#1: Beach Long beach(long beach)
It is located on the west coast of the island washed by the Gulf of Thailand. Since it is located on the southwestern coast, you can, of course, watch beautiful sunsets from it, as the sun does not just set over the horizon, but seems to fall into the sea.
The beach stretches from Duong Dong and stretches south for almost twenty kilometers. The sand has a yellow tint and is bordered by a grassy edge of the coast lined with rows of coconut palms.

Bai Sao is not inferior to Long Beach in its significance and beauty. Its length is about two kilometers, and it is located in the southern part of the island, 25 kilometers from the capital Duong Dong. Bai Sao is a rather secluded beach with soft and white sand - one of the few on the island.
You can not only passively sunbathe on it, but if you prefer a whiter active holiday, then here you can rent a jet ski, go scrolling or just ride a banana. Also near the beach there are several hotels and restaurants that offer European, Vietnamese or Russian dishes.
Here in the ocean you can see starfish, if you're lucky, small squids. In the most northern and southern areas of the island, there are places where you will find corals.

The sand on the beach is dark yellow in color, and it is relatively clean. In the high season, the sea is calm here, and the water takes on various shades of blue. The southernmost part of the beach is completely deserted.
While snorkeling, you can see a starfish, a shell, and if you're lucky, sea urchins but be careful not to touch them.

How to get to the beach
If you are coming from Duong Dong city, you need to get to Highway 46 (National Highway 46) and drive south for 25 minutes. After the bridge you will find yourself in the village of Bai Sao. You need to drive along it for another 3 kilometers, and at the large billboard with the inscription "7UP" turn left. After 8-10 minutes you will find yourself at a fork with three paths - two of them lead to hotels, and the third to a bar. However, on all three roads you can get to Bai Sao Beach.

Most tourists prefer northern beach- it's noisier and more fun, there are a lot of tourists. In the south, hotels sometimes coexist with fishing villages and pearl farms. But if you want solitude, you should look for it here, in the south.
Parallel to "Long Beach" stretches the hotel village, all the deck chairs on the beach belong to some hotel. In most cases, vacationers are not driven away from sunbeds, but it is better to buy a cocktail or a glass of beer at the hotel bar.
Long Beach has a huge selection of cafes, restaurants and bars, as well as active street vendors scurrying back and forth.
