Summer for me was not rich in adventure and travel. I stayed in the city with my parents. While my parents went to work, I helped them around the house: I washed the dishes, cleaned and sometimes even cooked dinner.

Many people spend their summers on warm southern seas, but this summer we decided to go to the White Sea. It is located in the north of Russia and is also called Studeny. There are islands in the very center of the sea. They are called Solovetsky. My parents and I went there. The trip took place at the end of July, so for the first half of the summer I made a list of necessary things and read information about Solovki on the Internet.
The Solovetsky Islands include several islands:

Who and why built them on the island is unknown, but they are more than several thousand years old. You cannot walk through the labyrinths on Zayatsky Island, because the island is a nature reserve.
On the second day, we rented bicycles and went to Bolshaya Muksalma Island, which is connected with Bolshoy Solovetsky Island by a man-made dam from huge stones 1km long. When we rented bicycles, we were told that the road to the dam is bad, the distance to it is 11 kilometers, some of which we will have to carry the bicycles on ourselves. It will take an hour and a half. To say that the road is bad is to say nothing! Huge puddles, swamps - we all met! But the dam is worth a look.
On Mount Sekirnaya, there was an excursion on the third day, there is a skete - a lighthouse, and from there from observation deck opens beautiful view to the Big Solovetsky Island! Sekirnaya Mountain is the highest point of the island. It is not easy to climb there - a wooden staircase leads upstairs. They say that a person who has ascended it is forgiven 1 sin!
The main attraction of the Big Solovetsky Island is the Monastery, a unique structure. The walls are made of huge boulders. It is a kind of fortress that has withstood several sieges. While on vacation, we learned something new every moment. A wonderful ride on the symbol of the city, the yellow tram, stunning fado, a gorgeous oceanarium and an incredible water park. There was a lot of exotic food on the streets that was insanely delicious and nutritious.

Now I do it myself with pleasure in my free time. In July I went to the camp. The shift was very interesting! There were fun games and competitions, hikes and campfire evenings, joint trips and stage performances. In the morning we did gymnastics and other hobby groups. I learned how to make baubles, weave different braids and create hairstyles. In the afternoon we had a competitive program, we prepared for performances and performed various tasks. The counselors prepared quests for us, we were looking for different accessories and items. In the evenings we spent time in nature, singing and dancing. We also went to the forest and studied the local nature. The counselors showed the birds and animals living in the reserve. On the last day of the shift, we took part in a concert and a theatrical performance. I played a good fairy, I was praised. When I returned home, my family and I went to barbecue, and the next weekend we went to the water park. It was very fun and pleasant for me in the company of my most beloved people.
In August we helped my grandmother to harvest, and my mother baked delicious pies with apples and currants. It was very interesting, but I was already looking forward to returning to school, to my friends from class. Now I have something to tell them.

My parents were afraid to send me on the train, but I coped well with it, forgot nothing and behaved decently. It was very hot and beautiful in the south. There was a sea not far from the camp. Every day it played with new colors. It was great to swim there. The water was warm and clear. At the bottom you could find shells. The guys in my room showed me how to swim faster and dive deeper. We even had small competitions and I performed well. There were also sections of interest in the camp. I prefer fighting and sports, so I studied karate and watched older guys boxing. Soon I will also be able to get into such a circle. I also remember the delicious and varied food. I would love to go there again. At the end of the summer, I walked a lot and rode my bike. I was entrusted with the duty of going to the store and visiting my grandmother.
During this summer I grew up and matured. Now I have more responsibilities, but they control me less. I am glad that I am becoming an adult. Next summer I will definitely ask for a ticket again and get to know another new city.

(261 words) Summer is the best time of the year to relax. I did not waste it and often walked. We regularly met with our friends, went out into nature with our parents and went to the cinema. I learned to play badminton and volleyball. In addition, I met new friends.
In June, my parents often took me to various picnics and meetings. We grilled kebabs, went fishing and even took a short hike. It was fun, warm and beautiful outdoors. I collected wildflowers and made wreaths from them. They also showed me how to collect brushwood to light a fire and how to navigate the forest. They even bought me my own blanket, and then promised to buy a tent. Also, my dad gave me videos that I wanted for a long time. Now outdoor games have become more diverse. While my parents were at work, I roller-skated and had fun on the playground. On weekends, Mom and Dad took me out to the movies or some place to play. I visited bowling for the first time. At first I was unable to hit the pins, but then I was able to direct the ball correctly. The first account was not successful, but then I will definitely learn to play well. My parents also brought me badminton rackets. In our yard, we played all day long. I can already play quite successfully. At the end of the summer, my mother and I baked charlottes and made stuffed peppers together. I learned to cook.
This summer was not only fun but also very instructive. I was able to try new sports and games, prepare an autumn menu and get some basic knowledge of forest safety. Soon my parents and I will go to the forest to pick mushrooms, and I will learn to distinguish useful from harmful.

Summer began with worries and new responsibilities. I helped relatives to plant vegetables, take care of fruit trees and flowers. I was treated to pickles, homemade pies and kvass. I watered the garden every day and sometimes helped weed it. In between classes, I ran to abandoned apple trees, played with the neighbour's children, and rode my bike. The boys and I built a tree house and played in it. The rest of the time I sat at the computer. My father allows me to play computer games related to history. In the middle of summer there were less worries, and my parents and I went to the nature to swim. I learned to swim fast and ride a catamaran. It's like riding a bike, only in the water. It was hard for me to get used to it, but I coped with dignity. Also in nature we fried meat, and I mastered the grill. Now I can look after the kebabs and put out the fire when the coals are on fire. Dad says that every man should be able to fry kebabs, and I'm on my way to this.

For an hour a day I devoted time to a computer game, where I needed to equip my virtual world. There I met many of my friends from different parts of Russia. Communication with them was also my occupation. With my closest friends we walked and arranged thematic photosets. In addition, my mother allowed me to organize a pajama party at our house, where we also showed our creative inclinations. At first I was very nervous and did not know what was waiting for me there. But then I looked at photographs of southern cities and was inspired by the beautiful views. Expectations coincided with reality: my camp was in a picturesque place, the room was clean and bright, and the people were friendly and helpful. The counselors were helpful and cheerful, and the roommates quickly became friends. We spent whole days under the hot southern sun. We were taken on a boat, taken to the dolphinarium and to the beach. We swam and sunbathed, collected shells and built sand castles. In the camp itself there were many master classes and circles. We were both artists and needlewomen and sportswomen. It was very exciting and useful, I learned a lot. The counselors did vocals and dances with us, and at the end of the shift, we jointly organized a big concert. I was very happy because my parents saw me on stage. They were very proud of me and supported me morally. When I returned home, we continued to spend time with them in the place: we walked in beautiful places, took pictures, rode a motor ship, went to grandmother's and to visit friends.

My father and I celebrated the onset of summer with a go-karting trip. I learned how to drive a car within karting and even more wanted to have my own. This is still a long way off, but now I began to visit my father in the garage more often and understand the structure of the car. I decided to understand how it works from the inside, and my father helped me a lot with this. I brought him tools, helped paint over the scuffs, and began to navigate in the garage as well as in the car. This knowledge was useful to me in the repair of bicycles. I helped a lot of guys get them back to normal after winter. But days went by, and it was time to break away from the garage and do summer cottage business. I tied up raspberry bushes and tomatoes, carried water to water the garden, and fed the animals. My grandmother has goats, chickens and even turkeys. She also went to see the rabbits for breeding, and I also participated in the selection. In the evenings, my neighbors' children and I climbed trees and made bows and arrows. We also played ball. In June, I went to my grandmother's dacha. My grandmother is in the country almost all year round. It's easy to get there, even in winter, and she doesn't miss such a chance. Probably, like most grandmothers, she loves to plant a variety of plants and grow flowers. I went to my grandmother with my brother, so I never got bored. Fortunately, all June the weather was sunny and not rainy at all. In the morning we went on bicycles to the grocery store. Granny made us happy with various delicious breakfasts: she would bake pancakes or pancakes, then buns or croissants with ham and cheese, sometimes just scrambled eggs, but insanely tasty, with tomatoes and fresh herbs. In general, in one month at the dacha, my brother and I gained two kilograms each. During the day we went to the river to sunbathe and swim, and in the evening we sat down with my granny to watch the news and a movie on TV. I enjoyed sitting on the porch with my brother at sunset with a cup of strawberry tea and talking. These moments of unity with family and nature mean a lot to me.
In July, our parents decided to surprise us and informed us that we were going on a trip to Italy! We couldn't believe our ears! The vacation was planned for two weeks, mom and dad rented a house on the seashore. We went on many excursions and swam in the sea. To be honest, everything that the guide was telling us was difficult for my brother and me to grasp, so our parents simply briefly explained to us what was in front of us and why it was a sight. We were told about the Arch of Constantine, the Borghese Gallery, the Vatican Museum Complex and many others historical sites... We took a lot of photographs, and when we got home, my mother designed them in a separate beautiful album. Before leaving home, the whole family went shopping in search of gifts for family and friends. This trip is very memorable to me, because it was my first vacation abroad!
I spent the whole August in the city. Since most of my friends and classmates, even if they went somewhere on vacation, returned home in August, so we spent time together. Many films premiered this summer, so I went to the cinema four times in a month. Every weekend in the park there were all sorts of activities for children and adults, my parents and I liked it. There are many interactive sites, various master classes are held for both adults and children. My friend Dima and I also went to the amusement park on 12 August. I will never forget this day! It was very funny and scary at the same time. At the end of August, I was getting ready for school: I bought textbooks, clothes and school supplies.

The last bell rang this school year. The grades were posted in the diaries, and summer welcomed me into a vacation. I spent the first month of summer in the city with friends. We played in the yard from morning till night, and only in bad weather would we meet at someone's place to play on the computer or any other games available at home.
Then I went to rest at the children's camp. I very quickly became friends with the guys from my squad. We also made friends very quickly with the counselors, they came up with different tasks and entertainment for us. Every day interesting events took place in the camp: the war game "Zarnitsa", the day of the manager, the day of Neptune, as well as many, many concerts and competitions. From the camp I arrived refreshed and even slightly overweight.
After resting in the camp, I went to the village to see my grandmother, where my cousin was already waiting for me. How long have I dreamed of this meeting! My brother and I are best friends, but since we live in different cities, we can see each other only on vacation.
Of all the summer activities, I liked the rest with my grandmother the most. Every day we came up with new games and entertainment. We played baseball by our own rules, using homemade bats and a tennis ball, building huts, playing war, in the forest, and even managed to make a real raft that could float on the local lake, calmly supporting the weight of my brother and me.
After all the summer adventures, it was nice to be home again. A few days were just enough to move on to a calm city life. And there the first of September crept up unnoticed as always, and here I am again at school.

Together with my sister, we take care of our vegetables. Dill, parsley, sorrel and radish grow in our green garden. We are happy to water and weed our green patch. In the summer, there is enough time: you can take a walk with your girlfriends, visit them, and play different games. But most of all I was looking forward to a trip to the sea with my parents. I finally learned to swim this summer and very happy about it.
I really like the sea. It is so deep and wide, and so mysterious that sometimes it even frightens with its unpredictability. The sea can be both near and far, warm and cool. And how pleasant it is to plunge into the fresh cool water on a hot summer day! And swim, dive, splash!
Upon arrival home, I laid out sea shells on the table and, putting them to my ear, heard the sound of the surf. You can even feel the power of the sea wave that flies, and, hitting a stone, throws a lot of bright salt spray into my face.
