and did not find fault during this period.

In general, a simple hotel without much variety, but with everything necessary for a normal holiday, with decoration, instead of the missing pomp, a good reef, like for Charm. If you love fintipers, and the sea is secondary for you, then this is not the place for you. If, due to budgetary restrictions, or other considerations, you are ready to sacrifice delights and variety, 8 hot dishes to choose from are enough for you for lunch, and no more, your friends are going with you, with whom you will arrange a good holiday for yourself everywhere, and at In this case, the sea plays a big role for all of you - you can safely come here. Have a good rest. We didn’t see anything so terrible that could ruin our vacation so much.

Especially Sharm el-Sheikh is one of the most popular places for both winter and summer holiday Russian tourists. However, they are especially popular in winter, when here in temperate and northern latitudes there is slush and frosty weather, and the sun is in great short supply. And at this time there, on the African continent, on some turquoise beach, next to a comfortable and star hotel, for example, Dreams Beach Resort Sharm El Sheikh Egypt, thousands of tourists from all over the world bask in the gentle southern sun on cozy sun loungers and under bamboo umbrellas. Naturally, they very quickly forget about the cold and sub-zero temperatures.

Egypt - the country of the sun!

Everyone without exception probably knows about Egypt. Of course, our textbooks ancient history they begin to tell the story with a story about this country. Naturally, a state with a thousand-year history should be rich in attractions. And so it is. However, not only famous pyramids Pharaohs, sphinxes and other ancient architectural monuments attract many travelers and tourists here. Egypt is popular for its magnificent beaches, on which there are dozens of comfortable hotel complexes from two to five stars, such as the Dreams Beach Resort 5* hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh, as well as incredible beauty underwater world. This is why there are many diving training centers along the Egyptian coast.

Sharm el-Sheikh - the pearl of the Red Sea

    How to get there?

So, if you decide to go to the best of the Egyptian resorts located on the shores of the Red Sea to relax in one of the fashionable hotel complexes, for example, Dreams Beach Resort 5 * (Dreams Beach Resort), then you need to buy a ticket to one of charter flights to the only airport in Sharm - Ras Nazran. Flight time is 4 hours 30 minutes. As for regular flights, they are only in two directions: to the capital of Egypt, Cairo, or Big City Alexandria. From there you can get to the resort either by bus, or by taxi or rented car, or by some other domestic flight. For those who are planning to buy a tour, please note: almost all packages include transfer, that is, delivery from the Sharm el-Sheikh airport to the desired hotel.

    Districts of Sharm el-Sheikh

The coast of this resort is indented with bays, along which there are picturesque areas. They are united by the central street Peace Road. The oldest of them is Naama Bay. It is the most comfortable one. The infrastructure here is quite developed, there are many high-class hotels, restaurants and bars. Sharm el Maya is famous for its magnificent sandy beaches and the colorful old oriental market, but Sharks Bay is famous for its incredibly beautiful coral reefs. As for Nabq, it is a rather young and rapidly developing area, and Ras Um El Sid Bay, or Hadobah, where the aforementioned Dreams Beach Resort (Sharm El Sheikh, 5 stars) is located, is famous for its wonderful coral gardens, in which there is a great variety of marine life. Of course, corals starting right from the shore interfere free entry in the sea, so there are pontoons on the beaches, which ensure the safety of tourists. In addition, guests are recommended to wear special rubber slippers to protect their feet from damage.

    Climatic conditions

As noted above, in the Red Sea resorts the beach period continues throughout the year. Nevertheless, experts distinguish between two seasons: winter (mild) and summer (hot). The first one is suitable for those who are not used to very high temperatures, and the second one is suitable for those who can’t keep warm or tolerate hot temperatures perfectly. By the way, it practically never rains in these parts. And the air temperature in summer can rise above 40 degrees and stay that way throughout the entire summer period. Nevertheless, low humidity and periodically blowing winds help tourists easily tolerate such heat. But in winter it gets cool here at night, and the thermometer drops to 14-16 degrees. Dreams Beach Resort 5* (Egypt, Sharm el-Sheikh): reviews from tourists

Guests who have visited Dream Beach, leaving their comments about the service and design of the hotel, often mention that it does not meet the standards of the five-star category. However, the reviews are mostly positive. Tourists are pleased with the abundance of entertainment, excellent cuisine, and a large selection restaurants and bars, a variety of opportunities for lovers of active leisure and sports, and of course, magnificent, crystal clear beaches, as well as the opportunity to go diving. This hotel is also convenient in its location, as many vacationers point out in their reviews. It is located close to the central part of the resort, where they are located shopping centers, shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as from the old town, notable for its oriental bazaar. Tourists also note the beautiful lighting in the evenings, when the hotel area turns into a real one, as a plus. oriental fairy tale. But the most important disadvantage is the lack of conscientiousness of the staff in maintaining cleanliness and order both in the rooms and throughout the hotel complex, including in restaurants and on the beach.

We weren't chasing high level service, but were looking for a hotel with a good coral reef, normal food and developed infrastructure. We were very pleased with our choice of the Dreams Beach hotel.
The hotel is old, the reception has a hint of ancient pomp, the water in the improvised fountain is constantly making noise. Upon arrival, we handed the receptionists passports with 20 dollars and asked for a room on the second floor (I am terribly afraid of all kinds of living creatures), preferably with a hint of a sea view. The room we were given was not bad, next to the sports ground, with a side view of the sea. It took only 5 minutes to walk to the left side of the beach, and the same amount to the reception and main restaurant. The young man cleaned the room very responsibly. On the days when we left tips, he folded towels and blankets into animal shapes. The furnishings and furniture in the room are old, the room itself is not very big. It was a bit cramped for us, considering that an extra bed was provided for our son.
Now about the main thing - the beach. The beach is divided into 2 parts. We preferred the left side, which is closer to our room. Descent to the left side by stairs, descent to the right side along a steep path (suitable for families with children in strollers). A path under a rock connects both sides of the beach, very romantic place, if not for the smell of stagnant water. Entrance to the sea is via pontoons; on the left side there is shallow water for children. The coral reef is interesting, but to see something large, you need to come to the sea early.
Food at the hotel for every taste. There is a lot of food, you can eat everywhere. The main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The grill restaurant on the beach is open for lunch every day, and for dinner by appointment once a week. Additionally, there are Mexican and Italian restaurants by appointment once a week. The Mexican one was very tasty, but the Italian one was not at all. The food is the same every day, but if someone complains, don’t believe it. We were not able to try all the dishes in 10 days. The tables were really bursting with abundance. Lots of chicken, meat, side dishes, specific oriental salads, desserts, fruits. The drinks are powdered, there are all types of soda, beer and wine are normal, we did not drink strong alcohol.
The spa center is very decent, the gym is almost new, there is no variety of exercise equipment, but the most basic things are present. Animation invites you to all entertainment and sporting events. They work all day long, tirelessly. Evening shows are weak. We played tennis during daylight hours free of charge once with prior reservation. We went to the city. We walked to the left of the hotel, there are shops and a shopping area.
We booked excursions to Jerusalem, Petra and the Colored Canyon. We took everything on the Internet, upon arrival we bought a local SIM card and made an agreement over the phone with Red Sea Travel (this is how you can type them into a search engine), then paid for excursions when leaving the hotel. The child endured all the hardships well, and we liked everything too.
We were very pleased with the hotel and plan to return next year.
