Will give you and your children a lot of unforgettable memories - endless sandy beaches, comfortable hotels and a variety of entertainment will make your vacation as pleasant and interesting as possible. Of course, the first thing you need to pay attention to when traveling with a child is the comfort of the hotel rooms and the safety of the beaches, which will be discussed in this article.

As you know, the peninsula is divided into three “fingers” -, and Agios Oros. The latter is not used for tourism, because The monasteries of the sacred Mount Athos are located there, but you will be delighted with Kassandra and Sithonia! If you prefer a noisy and fun holiday, then feel free to go to Kassandra - the most crowded and popular resort peninsula. Lovers of a quieter and more measured holiday will appreciate Sithonia.

A good family beach is coast of Sykia with shallow sea and a sports center for older children. You can also relax on beach near the tourist village of the same name (it is better to arrive early in the morning due to the large influx of tourists). Basically, only families with children relax here, so your little one won’t get bored. For those vacationing with older children, we recommend beaches, Tripotamos or (all three are in Sithonia), where, in addition to families with small children, many young people vacation. Plus, camping is allowed here in case you want to have a picnic. And on Dionysos beach On August 5 and 6, the annual noisy celebration of St. Savior's Day is held with fairs and various performances, including for children. There, at the end of July, annual cycling competitions are held for children aged 5 to 15 years, anyone can take part!

The colorful village also has family beaches – Kovios, Castries And Kalogria with wide sandy shore And calm sea no waves. Or you can go to Siviri beach near the village of the same name - the shallow sea is ideal for swimming even for those children who do not yet know how to swim.

As for hotels, in Kassandra the best option will be suitable for family holidays White Suites Resort in the resort Afitos village (Moudounos beach). We recommend a hotel in Kassandra Mendy Hotel, specially designed for families with children. Children will also be treated with special care at the hotel. Akrathos Beach Hotel, where there are babysitting services, animators and a variety of children's programs. Another family hotel - Anthemus Sea Hotel with a children's club, playground and sports section for children. You will find similar conditions in Petrino Suites Hotel, where there is even a special children's menu and furniture for the little ones.

There is also a hotel in the resort of Kassandra Pella Beach with an all-inclusive package of services and all conditions for comfortable rest with baby. Finally, you can stop at Krotiri Suites Resort in Sithonia - a comfortable family hotel on the seashore.

We spent a week of our vacation in Greece by the sea, on the Chalkidiki peninsula, in Kassandra. Just like last year, we went on vacation with the whole family, but unlike last year’s vacation in Spain (), in Greece we took more than one big house, but several. One of our houses was in Nea Fokaia, the second in Afytos, and the third in Polychrono. We went to visit each other and thus were on the beaches of each of these towns. We also went to wild beach in Sithonia, I will tell you all about this today. But everything is in order.

Halkidiki is a peninsula in the northeast of modern Greece. Halkidiki is usually “divided” into three “fingers”, or, to be more precise, into three smaller peninsulas. Kassandra is the first “finger”, the most popular peninsula. Here you can find a holiday for every taste; Kassandra also has the largest number of hotels. The second “finger” is Sithonia, as the guidebooks say (well, I personally confirm) there is less here tourist places and hotels, but this place captivates with its natural beauty. Well, the third “finger” is Athos. It is considered the most picturesque and beautiful of all. On Mount Athos there is the famous mountain of the same name and 20 Orthodox monasteries. By the way, women are not allowed to enter Athos, and men can visit the peninsula only with special permits. True, they came up with a boat excursion around Mount Athos for women. Thus, even from a distance, women can also look at this Holy place.

In general, I decided to write this short introduction for reference) For the most part, I want to tell you about the beaches of the Kassandra Peninsula and about one wild beach on the Sithonia Peninsula.

We came to Chalkidiki from Thessaloniki, it is only 80 km or 1 hour of travel. My husband, son and our grandmothers lived in Nea Fokia. The choice of housing was due to the opportunity to move into a house with a dog. And we had three of them with us on this trip) Greece is not very friendly to animals (at least for visitors))), it was very difficult to find accommodation.

But in the end we were lucky and found a two-story apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room. There was a beach 5 minutes away, the apartment itself had air conditioning (which is very important for Greece in July), wi-fi and all the necessary amenities.

I’ll tell you a little about our town of Nea Fokia, which became a city relatively recently, and was previously a fishing village. At first, I was confused by the fact that Nea Fokia is somehow too calm, there is no such city center, there is no full-fledged store (the Lidl supermarket is 10 minutes away by car), but only small mini-markers, in general the life of the city is very quiet and calm. In fact, having visited the surrounding towns, I realized that Nea Fokia is just a great find for us.

There were few tourists in this city in July; the beach was not crowded with people, unlike the beach in the city of Polichrono, where my brother and his family settled. At the same time, the city had a lot of cafes with reasonable prices, playgrounds, a clean beach with the opportunity to take a sunbed and order a soft drink or sandwiches.

By the way, in Greece there is a certain rule. Most often, sunbeds are free, but in order to relax on them, you need to order something from the bar, such as a cola or a cocktail.

Nea Fokia has very beautiful nature: an impressive cliff, planted oleanders and a clear blue sea.

There are also several interesting sights in Nea Fokia: the Byzantine Tower of St. Paul, which is located in a very picturesque place and overlooks it from the beach, as well as the Chapel of the Apostle Paul, the surviving houses of the monastery workers, as well as a cave with a spring. Agree, not bad at all for a small resort town.

For lovers of endless action, the city of Polychrono is ideal. There are simply tons of restaurants, taverns, cafes, snack bars and fast food stalls, many shops with hats, magnets and inflatable rings. There is some kind of designated center, churches and a lot of housing options. You can check into a hotel designed for almost any budget, you can find a small room with a Greek grandmother, or you can rent an entire apartment, as my brother did with his family.

When evening comes in Polychrono, the fun begins: street musicians come out onto the square, each restaurant/tavern has its own program or, again, live music, a huge number of tourists wander around for whatever purpose, and in general there is a very cheerful mood on the streets of the city.

But in my opinion, Polychrono has such an impressive disadvantage - it is the beach. I don’t rule out that everything coincided during our two visits, but I got the impression that Polychrono is Anapa circa 1995. A lot of people! The sun loungers are just right next to each other, the sea was cloudy, and at the bottom there was just a darkness of sea urchins. To find a sea urchin in Nea Fokia, we had to swim far and dive deep into the water with masks on. In Polychrono sea urchins They covered the sand right at the entrance to the water. Reef shoes are a must here. I will repeat once again that maybe everything coincided when we visited our relatives in Polychrono, but I got the impression that if a vacation is planned with small children, then our already hometown of Nea Fokia is better suited for this task. But a family with older children or couples without children would be better off in the party town of Polychrono.

We didn’t go to the town of Afytos, but we came to its beach. On this visit, we left our 2.5-year-old son with his grandmothers and decided to relax with an adult company.

To get to Afitos beach you need to go down, this can be done on foot, but it’s better if you have a car at your disposal. Afitos beach is rocky, the water is transparent blue, there is the opportunity to sunbathe “savage” (there is a place for free accommodation), or you can take a sun lounger, which belongs to the cafe.

We chose the second option and sat on the sun loungers belonging to the Lime Beach Bar cafe. Specifically, sunbeds here are paid. A huge two-seater canopy lounger costs 10 euros and also includes a lounger-pillow. This pillow can also be removed separately for 5 euros. You can lie and relax on these sunbeds as much as you want, but everything you want to drink or eat must be ordered from the cafe. True, in Greece they always bring water as soon as you take a seat in a cafe or bar. We ordered a couple more cocktails and in total, for 2-3 hours of rest, we left about 30 euros for three.

I really liked Afitos beach, Nea Fokia had beach cafes and bars but they weren't that nice. Although the sea itself was more rocky in Afitos, it was also a more expressive blue color.

Our friends vacationing in Afitos said that the city itself is simply wonderful with cobblestone streets, the Orthodox Church of St. Demetrius and a beautiful place at the very cliff for an evening promenade. Afitos also has a huge number of cafes, restaurants and taverns.

One afternoon we decided to see what the second “finger” of Halkidiki is like - Sithonia. The nature of Sithonia is simply mesmerizing. On our next visit, I would like to stay on this peninsula.

We arrived at the wild Mega Portokali Beach. The sea off the coast of this beach is simply amazing! Turquoise water, White sand, rocks and a lot of greenery - all lovers of “wild” holidays come here)

In principle, there are already enough “savages” here. Many vacationers come here with tents, cots and tents, located in the greenery or on the very rocks near the sea. You can stay here for free, but unlike well-equipped paid campsites, there are no showers or toilets, there are no shops as such, there is a small tent with quick food such as hot dogs made from cheap sausages)

As is known, Greece It is very popular among holidaymakers with children. Mild climate, clean beaches, interesting excursions and excellent service is the guarantee that a vacation with a child will not turn into painful torture, but will become one of the most vivid memories of spending time together.

The best conditions for holidays with children have been created in peninsula of Halkidiki, and more specifically in the area Cassandra, where you can go without fear, even with babies. The vast majority of Kassandra hotels are designed for tourists with children. The standard package of services includes babysitting services, a crib, a high chair, a children's menu, swimming pools with attractions, and Russian-language animation. The territory of many hotels has shops where you can buy hygiene products, toys, clothes and everything else that a little person may unexpectedly need.

Vacation with children it will seem like a real paradise here, especially if you know how to choose the right place to live. So, which hotels in Kassandra are worthy of close attention for moms and dads? What should I look for when booking? First of all - dislocation. Family hotel must be located near the sea, a beach with fine, clean sand is a prerequisite. Having your own water park - too. Please note that children's pools must be located next to adult pools.

A good hotel for families with children has a large landscaped area, cozy cottages with verandas leading to the garden, a children's room organized according to all the rules, and offers a children's menu, services of qualified personnel for children (pediatrician, nanny, water sports instructors).

The importance of the age factor when choosing Kassandra hotels for a good holiday with children

Organizing a vacation with children is not so easy. And one of the main criteria when choosing a hotel will be age. Yes exactly. The age factor is an important point that should not be neglected. For example, if you are going on vacation with a child under 3 years old, then you need to book a hotel with a large beach, green areas and a mini-club for creative activities. A cozy house with a garden and a kitchen is perfect for a child 4-6 years old. The little one is unlikely to appreciate long walks and sightseeing of ancient sights, but noisy fun on playground will come in handy.

Older children (7-13 years old) will not refuse to visit the zoo, amusement park, and museums. No less popular will be excursions to historical places combined with picnics in nature and sports competitions with souvenir prizes. It’s not easy to come to an agreement with teenagers aged 14-16 years old. Parents dream of an afternoon nap and a quiet dinner in a good restaurant, and children dream of discos and sailing tours. However, nothing is impossible. Knowing the habits of an adult child, you can choose an alternative option that will suit both parties. Try to find a middle ground between your needs and your children's desires.

When choosing a place to stay for a holiday with children, many parents are concerned with the question - what is better: book a hotel room or rent a small bungalow? In this case, you will again have to take age into account. If the child is small, then, of course, a full hotel room is much more convenient. But when relaxing with older children, you can give preference to a cottage or villa. You can feel at home and enjoy your holiday, often at the lowest cost.

The Chalkidiki Peninsula is the most suitable place for this. We offer an overview of the best hotels in Halkidiki for families with children, where your family will surely spend an unforgettable time on their summer vacation.

OceaniaClub & Spa 5* (Kassandra)

This hotel is part of the Sani hotel chain, which unites five-star complexes operating on the Ultra system All Inclusive and is located in Kassandra.

Everything here is designed to prevent and satisfy any desire of the guest, and no matter what age he is - a baby or a pensioner.

It is not for nothing that in 2013 the hotel was recognized as one of the best luxury hotels in the country and received the Traveler’s Choice 2013 award.

For families with babies and older children in Oceania Club Spa Literally every little detail has been thought out:

Oceania Club Private Beach awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness, there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to it.

The sand here is fine and pleasant, the entrance to the sea is convenient, and on the beach there is a fenced children's area under an umbrella. Sunbeds, umbrellas and towels are free.

However, many tourists in their reviews call the descriptions of the beach embellished: the road to the sandbank in the sea is lined with sandbags, and at the entrance to the water there are sea urchins, whose needles can damage your legs.

The hotel offers 10 bars and restaurants for guests. There is always something to feed a child, judging by the reviews of tourists. There is plenty of fruit at any time of the day, milk porridges are prepared every morning, and soups for lunch.

Hotel location It’s also quite convenient: the village of Nea Moudania is only half a kilometer away. Thessaloniki airport is 35 minutes by car.

Accommodation at OceaniaClub & Spa 5* largely depends on the category of the selected room and the view from the window. For a week in June, a family with a 5-year-old child will pay:

  • for accommodation in a standard room – from 90 thousand rubles;
  • for placement in JuniorSuite – from 125 thousand rubles;
  • for accommodation in a Suite – from 135 thousand rubles.

In general, all hotels of the Sani system can guarantee a wonderful holiday with children, for example, the complex, which is also located on the Chalkidiki peninsula.

Reviews from tourists:

“There is nothing to complain about at the hotel, everything is almost perfect! There are a lot of vacationers with children, 80 percent of them, the rest are foreign pensioners" ( Karina, Kazan)

“Friends recommended this hotel to us, but we were dissatisfied with some things. Firstly, the all-inclusive food is modest to say the least. There were no problems feeding our three-year-old son, but we didn’t like it ourselves. Secondly, the beach is inconvenient. Walking on sandbags is still a pleasure!” ( Sergey, Stavropol)

“We traveled as a family with our 5-year-old daughter. She liked everything, she loved going to the mini-club, the only thing that alarmed me there was the air conditioner working at full power. Swimming pools, sea, food - everything without complaints. But I wouldn’t recommend families with teenagers to go here - children aged 12–15 will be bored at the Oceania Club.” ( Svetlana, Barnaul)

Porto Carras Sithonia Thalassotherapy & Spa 5* (Porto Carras Sithonia)

This hotel is located on the Sithonia peninsula, famous for its beaches and gorgeous views of the neighboring “prongs” of Halkidiki.

It is part of the whole resort area Porto Carras Grand Resort, covering an area of almost 2000 hectares, is next to very beautiful town Neos Marmaras.

Porto Carras Sithonia is positioned as a hotel designed specifically for family holidays.

And the number of services for children differs even from other hotels in this resort complex:

However, the greatest advantage of the Porto Carras hotel, all guests without exception consider its green territory and crystal clear sea with a sand and pebble beach and views of the bay.

Porto Carras Sithonia 5* is located in a pine forest, and the air here itself has a beneficial effect on children.

Animation in hotel complex there is, but rarely any of its employees speak Russian. The level of entertainment for children is not bad for European hotels, there are evening programs.

Older children will be more interested in the sporting events that take place every day on the seashore and by the pool.

In general, teenagers have something to do here, as there are several sports centers on site (some of which are paid):

From unique entertainment you can note waterslides in Laguna Sithonia, as well as a road train that runs daily throughout the Porto Carras Grand Resort.

Hotel accommodation is possible according to any system - from BB to UAI.

In June a week for a family of two adults and a child will cost (all inclusive):

  • accommodation in StandardRoom – from 46 thousand rubles;
  • accommodation in Familyroomseaview – from 75 thousand rubles;
  • placement in ExecutiveSuite – from 80 thousand rubles.

Reviews from tourists:

“The hotel area is huge and wonderful! Everything is clean, tidy, the lawns are trimmed, there is no garbage anywhere. The sea is great too! But there are a lot of families with kids, some of them scream and act up all day, so I don’t advise young people to go here.” ( Anna, Moscow)

“Yes, the hotel is not new, it could use some renovations, in some places there is broken furniture and the carpet is dirty. But the purity and beauty of the sea is what makes it worth going to Porto Carras! The food is tasty, but it cannot be called varied.” ( Igor, Kolomna)

“Our two sons (4 years old and 14 years old) really liked everything. The younger one could endlessly play with the sand on the beach, and the older one almost immediately found friends, together they rode bicycles, played football and volleyball, twice he even went to horse riding lessons, but this is an expensive pleasure.” ( Ksenia, Arkhangelsk)

Kassandra Palace

The location of the hotel is indicated by its name: Kassandra Palace 4* welcomes guests on the busiest “finger” of the Halkidiki peninsula in the village of Kriopigi.

The hotel grounds are planted with tropical trees and have its own Blue Flag-awarded beach.

Children's animation here is somewhat more modest than in previous hotels, but children are also honored guests.

Attention, care and various activities will be provided to your children at a high level.

Infrastructure for children includes:

  • Children's swimming pool;
  • children's playground;
  • club for children under 12 years old;
  • a crib in the room;
  • babysitting services on request.

Kassandra Palace Hotel operates both on an all-inclusive and half-board basis, but guests will not go hungry - the complex has two restaurants, several bars and a real Greek tavern.

However, if this is not enough, then there is a regular free shuttle to the village of Kriopigi from the hotel. shuttle bus, and there is a much larger choice of cafes and taverns.

Tourists, as a rule, have no complaints about the food; sometimes they only mention the monotony of breakfast and the sluggishness of the waiters.

The hotel's beach is clean, the views from it are wonderful, umbrellas and sunbeds are provided to guests free of charge.

The beach is covered with sand and large pebbles, sometimes there are also large stones, so small children may need special shoes.

Accommodation prices in the Kassandra Palace Hotel during the season for a family with a child, approximately the following:

Standard accommodation – from 35 thousand rubles,

Deluxe accommodation – from 45 thousand rubles,

Executive placement – from 50 thousand rubles.

Reviews from tourists:

“The food at the hotel is quite normal, but it remains a mystery to us why there is no seafood at all. But they provide champagne for breakfast! There are lines at the restaurant in the evenings and it doesn't look very good. There is a charge for drinks at the beach bar, even if you have an all-inclusive package. ( Christina, Kemerovo)

“Everything in the hotel is very clean and tidy, the staff is friendly, but there is nothing special, no designer delights, not even paintings hanging anywhere. There was no cereal for the child's breakfast, but delicious pancakes were fried several times. We found a cafe in Kriopigi with a Russian owner, she makes excellent chicken soup, there is also a playground for children - in general, we are used to having dinner with her.” ( Marina, Omsk)

Blue Bay 4*

A more budget-friendly and, accordingly, more modest holiday is offered by the BlueBay 4* hotel. It is located in Halkidiki on the Kassandra peninsula near the village of Afitos (1 km) and 4 km from the beautiful, lively town of Kallithea.

This hotel is small and quite cozy, a few meters from it there is an amazing sandy beach.

For kids there is only a playground and a children's pool, but a large number of tourists with children of all ages suggests that the quiet and measured life of the hotel and its proximity to the clearest sea are also an important component for a successful family vacation.

Cost of sunbeds on the beach– 4 euros per day. But if you buy any drink right there at the bar, they are provided free of charge. Prices are approximately as follows:

  • cocktail – 5.5 euros;
  • fresh – 5 euros;
  • water – 0.5 euros.

As for food, you can buy only breakfast or eat half board.

A family with a child in one of the summer months week's stay(half board) at BlueBay 4* will cost the following amount:

  • from 25 thousand rubles for standard placement;
  • from 46 thousand rubles. when staying in Suite rooms.

TOURISTS' ANSWERS:

Greece is a country with rich history, interesting historical sites, incredible nature: mountains, seas, mineral springs, incredible beaches, many islands. Along with all this is a well-developed tourist infrastructure, which provides a comfortable and high-quality vacation for every tourist.

Let's talk about family vacation, more specifically, about holidays with children, about regions and hotels (I saw them all personally, so I can recommend them).

Chalkidiki. It is worth talking about this region three times, since Chalkidiki consists of three parts, three fingers - Athos, Sithonia, Kassandra. Generally speaking, Halkidiki is 500 km of incredible beaches, most of which are marked with the Blue Flag of the European Union, this is the clear Aegean Sea, which warms up well in the season, since it is protected by the mainland (if you compare, for example, with Crete, the water here is 2-3 degrees higher, almost no noticeable winds), these are hundreds of hotels with well-developed children's infrastructure.

Athos. Not my favorite part of Halkidiki, apparently because there is little entertainment infrastructure here. But there are many advantages for holidays with children: the best nature in Halkidiki ( most The island is occupied by the Monastic Men's Republic - a protected area, so deforestation is prohibited here), good sandy beaches, proximity to the airport transfer (which is especially convenient for tourists with small children). Hotels that I advise you to consider: Aristoteles Holiday Resort & Spa 4* (note, the beach across the road has an underground passage), Alexandros Palace Hotel & Suites 5* (also across the road, there is a passage), Eagles Palace Hotel 5 * Deluxe (for VIP -tourists, first line). The disadvantage of the region is the lack of infrastructure outside the hotels.

Sithonia. As for me, the most comfortable part of the Halkidiki region. The best thing here is the beaches, coastline very rugged, which ensures the presence of many cozy lagoons, clean and fine sand, calm sea and complete absence of wind. The infrastructure here is more developed than on Mount Athos. I advise you to consider the following hotels: Lagomandra Beach 4* and Lagomandra Spa 4* (the first is on the first line, the second is immediately on it, there is no road between the beach and the hotel). As for me, it is at these hotels best beach on Sithonia. Assa Maris 4* (no complaints, most of all I remember the food), hotels of the Porto Carras chain – from the hotels themselves, I’m not delighted, but children’s entertainment and an unreal beach are its obvious advantages.

Kassandra is my favorite part of the Halkidiki region. One of the nuances is the longest transfer from the nearest airport in Thessaloniki. In all other respects, the advantages are the presence of a wide infrastructure: shops, cafes, various Greek taverns (therefore, it is not necessary to book all-inclusive meals). Hotels that I advise you to consider: Kassandra Palace Hotel & Spa 5*, Potidea Palace 4*, Portes Beach Hotel 4*. There are many good apart-hotels with kitchens that are located right on the beach, I advise you to consider: Flegra Beach Boutique Hotel App, Ostria Sea Side Hotel 4*.

My assessment of hotels is subjective, from personal experience The parameters according to which I chose hotels were: the presence of children's infrastructure, gentle entry into the sea, appropriate food, children's entertainment. Please note that holidays with children in Greece are noticeably different compared to, for example, Turkey. The animation here will be “soft” - that is, not too active, not intrusive, most hotels do not operate on an all-inclusive system, few hotels have a special menu for infants, the amount of entertainment will be much less. But if we talk about the quality of those services, they will be at the appropriate level.

Is it a good time to go on vacation? The season begins in mid-May (although during this period the sea has not yet warmed up enough) and ends at the end of September - beginning of October.

Show Greece to your children; here everyone will find what they like best.

Is the answer helpful?

If you are wondering: “Should I go to Halkidiki with my child,” then I hope the information below will be interesting for you.

First. It’s definitely worth the trip, because Halkidiki is an incredible region of Greece. I will give arguments. Climate. A combination of Mediterranean and continental, in summer it is comfortable and not hot. The best time to travel with children is July-August. Sea and beaches. The Aegean Sea is beautiful, mostly sandy beaches. Some beaches have pine trees, just like in Croatia. And the sea warms up well here, as it is protected by the mainland. Another advantage is the proximity to the airport (50-100 km depending on the chosen hotel).

Now let's talk more specifically about the hotels that I would advise you to consider for families with children.

Portes Beach Hotel 4*. What makes this hotel different from other hotels on my list is that it was built in harmony with nature, there is a lot of greenery everywhere, a luxurious garden, and many flowers. Children's infrastructure includes a children's pool, mini-club and playground. Beach: sand and pebbles, but the pebbles are small, so it will be comfortable with children. For adults, the hotel will be interesting with its wide variety aquatic species sports, many of which are free.

Assa Maris 4*. One of the hotels whose territory I liked the most. Everything is very beautiful, all the buildings are built with taste, and what I liked most here was the food! Children's infrastructure is similar: playground, swimming pool, club. Interesting animation for children and adults. I also have no comments about the beach - perfect sand.

Potidea Palace 4*+. I do not position this hotel as strictly for children, I advise adults to relax here as well. But for families with children there is everything you need: a playground, a swimming pool, a mini-club. Also, unlike other hotels, there is baby food, a crib, services for babies, and the ability to order a nanny (for a fee). The beach is beautiful! On site there is a copy of the Athens Parthenon - favorite place for a newlyweds photo shoot.

Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa 5*. Expensive, but luxurious. For children: playground, club, swimming pool. The beach is perfect (marked with the EU blue flag). What else struck me here was the food. At the entrance to the hotel restaurant there is an electronic map of Greece, and every day a different region is highlighted. For example, today Crete means they will prepare dishes that are popular in Crete, and so every day a different region. Delicious.

Ikos Ocenia 5*. Perhaps someone knows this hotel as Oceania Club & Spa 5* (until last year it was called that way and was part of the Sani hotel chain). For children: playground, swimming pool, club, services for babies and the opportunity to order babysitting services. Last year the hotel had one problem - the beach. The entry into the sea was bad; at the entrance to the sea there were sandbags to make it more comfortable for hotel guests to enter. This year, they say, they filled in the sand, so I really hope there won’t be any comments. Overall the hotel is of high quality and service.

Of course, these are not all hotels in Halkidiki where it is comfortable to relax with children. There are a lot of apartments where the advantage will be rooms with a kitchen, and therefore the opportunity to cook something yourself. If you want an apartment, I advise you to consider Flegra Beach Boutique Hotel & Spa(opened in 2014). Their location will be ideal for young people, since there is a lot of tourist infrastructure nearby.

Regarding the excursion program that will be interesting for children, it is difficult to advise anything specifically, since it all depends on the age of your children. Most excursions have a historical meaning, since Greece is, first of all, the country of the gods; the country is rich in architectural and natural attractions. I know one thing for sure, if you are with children, then it’s worth visiting the following two places. First. Science Center and Museum of Technology (Neosis) in Thessaloniki. On its vast territory there is a planetarium, a modern amusement park, a virtual reality simulator, as well as a 3D cinema, exhibitions and museums. In fact, it is interesting here for both children and adults. Also not far from Thessaloniki there is a huge water park: slides, pools, artificial lakes - everything you need for relaxation.

In a word, it’s worth going to Greece with children. Here you will find high-quality European service, clean sea and beautiful nature.
